Many times it feels that we are not living our own life, as if we are imitating and living someone else’s life. Our expressions doesn’t seem to be our own, may be unconsciously or under certain influence we start to live, behave and express in-authentically. There is a beautiful story Sri Anish shares in this talk to show how we must all live our own authentic expression. An apple cannot become a banana, no matter how hard it tries. And the beauty of an apple is in being an authentic apple. This is one profound lesson which once understood and applied, can change our life forever.

"Unmindful listening = Not listening"
One of the most fundamental things in any relationship is open, honest and heartfelt communication. Communication is not about how you speak, but, rather, about how you listen. Listening here means being attentive, authentic and non-judgmental. So reflect on your own life and see are you missing this authentic 'Art of Listening'.

We have got it wrong from the times of Charles Darwin that it is ‘Survival of the fittest’, No, in nature, every species make sure that other species survive, no species try to extinguish the other species because they know that their own survival depend on the survival of all other species. So, it is always ‘Survival of the Kindest’. We need to current this law. Similarly, Jealousy & Anger is not our true nature, rather, Love & Compassion is our true nature. In this short video, Sri Anish shares some powerful sutras with us and also points out that, wherever we pour our attention, that thing/feeling/emotion/reality starts to grow in our experience. A truly must watch video.
Teachings of higher masters & messages of awakened beings are very cryptic and holds immense secrets in every word. Sri Guru Arjan Dev ji is as epitome of love, compassion, surrender and deepest bhakti. When he was being tortured by the Mughal emperor and was about to be killed, even at that painful moment, he uttered these nectar filled words of acceptance of divine's will, he said 'Tera Kita Meetha Lage', meaning, whatever you do is the sweetest thing to me, I accept it all as your divine will and so it becomes like a great gift for me. Such is the state of these pure beings.
From the start of human civilization, we are trying to figure out what is good and what is bad, something which is considered evil in one society could be considered good in another society. So, what is the existential parameter or definition of good & evil, how should we define it and conduct our lives for our highest awakening? In this short video, Sri Anish points out some fundamental parameters which can help us clear the fog over this perennial question.
Most of us in India have heard this term in our childhood 'Tan Man Dhan', what does it really mean? Is there a hidden secret in this word? Let's explore with Sri Anish, the richness of our Indian culture & tradition and see how deep insights were build into day to day slangs.
Teachings of higher masters & messages of awakened beings like Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji are very cryptic and holds immense secrets in every word. One such deeply profound mantra that Guru Nanak ji shared with the world is 'Mool Mantra'. Every word of it needs to be decoded to get to its deepest essence. Mool Mantra holds the entire spiritual truth & life's wisdom in its womb. Something so simple, direct & heart awakening is a true gift to humanity. Wahe Guru.
In This short video Sri Anish talks about the real meaning of the Mool Mantra 'Ek Onkar Satnaam'.
I often hear people say that it is very difficult to find a true guru, and I say, is it really that difficult? Finding a guru is a matter of the heart. Who tells a honey bee where to go and find the right flower full of nectar? Well nobody. She has this inner wisdom to know, to follow and to reach the right flower. Similarly, we all too have an inner wisdom of the heart, which can guide us towards the right guru, but we often get trapped in the extensive reasoning of our logical mind. Well, mind is very important but not in matters of the heart. And finding a guru or feeling deep connectedness with a being is really a matter of the heart.
Sri Guru Nanak ji is one of the most beautiful and simple enlightened being who blessed this earth. Each word that he spoke and every teaching that he imparted continues to enrich the thirsty soul of millions of seekers even to this day. His love, simplicity, compassion & profundity is a unique divine nectar. In this short dialogue, Sri Anish shares some touching insights of Guru Nanak's words.
It is not that we do not know the truth or reality of life, we all know it, but our issues is forgetfulness. That is why Guru Nanak ji gave so much importance to the art of ‘remembrance’. All his teachings & techniques are towards one goal itself, which is, somehow we dwell in this divine remembrance all the time. This is moksha, nirvana, enlightenment or ultimate liberation. For example, there is not even a single person on earth who does not know the reality of death, but still we go on acquiring, possessing, struggling for name fame etc. when we know that all of this will be left behind, but we often forget about this reality and in that forgetfulness we keep running around to chase peace & happiness in the world outside. Nanak ji says, Naam Japo, remember ‘the divine will’ all the time and remember that you are just a tool in god’s hand. Remembrance is the ultimate key which will open the door to the divine.
Guru Nanak dev ji through his numerous shabads, teachings and actions, built a strong foundation for a ‘culture of sharing’. Usually our life revolves around ‘I, Me & Myself’, which is an illusionary construct called ego, which makes us disconnected from everyone around. To break this illusion, one needs to step outside oneself and remove this veil of separation. Sharing becomes a very subtle yet powerful technique to break this illusion. Because when we share something with others, a bridge, a connection, a sense of oneness starts to get established. Love, compassion & empathy starts to take root in one’s heart and slowly we start to move towards the ultimate reality of ‘Ik Onkar’. In this beautiful dialogues, Sri Anish shares insights & pointers towards this profound teaching of Guru Sahib on ‘Vand Chhako’.

Sri Anish in a recent dialogues with seeker friends, shared the secret of self-acceptance – which he revealed is the way to evolve out of our current struggle in dealing with such issues.
In life most of us are trying, wanting & struggling to be the first, to be the best, to be accepted, loved & respected. And this struggle doesn’t allow us to enjoy what we are doing, it doesn’t allow us to be happy and content. Jesus says, the firsts will be last and lasts will be first. "Learn to observe, and in that observation the magic of life will reveal itself to you!" Sri Anish narrating a beautiful story from Buddha's teachings.
Jesus was born in a stable where animals were kept and there is great relevance of this story for every human being. Sri Anish shares that when a child is born, he is very instinctive, he only relies on his sensory behavior and that's how animals also operate. There is consciousness in every child but that is yet to be awakened. Sri Anish explains that every child has the possibility of reaching the highest consciousness.
Sri Anish talks about corruption in human mind. How a small suggestion gets converted into attachments and false image. These attachments then stop us from being free and find our true self. Jesus calls these attachments as entanglements and evil affections.
We all need to evolve in life and we want to make progress in our spiritual journey too. But, what are some of the most important attributes that we need to cultivate in order to make sure that our journey's progress is seamless? This short video can help you identify right attributes (gunas) to cultivate in your day to day life.
Sri Anish talks about how should we cultivate the spiritual ground in our hearts. He explains that a person is very receptive during childhood and forgets that nature while growing up. A Child has the capacity to laugh which makes him look at the world with wonder and be amazed. We all have the capacity to be more like a child.
Parables are part of every spiritual tradition and they are life changing. Here, Sri Anish shares two very beautiful parables with us, one from the life of Jesus and another from the Upanishads. Listen to these and feel the profound message hidden in them.
Jesus says, Ask and it shall be given to you, is it so? Does it really work that way? In this short video (5 mins.) Sri Anish shares a few Mustard Seeds with us on this profound question.
You get what you give, this is one of the Dharma – a natural law. Listen to this powerful story to understand this secret. Sri Anish in this short video parable shares this eternal law with us. Our life can be totally transformed if we imbibe this understanding, this ancient philosophy in our lives. Each of our thought, word & action will be transformed by adhering to this simple law.

In our series on ‘Leadership Awakening’, in March 22, we had the privilege of hosting yet another powerful round table discussion, where corporate leaders and distinguished academicians came together to share their wisdom on building an eco-system that nurtures and cultivates ‘Critical Capabilities needed in the new Yuga’. We were honored by the presence of an exceptional panel of speakers - Dr. Tanuja Sharma (MDI), Dr Virendra P Singh (Ex-advisor Patanjali), Sh. Sahil Nayar (KPMG) and Prof (Dr.) Sanjay Srivastava (Manav Rachna University) in this very engaging and inspiring discussion curated and moderated by Sri Anish. This event was organized by Saadho Sangha Foundation in collaboration with GPR, Our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. GP Rao for his continuous guidance towards this event series on ‘Leadership Awakening’.
‘Survival of the Fittest’ - Have we taken this phrase too literally and implemented it in every sphere of our life? Business is not a war zone, but somehow our perception, narrative and language is such that we are treating our ‘Karma shetra’ (professional world) as ‘Yudha shetra’ (battle field). This creates a lot of unwanted uneasiness, stress, anxiety, repulsion & sometimes even rivalry in our work places. Now, top it up with the ongoing pandemic and we have a perfect recipe for scenarios like ‘the great resignation’. Though, many organizations have started focusing on employee’s mental well-being but maybe we need to look at this issue and the philosophy which is at the root of it more deeply. In this round-table discussion, we explored, that perhaps, it is ‘Survival of the kindest & not the fittest’ which is the law of nature and should be at the core of all our business undertakings. We interacted with top industry leaders and got their perspective on this emerging issue, which can help us transition through this ‘new normal’. Some of the points we discussed: - What is the core agenda of a business - Why have we created businesses which feels more like a battle field – including our language i.e. let’s kill the competition, price war etc. - What is the impact of this ‘philosophy – survival of the fittest’ on the health and mental well-being of the employees and overall health of the planet - What is the role of leadership in creating a more sustainable perspective – Survival of the kindest - Will it work - Practical examples of organization that are guided by this principal of – Survival of the kindest
At this time in human history, when we are going through a massive transition, India has a unique advantage to lead and show the path to the world. India is the oldest living civilization in the world and is also one of the youngest countries in the world. 22% of India's population is Youth, and that is 261 million youth (more than the population of Pakistan). It is extremely important that we recognize, create programs, give direction, make policies, and bring our ancient spiritual wisdom to empower the youth to create a global consciousness. Listen to Sri Anish's podcast on empowering our youth with our spiritual heritage.
On Sunday, 7th Nov 2021, Saadho Sangha Foundation and GPR had the privilege of hosting our 3rd Leadership Round Table Discussion on Emotional Resilience - in our series of 'Creating Awakened Leadership'. We were honored by the presence of our esteemed panelists; Mr. Ranjan Mohapatra, Dr. Shalini Lal, and Dr. Chandrashekhar Sripada. Sri Anish set the context with 4 enlightening stories and moderated the discussion and Dr.GP Rao very craftily introduced all the speakers in his signature style. The deep engagement from all participants was evident by a huge number of questions and appreciative comments. In this enriching session, we discussed the need for more awakened leaders to deal with the constantly changing reality as we are entering into a new Yuga of corporate life. Our honorable Panelists enlightened us with some inspiring stories and experiences from their personal and professional life, along with some practical tips and best practices on developing Emotional Resilience as part of organizational culture and personal evolution. Among so many important learnings, one was how to transform the energy of negative emotions into positive ones. The insights that came out of this session are so rich that we could not resist sharing them with the larger community.
In this power packed discussion with Shivi Verma, the editor of Life Positive magazine, Sri Anish talks about his Vision for New Humanity and all that it involves, and shares his views on whether India should become a 'Vishwaguru', whether spiritual upliftment is possible amidst the huge degradation of values in our modern society & rampant corruption, and finally, can Swami Vivekananda be re-created in today's times?
Listen to this power pack discussion between Sri Anish - a spiritual teacher, humanitarian, mentor & visionary, and top industry leaders including P. Dwarakanath - Former Chairman GSK Consumer Healthcare, Rajkamal Vempati – CHRO Axis Bank, Dr. C. Jayakumar – CHRO L&T Ltd., Dr. Alka Mittal – Director HR ONGC, V.C. Agrawal – President Corp HR Sanjiv Goenka Group, R. Anand – Author & Advisor HR, on the need to create more compassionate leaders for creating humane & value driven organizations. Corporate India is surely transforming.
Many of us think compassion to be a soft emotion which cannot be practiced in the practical world, but contrary to that, compassion emerges from a very strong and stable space within ourself. In this revolutionary podcast, Sri Anish shares 7 key truths about compassion.
Stories are an integral part of India's learning culture and many times stories are able to convey deeper truths much more easily than any other format. Here is a beautiful story, narrated by Sri Anish to convey the true meaning of 'self-knowing' and the concept of 'nothingness'.
