Hey everyone! It has been a little while since we last put out an episode of 66 in 365, and like most excuses, ours is a lame one! Allana and I both have gotten super busy with the back to school craze and everything with it! Welcome to 66 in 365: Bible Reading for Kids! We are excited to be reading the Bible with you!! Jesus finishes up chapter 24 with an encouraging message of how God is going to make all things right and that we should always be ready for that day and hour to come because no one except for God knows when it will happen! Today in Matthew chapter 17 we read about the transfiguration of Jesus where the disciples hear God! How cool is that? Jesus goes on to heal more people and predict his death again. In chapter 18, Jesus talks about children being the greatest in heaven and he tells a few more parables or stories to help the disciples and us understand what he wants for us! On today's episode Moses sends out a group of scouts to see the land of Canaan that God had promised them. We find out what the scouts saw and their negative report about the land. God wants the Israelites to trust in Him. Moses shares their punishment from God to the Israelites and they still don't listen!

Welcome to 66 in 365: Bible Reading for Kids! We are excited to kick off 2022 with reading the Bible with you Our goal is to help our kids be engaged with the Bible every day this year and we hope that you will join us! On today's episode we are going to be recapping some of the censuses and duties of the different ancestral families. We are not going to be reading these chapters, but instead will be giving a brief highlight of Numbers 1-10 for the same reasons that we have jumped through some of the other drawn out parts of the story. We want to have our kids engaged with the scripture each day. We will dive into chapters 11 and 12. The Israelites are not happy and God has a lot to say about that.

Welcome to 66 in 365: Bible Reading for Kids! We are excited to kick off 2022 with reading the Bible with you Our goal is to help our kids be engaged with the Bible every day this year and we hope that you will join us! On today's episode we are going to be recapping some of the laws that the levites would be carrying out over the next several hundred years within the nation of Israel. We are not going to be reading these chapters, but instead will be giving a brief highlight of the book of leviticus for the same reasons that we have jumped through some of the other drawn out parts of the story. We want to have our kids engaged with the scripture each day and yes, the levitical law is part of scripture and is beneficial for learning and providing context for the rest of the Bible, it is a very difficult book to read through because so many of the practices are not continued today and for the purposes of this podcast, we have decided to give a recap...But we do encourage parents and kids to jump in and read the scripture word for word and see what connections you can make to New Testament practices, traditions and why Jesus was so revolutionary.
