139 1 "O lord, thou hast searched me, and known me" .
2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
When it comes to being in tune with our spouse and their emotional temperature, are we aware of where they are emotionally and how we can attend to their needs?
Have we taken the time to search, know, and understand them and their thoughts?
DO we know the importance of stillness when all that surrounds us is chaos and much activity?
Every soul must have a personal experience in obtaining a knowledge of the will and ways of God. Through study of the Scriptures, through earnest prayer, they may hear His message to them, "Be still and know that I am God." When every other voice is hushed, when every earthly interest is turned aside, the silence of the soul makes more distinct the voice of God. Here rest is found in Him. The peace, the joy, the life of the soul, is God. FE 440.2
When we start our day with prayer our Monday can be a day of motivation to start of the week in the right way.

Why should the sons and daughters of God be reluctant to pray, when prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heaven's storehouse where are treasured the boundless resources of omnipotence?"

The goodness of God as narrated by nature.
If the stars were made to worship, so will I
If the mountains bow in reverence, so will I
If the oceans roar Your greatness, so will I
For if everything exists to lift You high, so will I
If the wind goes where You send it, so will I
If the rocks cry out in silence, so will I
If the sum of all our praises still falls shy
Then we'll sing again a hundred billion times
God of salvation
You chased down my heart
Through all of my failure and pride.
Love as christ loved in time of famine and in time of plenty. The love of Christ expressed to our brethren. Overcoming evil with good. What was meant for evil, good meant for good.
For whatsoever is born of God overcometh the world: and this is the victory that overcometh the world, even our faith. 1 John 5:4
Fathers (Ye have known him from the beginning), and young men (Ye are strong, the word of God abides in you and you have overcome the wicked one).
John 16:33 KJV
These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world.
When satan presents you as a sinner, tell him yes, but Jesus died to save a sinner like me. I am forgiven.
"She made me all I am through the grace of God. Her instruction, her prayers, have been blessed to my eternal salvation."
The key to conquering giants
God is ready and willing to hear the sincere prayer of the humblest of His children.... Why should the sons and daughters of God be reluctant to pray, when prayer is the key in the hand of faith to unlock heaven's storehouse where are treasured the boundless resources Pr 4.2
Consecrate yourself to God in the morning; make this your very first work. Let your prayer be, "Take me, O Lord, as wholly Thine. I lay all my plans at Thy feet. Use me today in Thy service. Abide with me, and let all my work be wrought in Thee." This is a daily matter. Each morning consecrate yourself to God for that day. Surrender all your plans to Him, to be carried out or given up as His providence shall indicate. Thus day by day you may be giving your life into the hands of God, and thus your life will be molded more and more after the life of Christ.—(Steps to Christ, 70 Pr 166.4
Will you trust that God will bless you? Psalm 103:2-3
Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases
Do you trust that God is good? Exodus 33:18-19
And he said, I beseech thee, shew me thy glory. And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before thee, and I will proclaim the name of the Lord before thee; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious, and will shew mercy on whom I will shew mercy.
Under wings I am safely abiding, like a mother hen gathering all of her chick's. I am sheltered, protected and comforted in knowing that no evil can harm me. Resting in Jesus I'm Safe ever more.
You can be comforted by knowing that God has the whole world in his hands, he is in control, with him you can find comfort and rest.
Come, ye disconsolate, where'er ye languish;
Come to the mercy seat, fervently kneel;
Here bring your wounded hearts, here tell your anguish;
Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.
Joy of the comfortless, light of the straying,
Hope of the penitent, fadeless and pure!
Here speaks the comforter, tenderly saying,
"Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot cure."
Normal isn't coming but, Jesus is coming back with a new heaven and a new earth, with a new normal for his new creatures, that have put on immortality in their new bodies.
Which normal is normal, the old or the new. We are told that the old will pass away and the new will remain but if we are only conditioned to one certain way of living, will we be ready for the new to come?
The fear of and in the world vs. The fear of the Lord. There is no fear in love, fear has torment, but we can fear God and by love give glory to him. As we prepare for the second coming of Jesus we must seek to overcome fears, anxiety, and worries of this world that overcomes our faith and trust in the Lord. That limits our obedience and submission to God as we seek to protect ourselves from what we are afraid of.
As long as you live, look unto Jesus, you who endure trials, pains, heartaches, and tribulations to he who is the author and finisher of your faith and you will receive a crown of life that awaits you.
Not in freedom from trial, but in the midst of it, is Christian character developed. Exposure to rebuffs and opposition leads the follower of Christ to greater watchfulness and more earnest prayer to the mighty Helper. Severe trial endured by the grace of God develops patience, vigilance, fortitude, and a deep and abiding trust in God. It is the triumph of the Christian faith that it enables its followers to suffer and be strong; to submit, and thus to conquer; to be killed all the day long, and yet to live; to bear the cross, and thus to win the crown of glory.
If you could but see heaven, would you now consider that all of your suffering here was worth the rejoicing there? What if the Bible did just that, by given us a picture of what heaven would be like and all you had to do was endure here for a little while, to spend an eternity there. Will it be worth it? Yes my friends. It will all be worth it. Romans 8:18
It is true that men sometimes become ashamed of their sinful ways, and give up some of their evil habits, before they are conscious that they are being drawn to Christ. But whenever they make an effort to reform, from a sincere desire to do right, it is the power of Christ that is drawing them. An influence of which they are unconscious works upon the soul, and the conscience is quickened, and the outward life is amended SC 27.1
By God's amazing grace you can be set free and stay free from every one of Satan's binding temptations and sins. Galatians 5:1
Stand fast therefore in the liberty wherewith Christ hath made us free, and be not entangled again with the yoke of bondage.
We all are the work of his hands, let's us see finished what he has started. A work of art that was and is good.
With such an army of workers as our youth, rightly trained, might furnish, how soon the message of a crucified, risen, and soon-coming Saviour might be carried to the whole world! How soon might the end come—the end of suffering and sorrow and sin! How soon, in place of a possession here, with its blight of sin and pain, our children might receive their inheritance where "the righteous shall inherit the land, and dwell therein forever;" where "the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick," and "the voice of weeping shall be no more heard."
God will assist you along the way, will you not then run and finish the race? The finish line is right before you.
