Northwestern Undergraduate Research Journal (NURJ)
The Northwestern Undergraduate Research Journal (NURJ) is an annual student-produced journal that showcases outstanding research done by Northwestern undergraduates from across all academic fields. In NURJ Talks, we invite accomplished individuals in the Northwestern community and beyond to discuss contemporary issues.
This is the first episode of NURJ Talks starting a new series, "Pioneers of Medical Research," highlighting undergraduates in medical research. This series is part of the podcast’s mission to expand knowledge of the research community by exploring all facets of research. Gabe Dara, a third-year pre-medical student at Northwestern University, discusses his experience in neuroscience research and science education at his startup, Caped Clinicians.

This is the fourth episode of NURJ Talks, starting a mini-series highlighting women in research. Today, we have our guest Onnie Rogers, a psychology researcher and professor here at Northwestern University. In this episode, she not only shares her past and present research projects but also provides insight into how research has influenced her life.

This is the second episode of NURJ Talks in a series called Voices of Diversity, where we invite guest artists from the BIPOC community. This series is part of the 1851 Project, a publication we started last June to amplify the voices of historically underrepresented communities. Today we have our guest artist Martin Luther Clark, an opera singer from the Lyric Opera of Chicago. In this episode, he shares his insights on the role of opera in today's society and the importance of diversity in the arts.
