Down to Earth Apparel was founded by Jose Mireles, a 23 yr old student studying Graphic Design in Florida. My testimony nothing special, I grew up in an all Christian family, told to study the word, pray, and give thanks every day, something to this day I still struggle with. In my late teens, and early twenties I put Jesus in the backseat, I felt I could make my own decisions, drive myself to what I needed and everything would go the way I planned it; needless to say it never went the way I saw fit.

Every couple months when my mom would get a word in she would always remind me of one of her favorite verses growing up, Proverbs 22:6. It reads "Train a child in the way he should go, and when he is old he will not turn from it". Any time I'd hear it I'd shrug it off and continue my day but I'd always remember those words, that verse and how it felt as if it had a special connection with me. In the end it did, it took a lot of painful mistakes to finally realize that the whole time I had the privilege of knowing God this whole time, never did I have to turn from him, I was blessed from the beginning. Like the prodigal son I've always had a home in God and am always welcome as we all are. To come back to the Lord was and is personally something that takes time.

The transition personally is not easy, after spending so much time with my mind outside of church I realized I had to do something that would put me in front of God daily, and placing my passion and talents was what I needed to offer to God to get me back on track. I wanted to give back to my father in heaven so that I could strengthen my relationship with him. After all God has blessed my life with health, friends, family, education and I feel it is my time to give back. I began Down to Earth Apparel; it is not only a clothing company for Christians but for Non-Christians and as a reminder to me and others to stay grounded in his word so that we shall never part.

The Paisable Show welcomes Jeremiah Bonds to the show to talk music, ministry and his anticipated upcoming mixtape. Its going to be a GREAT show.

Jeremiah Bonds is a gifted songwriter and performer who lives his heart-felt lyrics. He started off as a music artist listening to the very company that he would later call home — Syntax Records. The artists he heard such as MaxOne and Othello inspired him, and he sought out the people behind his favorite label in as many concerts as he could.

Since then, Bonds has benefited from both sides of the business, being behind the scenes as well as center stage. He has appeared on the popular compilation series Night Owls, volumes three, four and five. He is also featured on Wages of Syntax, volume two.

The Praisable Show is a bi-weekly podcast that is recorded live on Sundays and is hosted by Praisable Press creator and Quote Christ Radio founder Tony “Quote” Parsons. During the show a different guest is brought on and interviewed and along with the audience discusses a specific topic from a Christian perspective. The show is a relaxed and fun environment for adult Christians to fellowship and laugh.
