Hey there moto family! I’m Dustin Brinton and I’m super excited to bring the Revs ‘N Roost podcast show to you. I am just like many of you and I share a deep passion for riding dirt bikes. I ride and race myself and have been navigating the ups and downs of getting my kids into riding. It is such a big part of my life and when I have free time, it’s spent having something to do with dirt bikes. Whether you race or just ride with your buddies, this show is for you. Here we’ll talk about success stories and the thrills around riding dirt bikes. From everyday weekend warriors to professional racers, we’ll be talking with them to get their take. We’ll cover race recaps and talk about the industry in general. Our mission is to spread the love of riding with as many as we can. Revs ‘N Roost is the place where we talk about it. This year’s race was filled with some major ups and downs. Both of which made for a great experience and lessons learned. I rode a good race and enjoyed the course even more on the second loop (the first loop was spent getting into a good flow).
Thanks for the Groundshakers MC for putting on a great race and spending countless hours getting things organized for us to come race. This year’s course was amazing and really showed just how vast the terrain can be in Nevada. After I caught my breath (and edited my GoPro footage and this podcast), I was able to really reflect on how great it was. Check out my video below.

Come along this week as a few of us discuss our race at the 2021 Rhino Rally in St. George, Utah. This was the first race of the year for several people following the USRA series and what a race it was. The course was extremely rocky in some sections and fast and flowy in others. On this week’s show, Rado from Dirt N Iron gives us some insight into how he got started riding and building dirt bikes. In my mind, he is what the American dream is all about. He sold his 4 Runner to buy he and his boy bikes. Now that’s commitment! But that was only the beginning for his dirt bike journey. He decided to take the skills he learned in Czechoslovakia building choppers with his buddies and put them to work building dirt bikes. All it took was his ambition and hard work to pull it off. On today’s show, we interview my good friend Jake Bozarth. Jake grew up riding at a young age and watched in wonder as his cousins would race. Those memories are engraved in him and he still looks up to their example. It was not until three decades later that he decided to sign up for his own, first, desert race (with a little peer pressure).
Come along as Jake relives those early memories on a bike and the reasons why he rides. He teaches us some valuable life lessons he has learned from riding and they apply to riders and non-riders alike. During the second week of this year's Dakar Rally, the race brings joy and tragedy to those who participate. Our hearts and prayers go out to Pierre Cherpin's family and friends as they mourn his passing. With that, may we remember that this sport we all love can have severe consequences. Be careful out there my friends.
A huge congratulations to Skyler Howes and Ricky Brabec for bringing home two top five finishes! Ricky finished 2nd and Skyler with his best finish in 5th overall. Great work!
