We all live a life like a dream filled with reality, and few among us create a paradise for the forsaken souls and make them believe in the real meaning of this beautiful and purposeful life.. Sushamita is one such soul, who has not just changed her perspective towards Life, but also created a space and a support system for people who had lost their faith in humanity. She got Vitiligo skin condition at the age of 9,and unlike others she did not let that define herself. She believes in equality and freedom of living a life that you desire for, and nobody should put a tag on how you should lead it. There are different skin conditions, for which there's lot of misconception in people's mind. Today we have with us another skin warrior - Mohammed Khan from Toronto, Canada, who got a skin condition called - Psoriasis in the year 2017. Since than he has tried different treatment and medication to cure it , but gradually he came to a conclusion that it cannot be cured permanently, but can definitely be controlled by following some natural life style and avoiding heavy medications. Today we have with us another Skin-Warrior- Surabhi Jain. She got vitiligo skin condition at the age of 14 yrs. Since than she has been fighting the social scavengers bravely, and she's contributing a great amount of her time in uplifting people's life by encouraging them to live a life which has no boundaries. It's always an honor to have met such brave-hearts. And, I believe, her share of story is going to create a wave of positivity, especially among all the ladies . In few parts of our country ,due to lack of awareness people having Vitiligo skin conditions are treated as untouchable. Also, people fear that it might spread if they come in contact with the person having it. These, and many other absurd believes are still being encouraged in many places in the country. To break this notion we have with us today the Sushi Chef - Siddharth, from Goa. He plans to open up his own restaurant and give opportunity to people who gets rejected due to their look or so called disability to fit in the perfect frame designed by our society. He has served as chef in different parts of India and plans to expand his horizon while breaking the glass of self acceptance. We have become so advanced in terms of technology, but no technology can heal the disrupted human soul. We each have our own share of struggles and discomfort. And, it takes great amount of courage to stand for yourself.But, only when you start believing you true self, you can overcome anything that comes on your way. No matter how challenging or difficult it might seem like, but I encourage you to hold on to yourself, cause nothing is beyond your endurance power!!.. I'm privileged to share the story of - Shahbaaz. A boy from Hyderabad, who's struggling is way through his skin condition. But, I truly believe he's going to set an example for his generation by becoming the person that he believes himself to be. His coming days might get tougher and unbearable, but so would he. We all get to work down the road of despair and hopelessness at some point in our lives. And growing out of it as a strong and humble being is the choice given to all. Rising from dust and breaking the perception of his life- Akash was one such youth who had never known what VITILIGO actually was. This humbling experience with @vitiligo.icon - Faried was one such unexpected turn of events in my life..
He shared his story about the vitiligo skin condition which he got when he was 15yrs old, and how he overcame all the issues which he faced from the society, which in turn made him the person which he's today.
He's not just a Model, and a Vitiligo icon, but also a motivator and a very generous human being, who's vision is to bring the same positivity in other peoples life which he developed in his.
It's been a great honour to speak to him and share his story!!!
