Jerome Powell was at it again and shook the stock market after an initial upswing when a 0.75 basis point rate hike was announced.
Powell's comments from the follow-up press conference did not mention any easing off of stepping back to assess the economy after a slew of rate hikes in 2022.
Leaving the door open for another 0.75-point interest rate hike in December.
The stock market did not like that, immediately selling off once the hawkish stance was confirmed.
