The experiences described in this podcast shows us the power of sharing knowledge.
It also highlights institutionalized racism, sexism and oppression that has been a barrier to many in Scarborough since the 1960's.
One way to overcome these barriers is to converse, get educated in the history so as to point out oppressive language and behaviours.
