Our Guest, Luis Teixeira is a lecturer of Adult Nursing in London, been a registered nurse in Portugal and UK. We discuss about his career path, about bioethics and challenges for nursing education, never forgetting our portuguese roots.
This episode is dedicated to the Work of the Medicine Sans Frontier. Our guest is Dr. Lynn Agdeppa, a Filipino orthopaedic surgeon that has been involved in many missions for the MSF including Haiti and Afghanistan. In this episode we get to know about her missions and reflections Dr Lynn took back home.

The Fair Pay For Nursing campaign is according to the RCN:
- recognising the complexity of skill, responsibility and experience demonstrated every day, by nursing support workers, assistant practitioners, nursing associates, registered nurses and all members of the profession.
- making sure that a safety critical profession can reach safe staffing levels and fill tens of thousands of unfilled nursing jobs.
- recognising that the salaries of too many nursing professionals has not kept pace with increases to their living costs over the past decade.
Both guests and myself encourage to vote on the indicative ballot regarding industrial action. Vote finalises on the 30 of November 2011
