Prioritizing myself and what makes me happy was the biggest lesson I had to learn as a studio owner/small business owner. When I choose to put myself first, that is when the magic happens: My creativity blossoms, the energy around me is fire and my business or the project I’m working on skyrockets. Or it doesn’t, but my happiness does. So its a win/win. There is no trophy for Most Burnt-Out. There is no award for “Hardest Working But Personally Unfulfilled”.
