The Ryze
The Ryze Radio is a resources to listen to DJ mixes and conversations with creatives. The mixes will be filled music I've been bumping and the conversations will center around my guests' creative process and their journey.
The final mix of the season! This one is very special to me as it is comprised of songs I have made over the past 3 years I have been making music. The set is also a live set as it incorporates the use of my Roland TR-6S which allows me to play beats and riff off the songs I play through my board. Lastly, this mix also has some of the songs off my upcoming EP "Idealyze"!
It took my the last 20 weeks to build up the courage to record this and share it with y'all but I am grateful I was able to do something that I know is meaningful.

However, throughout the last few years I have gotten to know her on a more personally level and in his episode we talk about her journey as a Youtuber, architect and how through these creative interests, she has developed a new perspective on life and a deep connection with the environment!

On this episode of The Process we have a very dear friend of mine and no one that I would want more to kick of this season, Sophia Bacino!
She is a singer, songwriter, musician and an all around creative who sees herself as a vessel for the ideas and stories that inspire her music. She is a storyteller at heart and believes that everyone has the potential to be creative. By bringing people together through music, she hopes to make the world a more creative and connected place.

What's up y'all, This is the last episode of The Ryze Radio: The Process! This episode is a little different than the previous episodes as it is a monologue, not a conversation. Well, I guess it is a conversation with myself.
I wanted this last episode to be one that recapped this szn but more importantly explained who "The Ryze" is and what I am about. I don't typically go into this much detail about my personal philosophy and psychology, but in the efforts of connecting with y'all, I thought this is something I want you to hear. It is very personal but very honest.

This is the last episode of Season 1 of The Ryze Radio mix series Sherwood Tapes. This episode features music I would categorize as a "smooth operator". That slightly downtempo, house music with that plushy kick and melodic elements that gets you steppin from side to side. I kinda veered off that sound later on during the mix, but you get the point.
Thank you to everyone who has supported and listened to the episodes this season. After this episode, there is one more "The Process" episode where I reflect on the season and where I stand as a creative.

I had a lot of fun recording this mix! The objective of this episode was to combine the vibes of two playlists I curate.
The first playlist Contrast, has more bassey, tech house, show me your stank face energy while Ecstasy & Elation has more of a indie dance, crying in the club type energy. I am really proud of both playlists and the vibe I was able to curate and I hope you enjoy hearing them in this mix!
This might be one of my favorite episodes of the season!
As you will find out, I meet Aidan in somewhat of a rather serendipitous way.
Only a few days after meeting him, we filmed this episode, and listening back to the recording I'm delighted to see how much we were able to connect and dive into meaningful conversation. Aidan was someone who showed a very strong sense of self and I'm glad I was able to have this conversation with him.
In this episode, we talk about Aidan's journey as a filmmaker and the decisions he had to make to get where he is today. He has such a fascinating story and I hope you enjoy this episode of The Ryze Radio as much as I did facilitating it!

In this episode of The Process, I have my two good friends, creative sparring partners and well-rounded individuals Jack "dez" Deignan and Preju Kanuparthy.
We talk about our journeys, treating creativity as a holistic experience and questioning the idea of following your passions and the consequences it has on your lifestyle.
Both of them in their own right have excelled in their creative endeavors. Preju, a prolific photographer, videographer, creative director and entrepreneur. Dez, a creative spirit and writer honing his craft in different genres all while discovering deeper truths about himself.
