there were some sorrow, emptiness, and disappointments last year, but if anything, 2022 has given me plenty of (good) plot twists. from school, health, to even my personal life, nothing ever went the way i wanted it to; but because of this, i am reminded to always expect the unexpected.
with various surprising turn of events, i often doubt myself and the path that i’m in; but with every doubt, i gained resilience. it is at these moments that i am reminded of who should take the pen and continue my story instead. sometimes i have to let go and let God be in control. and as the story persists, 2022 has turned all my graves into gardens. it takes immense courage to have faith in an ending i wouldn’t know or ever expect it to be, but that is where faith comes in, and where the beauty of uncertainty lies.
i want to take this time to thank everyone i know in my life. whether you played a role in my life or not, whether we know or communicate with each other or not, thank you for simply existing. it is at these moments that i realize some people that are most distant or close to you can be your own blessing in disguise.
so, entering this year, pretty late into 2023, i reflect back on experiences and lessons i’ve learned throughout the course of 2022. it’s been awhile since i posted a wholesome, heart-to-heart episode, so i hope you guys enjoy this one <3
