Irrational behavior in the context of one's job and employment security can refer to a variety of actions or thoughts that are not based on logical or rational reasoning. Examples may include excessive worry or fear about losing one's job, even in the absence of clear evidence or reason to support those concerns, or an unwillingness to consider or pursue other employment opportunities out of a belief that one's current job is the only secure option. Such behavior can lead to negative consequences for an individual's career and well-being.

The Great Famine, also known as the Irish Potato Famine, was a period of mass starvation, disease, and emigration in Ireland between 1845 and 1852. It was caused by a fungus that destroyed the potato crop, which was a staple food for the Irish population. As a result, up to 1 million people died of starvation and related diseases, and another 1 million emigrated from Ireland, leading to a significant population decline. The British government's response to the crisis was widely criticized as inadequate and insensitive, and the famine had a lasting impact on Irish society and demographics.

It is projected that the populations of the United States, Germany, and China will continue to grow in the coming decades, but at different rates. The United States is expected to have a relatively stable population, with a projected increase of around 4% by 2050. Germany's population is projected to decline slightly, with a projected decrease of around 5% by 2050. China's population, on the other hand, is projected to decrease significantly, with a projected decrease of around 25% by 2050. This decline is largely due to the country's one-child policy, which was in place for several decades and has led to an aging population. Additionally, all three countries will see an increase in diversity due to immigration.
