Welcome to the OKC Reformed Presbyterian Church! We confess and believe with the Psalmist that the Lord of hosts is with us and the God of Jacob is our refuge! We pray specifically that Jesus Christ would be spiritually present with us as we partake of the sacrament of the Lord's Supper by faith!

One of the great gospel comforts in Scripture is that God remembers. In Genesis 8:1, we read that God remembered Noah, and this remembering of the Lord becomes a consistent theme throughout the Old Testament Scripture, seen notable in Psalm 8 and Psalm 9, the text for this sermon. In times of trouble and peril, the people of God can find comfort in the God who remembers.

One of the characteristics of the church on this earth is that it will suffer persecution. Acts 7:54-60 grants great encouragement and assurance to the church to help it endure persecution by the grace of the Holy Spirit.
Be Assured Persecution is Normal
Be Assured of Christ’s Victory in Persecution
Be Assured of Christ’s Reception
Throughout Stephen’s sermon in Acts 7 he develops the argument that the Jews are the true blasphemers of God. They have followed in the tradition of their fathers as they rejected the prophets. That blasphemy reached its climax in their rejection of Jesus Christ as the Messiah. Stephen presents a serious warning to those who are rebellious and unconverted of their coming judgment and Luke reminds us that there is always cause for hope in Jesus Christ.
In Psalm 8, David encourages us to praise the Lord for out of the mouths of babes and nursing infants He has ordained strength to silence the enemies. God frequently uses the weak things of this world to confound the wise, and such use should motivate us to praise Him!

As we prepare for a day of fasting and prayer, we must know the type of fasting that the Lord is pleased to bless. We note from Isaiah 58 that the Lord delights in those who fast to loose the bonds of wickedness and feed the souls of the hungry. Such a fast the Lord will bless by being the Guide, Satisfaction, and Strength of His people.
With all the discussion about identity today, Christians need to understand that their identity is distinct from the world. Even as Stephen’s face shone as an angel, so those bought by Christ’s blood and indwelt by the Spirit are to be distinct. They are to be distinct by:
In Psalm 7, David is experiencing the injustice, persecution, and slander of a wicked man. His response to such adversity is to trust in his God, who is a judge and a defense. During the life of Jesus, He endured many similar attacks. He was falsely accused and persecuted at the hands of many different men. He endured such to procure for us the mercy of the Lord. Psalm 7 teaches us that we can trust in the Lord when injustice would overwhelm us because our defense is of God. It is a defense Christ earned for us on the cross, even as He Himself would cry out the words of this Psalm.
Welcome to the OKC Reformed Presbyterian Church! We come together this Lord’s Day knowing that the Lord has declared that we are His holy people. Let us worship our God and refresh ourselves in His righteousness as we partake of the Lord’s Supper.

Isaiah 2:5-22 speaks about God’s judgment about the pride of man over and against the authority and light of God’s word. But God in His grace calls out to people to come and walk in His light! As we prepare to observe the Lord’s Supper next week, let us hear this call to reject all trust in man and to come and walk in the light of the Lord.
In Acts 6, we note how the apostles, as the official ambassadors of Christ, create the office of deacon. We note the necessity of this office for the proper and healthy functioning of the church, the qualifications for this office, as well as the calling of every member of the body of Christ to service in the church.
In Psalm 6, David in a time of both bodily and spiritual affliction wrestles with understanding the character of God during affliction. This Psalm teaches us that in times of trial, we should seek the Lord in prayer, bringing our earnest and honest petitions to Him, but we should pray to Him as the God of all mercies and be confident that He hears our prayers for the sake of Christ.
Welcome to the OKC Reformed Presbyterian Church! Let us come to the Lord’s house shouting for joy to the God who defends His people and surrounds them with favor as with a shield!

God chooses God’s people according to God’s plan. And because God is good and He does good, His plan is good and His people He will make good.
Welcome to the OKC Reformed Presbyterian Church! We gather this morning rejoicing in God’s great goodness to us. He has washed us from our sins by His broken body and shed blood. Rejoice with us today!

As we prepare to celebrate the Lord’s Supper next Sunday, let us prepare our hearts by recognizing our sin and coming to Christ.
As the church militant, we must not simply be on guard against attacks from outside the church, but we must also be on guard against attacks from inside the church. We must stand guard against sin and Satan by having a godly fear.
Welcome to the OKC Reformed Presbyterian Church! This sermon by Bruce Parnell was preached at the installation service for Stephen Mulder.
True rest is found in the Lord alone. He it is that gives us gladness that far exceeds the joy of food and drink for He, in His mercy and compassion, makes us dwell in safety. Let end our day remembering the goodness of the Lord.
Welcome to the OKC Reformed Presbyterian Church! The Lord is holy, holy, holy and we in reverence come and worship Him this morning!

There is concern and fear about the name of Jesus Christ, but there is only one name under heaven given to men, whereby they might be saved. That name is the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We must cultivate a godly concern about that name as we live in a culture that despises the exclusivity of salvation being found in that name.
Welcome to the OKC Reformed Presbyterian Church! Let us come with joy and gladness to the worship of our great God! We are excited to welcome Pastor Steve Rockhill to preach for us this Lord’s Day. Pastor Rockhill is pastor of Living Way RPC in Bryan, Texas.
There are many fears that can hinder our ability to serve the Lord faithfully, but starting our day with the Lord rightly orients our thoughts, desires, and actions to His service. Let us strive to begin each day in prayer, remembering the Lord is our salvation!

As we prepare to come to the Lord’s Table next week and celebrate Communion, we must be doing that spiritual work of purging the old leaven from our lives. We purge the old leaven, knowing that Christ is our Passover sacrifice.
Those who have received much mercy, must in turn be merciful people. We who were once lost must have a profound love for those who are still lost. That love ought to show itself in a desire to speak of Jesus Christ to those who do not know Him.
The church will experience persecution and that persecution can lead to discouragement. But Psalm 2 is a Psalm that should encourage the people of God for it reminds us that we have a King who reigns over all.
The church is the gathering of those who confess Jesus Christ. Our confession of Jesus Christ must show itself in a submission to apostolic doctrine, fervent fellowship, and prayer and praise.
“I am the living bread which came down from heaven. If anyone eats of this bread, he will live forever; and the bread that I shall give is My flesh, which I shall give for the life of the world.”

After Peter preaches, he calls the people to respond to the preaching by repenting and being baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins. The Lord promises abundant blessing to those who call upon His name and respond in faith to the preaching.
The person is happy who delights in God’s law. Let us resolve, by the grace of God, to delight in the word of God.
One of the central duties of the church is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ. This duty is demonstrated in Peter preaching repentance and faith in Christ from the Scriptures.
The church must, by the power of the Holy Spirit, proclaim the gospel which is for all peoples of the earth.
The disciples believe that God’s Word is authoritative and submit themselves to that word. Let us as a church be a people under the authority of God’s Word.
Christ is the blessing in whom all nations of the earth will rejoice. Let us pray that Christ would bless His church so that they would be a blessing to all peoples, and He would be worshiped.
