She was able to survive the holocaust in ways you could never imagine. After many years of hardship, she was able to find peace, love and wealth of all forms.
Her endurance, persistence and gentleness are an inspiration.

**Barbara has lived such an interesting life. Married three times, was a nurse and healer through the AIDS crisis, and ventured out on her own in an orange Karmann Ghia convertible!
I admire her open heart, compassion for others, willingness to grow spiritually and share her knowledge with others.

By the time your hearing this episode, Ethel is at least 97, as all of these interviews took place before the pandemic.
Ethel is a marvel to me. She had a rich life of family, work and travel. I met a few of her younger family members while there - it was heartening to see her with family and cracking sarcastic jokes. And her direct and SUPER dry nature - I just love it.
She knew what she wanted and she made it happen. I appreciate her conviction.
