When was the last time you felt awe and wonder? These emotions are something truly special, and if we don't make time for awe and wonder they will start to disappear from us like the childhood memories that were once so important, but now seem distant in comparison with life's responsibilities

With all these things on your mind right now- maybe stop, take deep breaths (or slow down), remember what awe and wonder feels likes…

In this podcast today, I'm going to ask you 3 questions that will help you reflect on yourself and your life. These questions can be really helpful in determining your next steps and helping you find more fulfillment in life.

  1. Are you feeling any pain right now?
  2. What would you love to see differently in your life and what would that look like?
  3. What is one small thing you can do for yourself today to work towards that hope?

Our bodies are incredible things. They are designed to protect us from harm and to heal us when we are hurt. But sometimes, the physical pain we experience can be a reminder of past trauma or hurt. This is because our bodies store memories of both good and bad experiences. When we encounter something that reminds our body of a negative experience, it can bring up those old feelings of pain and hurt. However, the pain we feel in our bodies can also be a sign that we are doing something wrong or that we need to make a change. So, if you are feeling any pain right now, ask yourself what your body might be trying to tell you. It could be something as simple as needing to drink more water or getting more rest, or might be a bit more complex and prompting you to speak to a health professional.

We all have something in our lives that we would like to change. For some of us, it may be our job, our relationships, our weight, or where we live. The list goes on and on. Changing our lives can be a scary proposition because it means stepping out of our comfort zones and into the unknown. However, it is important to remember that we cannot change something if we do not know what we want that change to look like. So, take some time to think about what you would like to see differently in your life. What would that look like? What would you be doing? Who would you be spending your time with? Once you have a clear idea of what you want, you can begin to explore the possibilities and brainstorm what that might look like.

When it comes to making positive changes in our lives, it's often easy to feel overwhelmed. Where do I even start? How can I make a lasting difference? Will my efforts really make a difference? These are all common questions that can prevent us from even taking the first step.

The good news is, we can start small. Making small changes in our daily lives can have a big impact in the long run. And it doesn't have to be something major or life-changing. Sometimes, it can be as simple as adding a daily walk to our routine or packing a healthy lunch instead of buying takeout.

Starting small also helps to ease the feeling of being overwhelmed.

The lilac bush is a metaphor for growing and taking care of our needs to play. When we are children, we are encouraged to play, to be creative, to use our imaginations. We are free to explore and experiment. But as we grow older, we often forget the importance of play and how essential it is to our well-being. Play allows us to explore new ideas, to try new things, to take risks. And when we take risks, we open ourselves up to new possibilities, new experiences, new ways of seeing the world.

It's okay to have days where you aren't feeling great. In fact, it's normal!

We all have them, and it doesn't mean something is always wrong.

It's okay to have days where you aren't feeling great.

It's usually your body asking you to check in with it and nurture yourself.

When we don't take the time to listen to our bodies, they will eventually speak louder. This can manifest as physical or emotional symptoms that are difficult to ignore.

If you're noticing that you've been having more of these off days than usual, maybe it's time for you to slow down and take some time for self-care.

Bad days happen to everyone, but that doesn't mean they're fun.

It's important to listen to your body and give it what it needs when these days come around.

Join Cherry and Sharla in this podcast where they talk about their recent bad days, how they leaned into the discomfort, and how they nurture themselves on days when they're not feeling their best.

They also explore how to do this in a way that works for you, so that you can make the most of your off days.

If you're struggling with bad days, or if you just want to learn more about self-care, this podcast is for you!

Many of the most rewarding activities in life are hobby-related. From rock climbing to knitting, there are endless opportunities for fun and exploration. And contrary to popular belief, play is not just for children. Adults need play just as much as kids do, maybe even more. Play helps us to stay creative and curious, two essential qualities in life. So next time you're feeling stuck, remember that it's always ok to take a break and have some fun. Embrace your inner child and let yourself play. Who knows, you might just find your new favorite hobby in the process.

When was the last time you simply played? Not worked, not exercised, not pursued a goal, but played? For many of us, play seems like a frivolous activity that we can no longer afford to indulge in as adults. We relegate play to our childhoods, believing that it has no place in our more serious lives. But what if play is one of the most important things we can do for our adult selves? According to the Oxford English Dictionary, "to play" is defined as "to wield lightly and freely; to keep in motion." In this podcast, I will explore the forgotten benefits of play and how it can enrich our lives as adults.

It's no secret that getting a good night's sleep is important for overall health. What may be less well-known, however, is just how essential restful sleep is for the body and mind. During sleep, the body enters into different cycles of activity in order to allow the mind and body to rest and recover from the day's activities. In this podcast Cherry and Sharla, will discuss the importance of restful sleep and how it affects the body and mind. We'll also look at some tips for getting a good night's sleep!
