Paul looks at how the promises given through Abraham are eternal. The law did not replace the promises to the offspring of Abraham.
Because Jesus was the fulfilment of all the promises given to the offspring of Abraham.
It was always about Jesus and his righteousness. Never by us keeping the law.

In this second and final part of Psalm 1 we look at the wicked.
These are the sinners and scoffers who do not honour God. The ones that do evil in the sight of God.
The wicked are under God’s wrath. The way of the wicked will perish.

In this first part of Psalm 1 we look at “the blessed man”. The one who knows the Lord and follows His ways and shuns the way of the ungodly.
This man (or woman) delights in knowing God’s word and applying it to their life.

Paul's continues his argument that blessing does not come from keeping the law of Moses. In fact, anyone who tries to keep the law and fails in any way is under a curse by God.
Christ took our curse on Himself when He died for our sins upon the cross of Calvary.
Only faith, obedience and trust in the Lord Jesus Christ makes us right with God the Father. Never by the law.
What is the main thing in your life. Family, friends or your car or house?
For the born again Christian it is clear. God will except no excuse.
Jesus has to be the main thing.
Paul continues to show how faith in God is what matters and not works of the flesh.
In verses 6 to 9 Paul uses Abraham as the example of “a man of faith” to prove God always makes someone righteous by faith in Him and never works.
The Lord Jesus Christ was very clear that being His follower was hard, very hard.
In this final part of this study we see what following Jesus really means.
Paul continues to challenge the Christians in Galatia about what gospel they follow. Is it Christ they follow or another false gospel?
Paul starts chapter 3 by calling them “foolish” and asking them if they follow the Holy Spirit or are foolishly going back to the old ways of following works of the law to be saved.
The Lord Jesus Christ was very clear that being His follower was hard, very hard.
This first part of a two part study explores how a person must die to self to be a genuine follower of the Lord.
Paul concludes his message about justification by faith where he talks about being crucified with Christ.
In this 3rd and final part, where Jesus said that he was the way, the truth and the life - we look at Jesus being “the life”.

Here in the first half of Galatians chapter 2, we see the other apostles and Christian leaders in Jerusalem stand in solidarity with Paul regarding his preaching to the Gentiles.
Notably the apostles, Peter, John and James agreed that Paul’s message was the same as theirs. The gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus told his disciples that he was the way, the truth and the life in John 14:6.
In this short study we will look at what Jesus meant when he said this.
In this first part of 3 parts, we will look at what Jesus being “the way” means.
We conclude chapter 1 of Galatians by looking at how Paul started his ministry as an apostle by visiting Peter and James for fellowship.
Then we see Paul going out to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ on his own. Jesus taught him directly, so Paul was a true apostle and needed no human teacher.
Those who heard Paul preach praised God for the change in this man who the Lord changed to live for Christ.
Continuing in our study of Galatians Chapter 1. Paul expands on what he said earlier in the chapter. That this gospel he preaches was given to him by God and no human source.
Paul also reflects on his past of persecuting the church and how God set him apart by grace to reach the gentiles with the gospel.

Paul continues in his letter to the Galatians where he reiterates that there is no other gospel. And declares a curse on anyone who dares to preach another gospel.

Chapter 1, verses 1-5.
Paul faithfully preached the gospel to the people of Galatia. Proclaiming the truth that Jesus Christ died and rose again on the 3rd day. This was to offer salvation and the forgiveness of sins as a gift received through faith. And not earned through good works.
