Peter reminds believers that each Christian has received a spiritual gift from God. These gifts are meant to be used to serve others faithfully, as stewards of God’s grace in its many forms. Whether one speaks, they should do so as if speaking the very words of God; if one serves, they should serve with the strength God provides. The ultimate purpose is that in everything, God may be glorified through Jesus Christ, to whom belong all glory and power forever.

Revelation 11:1–14 describes John measuring God’s temple, the ministry of the two witnesses who prophesy with power for 3½ years, their death by the beast, the world’s celebration, their miraculous resurrection and ascension, and the ensuing earthquake, ending the second woe before the final trumpet.
Remembering is not just a mental act—it’s a spiritual one. God calls us to remember because He knows it keeps us anchored in Him. It keeps us close. Don’t let life move so fast that you forget how far He’s brought you. Look back, give thanks, and let your faith rise and strengthen again. Worship Him through your obedience and make Him the priority in your life. Remember the Lamb that was slain for your sin, Remember Jesus.
Memorial Day, a day to remember those who gave the ultimate price to be able to keep the freedoms that we share in this country.
Everyday are days to remember what God has done for us especially through His Son Jesus.
In these verses, four angels are seen standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the winds to prevent any harm to the earth, sea, or trees. Another angel appears from the east, carrying the seal of the living God. He tells the four angels not to harm the earth or anything on it until the servants of God have been marked with a seal. This passage emphasizes God's control over judgment and His care for His people, the remnant.
Jesus, the true light, entered the world He created, but many did not recognize or accept Him. However, those who did believe in Him were given the right to become children of God, born spiritually by God's will. Do you believe Him, and do you receive Him?
In Revelation 6:1-2, the scene begins with the opening of the first of the seven seals by the Lamb, representing Jesus Christ. As the seal is opened, one of the four living creatures calls out, inviting the seer to come and witness what follows. A rider on a white horse appears, holding a bow and wearing a crown, symbolizing conquest and victory, but who does this figure represent?
Revelation 4:1-11 describes a vision of God's throne in heaven. John, the author, is invited to witness the scene, where he sees a majestic throne surrounded by twenty-four elders and four living creatures. The throne is radiant, with a brilliant appearance resembling precious stones. The elders, representing the redeemed, worship God, casting their crowns before Him and proclaiming His worthiness to receive glory, honor, and power. This passage emphasizes God's sovereignty, majesty, and the worship that He receives from all of creation. Do you stop and look at God's creation with awe and thank Him for His wonderful creation?
Revelation 2:7–3:22 contains letters from Jesus Christ to seven churches in Asia Minor, offering commendations, warnings, and promises. Each letter concludes with a call for the listener to "hear what the Spirit says to the churches." These letters outline a pattern: commendation for good deeds or faithfulness, rebuke for moral or doctrinal failure, and a promise to the faithful who overcome. Each message stresses the importance of staying true to Christ, avoiding false teachings, and persevering through difficulties. In what ways do these letters reflect our church today?
When Jesus says to go and make disciples, what exactly does that mean?
What does that entail?
Is there a difference between a disciple and a Christian?
Can you be a Christian and not be a disciple?
We seem to have developed in this nation and unbiblical idea that we can be a Christian and not be a disciple. The idea is that we can trust Christ for forgiveness of our sin and be assured of life forever with Jesus after our life on this world is over. Trying to focus on the benefits of receiving Jesus, but not relinquish one's life to follow Jesus. So the view here is that just a Christian does not have to follow Jesus, but that a disciple is one that does follow Jesus. Is there a difference?

For several years now, our vision here at Redbud has been – “A Going Church.” This was in response to the need for the church to realize that we have been sent into the world to make disciples. We gather here for worship, for fellowship, and for equipping. However, our work is out there. We were designed that way, we were gifted for that, we were called to that – out there!
Not all families are the same or have the same experiences. We do not, in most cases, have a choice in the family we grew up in, but this is where we were influenced the most by our opinions on family. In the letter to the Ephesians, Paul gives us fundamentals of family as God intended because it was God who designed the family.

Now if Christ is preached that He has been raised from the dead, how do some among you say that there is no resurrection of the dead? But if there is no resurrection of the dead, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, then our preaching is empty, and your faith is also empty. Yes, and we are found false witnesses of God because we have testified of God that He raised up Christ, whom He did not raise up—if in fact the dead do not rise. For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen. And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins! Then also those who have fallen asleep in Christ have perished. If in this life only we have hope in Christ, we are of all men the most pitiable. But now Christ is risen from the dead and has become the firstfruits of those who have fallen asleep.
The resurrection of Jesus Christ is one part of a three-part message called the Gospel. Without it, the Apostle Paul says Christianity is dealt a devastating blow. Today is Sanctity of Life Sunday. President Reagan set this Sunday aside for the purpose of remembering our commitment to life as a God-given right. God loves all his creation, and when it comes to humanity, every life born and unborn matters to him. You and I do not get to pick and choose who lives and who dies, simply because we say so. People matter to God, they should matter to you!
