Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you The Red Pegasus Podcast's 15th guest!

Today, we welcome our mate Tom Boyce to the show. Tom is the founder and owner of London Calling TX: a vintage soccer merchandise business. The store is located inside of Crossbar Soccer + Beer in Richardson, Texas, where he is also a co-owner.

Throughout episode 96, Tom begins by sharing his story of being born and raised in London, England and how he made it to his side of the pond nine years ago. Tom is a British, Texan through and through. Not only can you tell in his exuberant and genuine personality, but also in his magnificent and no-filtered accent. He is a man of the people and he is truly a gift to the community and beyond.

One of the main reasons Crossbar is a special place, is because of London Calling TX sitting right inside of it. Since 2017, LCTX has been serving the globe with coveted vintage soccer gear that stands the test of time. It is completely inspired by London, but with a Texas Twang, just like Tom and his wife, who have a bold, eye for design and extensive knowledge of the beautiful game.

From the 1980's to the 2000's, you can find soccer (or football) jerseys from the English Premier League, La Liga, as well as the MLS. Even though Tom can't stand the MLS. It's a brand for the "propa football fan", so come on by to Crossbar in Richardson and "have a look, mate!"

Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you The Red Pegasus Podcast's 12th guest!

Today we welcome Nick Metzger to the show. Nick was born and raised in Louisiana, but has been in DFW since 2002. He started Metzger Vintage Audio at the beginning of 2021 and buys, sells and repairs vintage audio pieces. Beyond that, his storefront is open to the public Tuesday through Sunday and sells vinyl, cables, cartridges, books, and t-shirts!

Throughout episode 78, Nick and the guys discuss the ins and outs of vintage audio. Not only do you get an audio tour of the store, but Nick will talk about some of the items that come in and through his shop! He has a tech for just about anything audio related, so if you or your grandpa have an old piece sitting around, collecting dust, then bring it on by!

Nick shares a funny story about one time when he met Leon Bridges while working at Spinster Records in Oak Cliff. That job not only solidified his love for music, but it catapulted him as a mainstay in the audio world. If you don't already, get to know him and his incredible small business just north of Dallas!

Beyond vintage audio, Nick takes the guys on a stroll into his love for jazz music. He gives a few "recs" into who to listen to and even how he listens to them. Believe it or not, there are a plethora of different ways to listen to your favorite tunes that may have since been forgotten. Until you meet Metzger Vintage Audio.

Speaking of stories, Preston shares about a trip he took to England where he got to see his favorite team, Liverpool play live. Also, while there, he had the joy and pleasure of seeing the head coach, Jürgen Klopp. When people say soccer is nearly a religion in the United Kingdom, they aren't joking.

How about a food taste test with some Philly Cheesesteaks?! You got it here.

In episode 51, the guys jump into a food and drink taste taste that not only blessed our stomachs, but will also bless yours. Fred's Downtown Philly and Happy Dad Hard Seltzers were extremely scrumptious. Get them in your mouths ASAP.

Then, the guys dive into the "Being Texan" book by Texas Monthly, yes, finally. A little lesson on the history of Texas and the birth of Texas pride goes a long way, so you've got to listen in. You read that right, in episode 50, the guys take "bracketology" to new heights with the top 16 Texas cities. Forget about college basketball, Texas is more important! There will be a little bit of sports talk, but it's only all about Luka, as it should be.

Do you have a girl/guy trait? If so, share it in the comments on social! Wait until you hear what the guys have to say. Then, (no it was not forgotten) it's Spring Break. That's right, in episode 49, the guys get together to play a game of Marry, Date, Kill. Ladies and gentlemen, we present to you The Red Pegasus Podcast's fifth guest!

Throughout our series of guests, we welcome Seth Block to the show. Seth was born in Philadelphia, moved to Dallas in 1993 and has been here ever since. He is our podcast's self-titled, "Dallas' influencer of good vibes".

Seth has been heavily active in the local nonprofit scene for a few years now. Not only is he involved in good works in and around the DFW area, but he also is an incredible person and it is shown throughout this conversation. Just follow his Instagram account or check out the numerous organizations (all listed below) he has served in or is currently a part of.

Throughout episode 48, Seth and the guys discuss how the average person can get involved in volunteering along with a few local places to start. He shares a fantastic story of how he ended up being "voluntold" to run in an Ironman relay down in Waco for an event benefiting Refugee Services of Texas.

Speaking of stories, for the first time ever, Seth opens up about the time he served unaccompanied migrant minors at an emergency shelter. They were underserved and oftentimes felt imprisoned here in Dallas nearly a year ago. Seth would share that an ambulance would frequently show up to take a child to the hospital and the food they were served was horrid, so bad that the people employed at the facility, were having their own food delivered to them. This is just a few things that turned the sickening story into major news. That was just the beginning of the story of how Seth and other volunteers attempted to improve conditions within the shelter and advocate for the kids.

(Disclaimer: None of the organizations Seth is, or has been, a part of were involved in the operations or conditions at the emergency shelter for unaccompanied migrant minors.)

It's an episode you will not want to miss. Also, go support Seth's efforts at Union Coffee with their monthly "Shot of Generosity". 15% of sales will go to supporting a specific nonprofit this Saturday, February 26th!

We're baaaaack. Did you miss us!? Happy New Year(s?) from yours truly.

No need to worry, even though it is a new year, it's still the same podcast. In the 43rd edition of the show, the guys talk about what all happened over the holidays including a downtown Dallas photoshoot with one of our guys, Chris Ablaza (IG: cablaza).

With the new year, usually comes new year's resolutions. Yeah, that's right, the guys present a running list of actually achievable goals for any kind of person. They'll go over some of the 60 options that stuck out to them and then they'll share some of their own if they have any at all.

In sports news, the Dallas Mavericks legend, Dirk Nowitzki, had his jersey retired and lifted into the rafters. It was a magnificent ceremony that even included an unveiling of the statue that will be made and presented outside of the American Airlines Center. It seemed a little odd though didn't it? First of all, we hope everyone made it out of the 'Texas blizzard' well, safe and warm. What a wild week it has been to say the least, so we hope you'll give this a listen and laugh a little.

In episode 3, Martin tells us an ice story for the ages that happened to him a few years back. The guys discuss a couple of funny headlines in the news, and lastly, we'll discuss some unpopular opinions of Dallas that have surfaced via Dallas Love List's Instagram account.

The start of something new is officially upon us all. We hope you'll fly with us on this adventure.

In the premier episode of The Red Pegasus Podcast, you'll get to know hosts Martin and Darien and their relationship over the years. We'll break down why this podcast is here and a little history behind the mythical red flying horse. We'll also discuss some big game coming up this weekend, the ridiculously expensive commercials that come with it, as well as the (always headlined) halftime show.

We hope you'll stay awhile and (hopefully) be entertained. Here's to many more episodes.
