Should the government be able to say how many people can attend a religious gathering at someone’s home? The Supreme Court issued a 5-4 ruling last week. Popular women’s Bible teacher Beth Moore took aim at the doctrine of complimentarianism. I review the book “Jesus and John Wayne.”
Daniel Gilman spent a year and a half working for Ravi Zacharias International Ministries (RZIM) in Canada. As more and more allegations against Ravi came to light, Gilman became more outspoken about the need to respond to the scandal and for the ministry to take care of Ravi's victims. In this episode, we walk through Daniel's time with RZIM, a path the ministry could have taken forward.
What is the unifying theme of the New Testament? In his award winning book "The Messianic Theology of New Testament," Dr. Joshua Jipp argues “The central argument of this book is that the messianic identity of Jesus of Nazareth is not only the presupposition for, but is also the primary (though certainly not exclusive) content of, New Testament theology.”
While it's a subject which is often overlooked in churches and the popular Christian culture, in this episode of Today's Faith Matters, we a rich and robust theology of understanding that Jesus is the Messiah is important to our understanding of the New Testament.
Dr. Jipp is a New Testament scholar and professor at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School.

Generation Z, those born from the late 90s through the early 2010s are the least religious generation in American history. Steve Rieske has worked on college campuses for over 20 years with Cru and now as a pastor. In this episode, we talk about Gen Z, their views of Christianity and the things in which they place their faith.
We also talk about the response that Christians can have. It’s not about arguments or isolated conversations. It’s about relationships and genuinely living out faith in a wonderful and glorious God that resonates with people.

A bombshell report was released today regarding the sexual misconduct of late evangelist Ravi Zacharias. The report confirms numerous inappropriate relationships that Zacharias had over several years.
In this episode, I talk with Steve Baughman who started sounding the alarm about Ravi’s sexual misconduct while the famed ministry leader was still alive. Steve has continued to follow developments in the Ravi story. He’s written a book about Ravi’s academic fraud and sexual misconduct called “Cover-up in the Kingdom."

Eternal functional subordination, also known as Eternal Submission of the Son, also known as Eternal Relationships of Authority and Submission is a subject which has seen increasing debate over the last several years within Evangelical circles.
The Doctrine of the Trinity has sparked debates throughout the history of the church. Multiple councils met in the early centuries of the church to weigh in on these significant doctrinal issues. A recent debate has raged pertaining to the eternal relationship of the Father and the Son.
In this episode, I continue my discussion with Tony Arsenal, who has followed this issue and written about it over the last few years. Tony also co-hosts the Reformed Brotherhood podcast, which is a part of the Society for Reformed Podcasts.
