Men's health and supporting men better in modern society is an enormous challenge. Men are much more likely to take their own lives and suffer physical and mental illness, and yet are receiving little attention from the mainstream narrative at present.
However, the narrative is slowly becoming more balanced and I was delighted to dive into this huge topic with Men's Health and Mental Health specialist, Rae Bonney.
In today's conversation, we discover:
• What the current narrative around Men's health and masculinity is
• The common mental health challenges experienced by men
• The importance of getting the balance right between IQ, EQ and AQ
• How we can start to change the narrative
• Why Rae is so passionate about raising boys in a balanced way

Have you or anyone you know suffered from miscarriage?
This devastating loss occurs in approximately 1 out of every 4 pregnancies, so it’s much more common than you might think. And yet, the way it is dealt with by the medical community and workplaces is generally clinical and practical, leaving the couple to deal with the emotional fallout unsupported and alone.
Samantha Payne, Founder & CEO of charity Pink Elephants Support Network takes us through her own experiences of multiple miscarriages in the Australian healthcare system and how she courageously set up the Pink Elephant Support Network to help families receive the care and emotional support that she wished she had received when she needed it.

But that has come at a massive price, where men are unable to be able to show vulnerability or have any outlet for expressing the multitude of feelings that they feel. This important interview with David Pointon tells a fascinating story of how he joined a group of men in order to have a safe space to share the things that are happening in their lives, and how that is now growing into a national movement, with groups all around Australia.
You will learn:
