You hear a lot of spiritual jargon when you just start on your journey, and “alignment” is one of the main buzz words. Once you “awaken”, meaning, once you’ve tapped into your knowing, and developed your self-awareness and discernment, you start to see all the things in your life that are out of alignment, and you start to follow a path where if it resonates, it stays, but if it doesn’t, it leaves. This is the process of getting into alignment. You know you’re staying on the path of alignment when you have a fueled focus to finding and executing your purpose. After all, this is the point of become aligned anyway, to complete your mission in this life, to achieve ultimate fulfillment for yourself.

Tune in to learn why so many of us are out of alignment, to see what you can expect once you’re living in alignment, and to get tips on things you can do to continue to hone your skills to help you stay in alignment.

Relationships Part Three: Long Term Love

Tune in for last video in the Relationships series on my perspective on these questions listed below that people submitted via my IG (@theimaniamanda). Here, we learn that if we want to stick it out for the long haul, we have to be willing to make some kinds of compromises. How far we go is up to how best we know ourselves, and our beliefs.

Definitely not claiming to be any kind of guru with relationships, not claiming to have cracked the code, or that I even have the best relationship. Finding your divine partner is one of the most sought out things by human beings and I just love to hear and host discussions on what other people have to say about relationships. It’s not only a fun topic for me but with us 18 - 30 year olds, I think we’ve really lost sight of what it means to be vulnerable with each other and build authentic connections. We’re so concerned with putting on this “tough” persona, this “I don’t need no one” persona, that we start to deny ourselves of the love we deep down crave.

Here’s a chance to strip away all the facades and games we like to play, and get back to our true selves; simple beings searching for someone to share this crazy thing we call life with.

  1. Can heterosexual men and women truly just be friends? (05:16)
  2. Can you still be in love, and want a little break from the relationship? Or is it all or nothing? (11:26)
  3. Can polar opposites be in a healthy and lasting relationship? Ex. Living in the city v. Living with land, Religious v. Non religious or a diff religion, Alcohol friendly v. Sober, Democrat v. Republican (17:40)
  4. What are some of the hardest, but most important, topics to discuss with your partner as things get ~serious~? (25:58)
  5. Why do I like when people are obsessed with me? (33:01)
  6. Do we always end up with a soulmate? (37:34)

Comment below what you agree, what you disagree with, or your own advice! Let’s keep it real.

P.S. I recorded this a month ago, but I’m still learning to love the editing process lol. Still, hope you enjoy! <3

Relationships Part Two: Breakups and Makeups

Tune in for my perspective on these questions listed below that people submitted via my IG (@theimaniamanda). Here we learn, some things require one conversation. Other things require multiple conversations. The biggest thing is having discernment in knowing our boundaries and what our threshold is for what we can manage in our lives.

Definitely not claiming to be any kind of guru with relationships, not claiming to have cracked the code, or that I even have the best relationship. Finding your divine partner is one of the most sought out things by human beings and I just love to hear and host discussions on what other people have to say about relationships. 1. How do you work with your partner if you have different love languages? (08:52)
  2. What happens if you feel like you’re in a rut? You really do love the person, but things are just feeling blah. (20:12)
  3. What are some green flags in a relationship? (28:46)
  4. What are some non obvious red flags? (37:08)
  5. What are some key signs that I am probably not ready for a real relationship? (45:00)
  6. How do I get out of an emotionally toxic relationship? (49:07)
  7. I hate my partner’s friends. How do I handle that? (1:02:13)

Affirmations.. Manifestations.. whatever you want to call it; it's important to have these statements that can encourage and ground us in our faith as we stay on this spiritual journey. And, it's important that we are writing these affirmations for ourselves.

Sometimes, when people use the words "affirmations", "spiritual", or any other word with a positive connotation, we can let our guard down and forget to check in with our knowing to make sure that this said "affirmation" or said "spiritual" page/person is serving our highest and best. This can lead us down a very different path than the one we are meant to be on so it's important to keep our discernment radar on HIGH the deeper on this spiritual path we get so we don't get tricked and tripped up.

Like I said in the video, go ahead and follow @HoodHealer on Twitter for that real af guidance.

Spirit doesn’t operate like humans do, and so the brain is important for deciphering and interpreting the messages Spirit give us. Without the two, brain and Spirit, working in harmony, there is no knowing.

It’s also the brain’s job to protect while Spirit guides. Often times, Spirit may guide us into situations outside of our comfort zones. Our brain treats this guidance as a threat and starts to give you any reason that will make you change your mind and not do what Spirit is telling you. This doesn’t mean the brain is bad. It just needs clarification from you that Spirit’s guidance is not a threat.

Once we have the two working together, we have knowing, and we can use this for better discernment, and for implementing better boundaries.

Remember, knowing doesn’t come from anyone else. It’s purely us and the Divine. And it's okay if no one agrees with your knowing. This is a personal cultivation and you never have to share this with anyone if that's your wish. Operate in your highest and best, and respect others. Everything else should be gravy from there.

Check out my last audio “TAROT 101” to understand why discernment in our lives is so important!

All credit to my teacher, Lindsay Mack (IG@wildsoulhealing), who put it in the best words for me to understand this relationship between brain and spirit.
