I'm back with my podcast BlablaLara!

Phewww, what a quarter... now we are back with a special guest for the series "BRAZIL POWER", where I interview Brazilians (like me) who moved abroad. Today we Have Anna Flavia Morbeck. my friend from Goiania since ever! From Brazil to Sweden and Italy, Anna followed a path that probably no one ever tried... play now and find out more about this story!

Anna Flavia Morbeck is a Brazilian/Italian who moved to Sweden in 2015 to pursuit her dreams. She always loved the cold and the idea of a country that has gender equality and where women are respected. In the beginning, as a kindergarten teacher, she struggled a bit with a language barrier (even though 100% of the country speaks English) and opportunities for an immigrant, but she did it! After 3 years she decided for a change in her career, where she became a Master Makeup Artist. Traveling as her biggest hobby, she traveled more than 30 countries.

The first guest of Blablalara is Tisha Raj - very very special guest! She is originally from Malaysia and currently lives in Canada. I met her in Argentina and she visited me in L.A. once. Very international story. Check it out!

"Tisha Raj migrated from tropical Malaysia to the prairies of Alberta, Canada in 2008. Having lived in the city of Edmonton for almost 13 years, she has come to love the mountains but naturally still yearns for the ocean.

Migrating as a young adult, Tisha had to navigate the perils of making new friends, finding a new career path and discovering a new sense of identity as a first generation immigrant to Canada.

As a graduate of MacEwan University majoring in Sociology with a minor in Political Science, Tisha has had the amazing opportunity to work in various non for profit organizations; advocating for post secondary students, engaging community in local human rights issues as a community educator & facilitator and currently as a member advisor assisting international medical graduates on their pathway to licensure or alternative careers in healthcare.

She has a deep learning for sustainability and conservation in addition to the intersectionality of race, gender & immigration. In her spare time she loves to rejuvenate during her travels around the globe and across Canada."
