Losing the soundness and strength of a mind fixed on Christ will allow fleshly motivations to discourage us and the wonderful grace of God fail us.
Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Hebrews 12:15

The Scriptures teach that believers have been given the victory. Not that we someday will be given the victory but that we possess victory. Believers are not fighting for victory but they are fighting from the victory side. "The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ." I Corinthians 15:56, 57
Sin has no more dominion over believers, at times we may subject ourselves to sin and the bondage of sin but the work of Christ on the cross defeated sin and the power of sin. As the children of Israel left the bondage of Egypt with a high hand, believers are instructed to live thier lives by the HIGH HAND Principle.

When the Israelites walked of 430 years of Egyptian bondage, under the leadership of Moses, the Holy Scriptures reports, "...and the children of Israel went out with an high hand." Some commentators say that the "high hand" is a sign of arrogance, pride or dominance. But is that what it means? "And the LORD hardened the heart of Pharaoh king of Egypt, and he pursued after the children of Israel: and the children of Israel went out with an high hand." Caleb wanted Hebron, the Giants had taken it over but his faith was not deterred, I want that mountain is what he asked for and Hebron, the mountain, is what he got! “Hebron therefore became the inheritance of Caleb the son of Jephunneh the Kenezite unto this day, because that he wholly followed the LORD God of Israel.” Joshua 14:14

And Moses sware on that day, saying, Surely the land whereon thy feet have trodden shall be thine inheritance, and thy children's for ever, because thou hast wholly followed the LORD my God." Repent or Perish!
For all of human history we as men have been measuring our lives by seconds, minutes, days, weeks, months years, decades, centuries and millenniums. But when the Great White Throne Judgment is complete, and the lost have received their final judgment, time will then be no longer. God gives each of us an appointed amount of time on the earth to establish a relationship with Him through Jesus Christ. Following is what you need to know and do.
The Original Sin – You must realize That you have broken God’s laws from birth. You are a spiritual criminal. Romans 5:12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
The Penalty of Sin – You must realize the curse of death is upon you if you are not saved. Revelation 21: 8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
The Judgment of Sin – Before you go to hell there will be a terrible Judgment. Revelation 20:12 And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works.
The Good News Verse – God loves you and will saved you. John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
The Check Verse – Salvation comes when you receive Jesus Christ. It occurs at a definite place and a definite time. John 1:12 But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on his name:
The Free Gift Verse – Salvation is actually a free gift of God to you. Ephesians 2:8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: (9) Not of works, lest any man should boast.
The Claim Verse – Jesus will enter into your heart and life if you will simply ask him to! Revelation 3:20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

The lack of preaching on the afterlife whether it's Heaven or Hell does not diminish it's importance. The Lord Jesus Christ warned us about Hell in Matthew 10:28 "And fear not them which kill the body, but are not able to kill the soul: but rather fear him which is able to destroy both soul and body in hell." Hell could be described as jail time before facing prison or the Lake of Fire. Revelation 2:14 tells us about the eternal prison for the souls who dies with out forgiveness of sin and salvation in Christ Jesus. It says, "And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death." There will come a time for all of mankind when time is no longer measured. What then? Click to hear. week 16

Matthew chapter 26 and verses 63-66 tell us about a conspiracy that was formed by the political and religious leaders to disavow the resurrection of Jesus Christ. "Now the next day, that followed the day of the preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees came together unto Pilate, Saying, Sir, we remember that that deceiver said, while he was yet alive, After three days I will rise again. Command therefore that the sepulchre be made sure until the third day, lest his disciples come by night, and steal him away, and say unto the people, He is risen from the dead: so the last error shall be worse than the first. Pilate said unto them, Ye have a watch: go your way, make it as sure as ye can. So they went, and made the sepulchre sure, sealing the stone, and setting a watch."

"But he began to curse and to swear, saying, I know not this man of whom ye speak." (Mark 14:71) These are the words of Simon Peter the apostle just before Jesus was to be crucified. Just a few weeks later he said, "Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked hands have crucified and slain:Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that he should be holden of it. (Acts 2:22-24) What changed?
Once the news of Christs' resurrection was known the religious leaders conspired with the soldiers using bribery. "...Say ye, His disciples came by night, and stole him away while we slept." (Matthew 28:13) But why? To control the narrative and to gain the upper hand, maybe? What happened?
If the resurrection of Jesus Christ really did occur then you have a very important decision to make.

The following words are mentioned four times in Psalm 107, "Oh that men would praise the LORD for his goodness, and for his wonderful works to the children of men!" The psalm is structured so that verses 8, 15, 21 and 31 are the close of a part, like a stanza of a song, and the verses reason out the thought of the previous verses. The verses seem to toss us a question, what will be our response to God's goodness be?

The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. Your part is to exercise personal faith with sincere heart prayer.
Romans 10:9-13 "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
