We sat down with Remi Abrahams. What a great hour! It was awesome to chat to someone who has done so much over a such a short space of time.
Just to tell you a little about Remi, he started out as an intern at Triggerfish Animation Studios in 2006 working as a character designer, concept artist, storyboard artist, 3D modeler, Animator and Licencing artist until February 2013. He has since worked in the concept art and digital illustration field for mobile apps and online gaming.

Noemykiki is a passionate young illustrator. Perhaps what would even better describe her is equal parts car lover to equal parts illustration lover. She is currently studying game design and perhaps you can see how this occasionally influences her art. It will be great to see how her art evolves as she evolves.
Tafadzwa Eddie Shumba aka TS Zombie is a manga/comic artist from Zimbabwe specialising in drawing comics with a darker tone. The type of dark themes one may find in horror, thriller, mystery and crime graphic novels. Mixed into his horror-themed projects, you will also find a flare of dramatic storytelling.
He is behind the psychological thriller manga titled PARADOX, the revenge thriller graphic novel titled Cold Front and the sci-fi series Tarantula. Really awesome art, really on the edge of your seat storytelling.
We loved hearing about his journey as an artist and what a straight up cool guy.

We had a really great sit down with aspiring concept artist Natasha Rossouw. She specialises in portrait painting, character illustration and environments. What we really loved about her work is that it leaned into darker topics and themes.

Comic Con Continues....
We have to apologise for being so quiet but life, family and careers can get complicated. So, we can only say sorry and here is our episode with Kyle Jaantjies.
Kyle is a self published author from Mitchells Plain. We spoke to him about his published fantasy/fictional series titled Journey of the Soul. What an interesting and insightful human.. we spent so much time after this interview discussing his writing process and how 'method' he is in his writing.

Another great episode straight out of comic con. Tao Art is such an incredible artist so full of energy. She is so exciting to chat to and her energy radiates out to the world.
Tao Art is young freelance artist/ illustrator working and studying in Johannesburg. Her portfolio consists of a variety of original art and fan art.
Another podcast live from Comic Con. In this episode, we got the opportunity to speak to Naledi Ramphele the creator of Antares, The Spectre. It was really great to hear about his process and how much he learnt from the struggles to get to the successes he has now.
Another great episode straight out of Comic Con Cape Town. Estelle is a Fine Artist and Lecturer based in Johannesburg. Her work is captivating and draws inspiration from comic books and traditional illustration, with references of science fiction and fantasy themes.
Estelle is incredibly down-to-earth and it was so easy to have a great conversation with her. Thanks Estelle for brightening up our day with this interview.

Sometimes boredom is a good thing. If you use that time correctly you can really push your creativity and you never know what could come of it. Elon did.
How do you design for yourself? I still ask myself that everyday. I think most designers, creatives, artists do. If the possibilities are endless. If you're your biggest critique. You are both client and designer. This can be one of the hardest parts of designing for yourself. There is that lack of a second pair of eyes and a reassurance that someone else sees the design as it is. There is no exchange of money. The transaction does not seem concrete. No critiquing eyes.
In this episode, we chat about the tiny wins. Some wins are big but we need to also remember the small ones. The small make up the big and let's not forget that these are the real moments that make life worthwhile.
