For a long time I've been asking myself is it a curse?
I feel too much and too deep
too many thots I almost can't keep
I'm paradoxical I contradict this society
don't blame me blame these people's variety
I see things that people ignore
always wondering what happened here before
am I depressed? or that's just what I see
the essence of a corrupted humanity
I feel lost like I don't belong here
all these connections soon gonna disappear
as I was created to be destroyed
meeting you was merely an accident that made me overjoyed
now this melancholy stays with me
as I look at these people I don't see any reality
just scripted conversations of a skit written in the stars
guess I'm a veteran who fought great mental wars
now m getting older searching for meanings

Morning came late for me
i had no courage to wake up today
each day is depressing as if i'm lost i'm stray
i look at the same old disgusted face in the mirror
no confidence whatsoever
in the same room with the same walls
like my world suddenly shrank and i'm on the edge about to fall
i have so many wishes so many dreams
lately i'm in a slump shouting for help but nobody hears my screams
where should i start in this circle of life
where there's no beginning or end feel like I've been deprived
how can i break free from this invisible cage
how can i mentally reach to a different place
are we all truly galaxies living in our own time and space
or maybe we're here only to fill our life's page
and then came the night
it made me fight with my own emotions inside
lord please come and save me again before i lose my mind...

I walked to my room not caring if the world was ending
cuz it has ended for me on many nights and began again in the morning
sitting on the porch alone with my mind somewhere in the past
thats when I realised why memories are the only thing that's lasts
what I gave to the world? and what does this world gave me?
or should I ask what it took from me?
or maybe I was wrong and u always deserved better
a million thots in my mind I try to pen it down but couldn't send the letter
thinking let the world end tonight cuz in the morning I'll be fine
but it's been weeks, months n years maybe this is what now m destined for..

One random day we took our bags and went on our different ways,
not knowing what we'll face in this world and whom all we gonna lose,
with small n big dreams we have to fulfill,
life kept showing its true colors and dimension,
even if we got broke the only thing we can still pay is our attention,
we kept spending the part of us in every place we've been and every person we met,
hoping we belong with them bt with time it all got changed,
suddenly u find it hard to live with such changes
you struggle to get along with your new life while u still deal with the old one's aftermath
n when u hope to experience it all again, things have changed the places isnt the way it used to be, everybody moved on
you came back as a vagabond just to realise there's no place u ever did belong...

Too many stress, I guess I needed a fix
cuz back when I started, I was clean but then it got harder to quit
now my friends are getting high
they probably might die
no one ever wondered why, why too many of us stay high?
the trauma the cause my friends stay numb
spitting blood from mouth looking in the mirror see what they have become
I probably might have been gone when I was 20
addiction becoming the cause as the world turned filthy
it all started in the hoods now the whole nation suffers
youths in punjab suffocating shaking wonder when it's gonna be over?
it kills me inside how do I end this?
I'm getting restless lookin back, this is not why I began this,
I just wanted to be in peace the stress I wanted to release
but it became an addiction I guess I'm stuck with it
now I wonder if they feel me it no longer heals me
if I had a gun I probably would've killed me
it's circulating in society and this hurts and pains
drug dealers being healers providing drugs bt it's vain
I can't go out I can't face the public
I'm tired I'm exhausted my mind and heart always conflicts
how can I stop this pain I guess I need a morphine
doctor help me, no weed no heroine ain't costlier than a medicine it's a feign,
so before I blackout, i don't think I'll be a college pass out
this thing ruining me i even arguing with my girl so she feels left out
now my mind going crazy alone it's hard
and I wonder if I ever be a normal person with a big heart
They try to send me to a rehabilitation
I suffer I suffocate will I'll be fine? show me an indication

Suzy Eshkuntana is a 6 years old Palestinian airstrike survivor in Gaza, the airstrike took her mother and her 4 siblings luckily her father survived and they both reunited in the hospital, this poem is a just a story of many children like Suzy who are facing the terror and chaos of the world, can u see the bigger picture?

She raised from ashes never going down
its been too long now this strength she finally found
destruction everywhere they tore the buildings down
children are crying but nobody hears their sound
through bombs and rockets they cursed the holy land
all is left are debris and there's no helping hand
killing innocents in airstrikes
people are dying who's gonna pay the price?
she was with her family in her home
They bombed her house now her family is gone
it took her mother and her four siblings
bombs were exploding she still remembers her ears being ringing
trapped in debris for seven hours she was alone
crying for help calling for her family who were gone
rescuers finally came took her out of debris
what a crazy world where survival isn't free
They took her to hospital to treat her wounds
But nobody talks about the trauma these kids face, what about those inner wounds?
She got better and then she found out
her father survived, they reunited in hospital and cried their heart out
Suzy Eshkuntana is her name
Just like Suzy there are other children with different names
many killed in the battle of politics
from Israel, Palestine to Gaza strip
When will the violence stop?
until these so called in power becomes dead corps?
and when these survivor kids grow up they'll remember those who are deceased
its pity that so many people have to die to know the value of peace.

it not only reveals who's fake n who's true
sometimes it's a lesson sometimes it's not
sometimes it hurts when it comes from d person u love
broken promises usually comes from a fix person
trying to unfix the whole situation what of a promise that people make ?
not knowing in future it probably may break
remember whenever you trying to make a promise
you are giving that definition to the person hope you know this
you either make them believe that promises still exist
or it'll always remains in someone's wish list
I believe promises still exist but it always changes in time
depend upon the things a person dealing in it's mind
so when someone made you a promise don't take it as granted
because sometimes promises break even if people didn't wanted
sometimes it breaks a person and things doesn't seem well now
but eventually people make it through because they believe they are stronger than a broken vow.

It's 3 Am and I'm still thinking about you
I'm still thinking about my life
I'm still thinking about what was true
all those places that I lived and left behind
came back to haunt me the times of helpless grind
it's 3 am and I found myself again standing alone on a crossroad
with my friends all gone and the world is turning cold
don't know where it's all leading
I ain't wounded but it feels like I'm bleeding
from a cut in the past or what all that I left behind
but I got to blend with these commotions for the peace of my mind

just like a folklore by a soldier from a restless battle he fought

these communities in need
where people can't breath
because they kill them on the streets
defeat to mankind
no compassion I'm terrified
when I realized it's destructive to keep a cause alive
we suffer and suffocate but how long we'll suffer?
soon we'll turn violent when they start stealing our supper
but we got to defy the upper hand
and make a stand
to make them understand
that it's a god's plan
to reveille the truth
to these hopeless youth
where they take children's life while they still alive call it a unforgettable loot,

Revolutionary ideas plotting my assassination
but someone need to speak up before they cause the annihilation
this ain't a petition for their breach
this is the result of freedom of speech
so it can reach to you, for you to see
that even in a democratic nation the freedom isn't free
they tryna sell my nation
divide us based on our caste and religion
fuck their decisions
and their motherfucking legislation
we wanted development but you brought inflation
so it got harder for a poor to get its ration
accept it cuz you can't deny this
and then there's the increasing job crisis
the youths are on the streets protesting
against your coalition resisting
but what will u do when their patience runs out?
when the push comes to shove all the truth comes out
it's a turmoil n it's hard to see
that we went from a free nation to partly free
we are still hoping for a change
youths still looking for a chance
to see a time where we can spend more on unemployment and poverty than the military defense
take it as a reality check my words of wisdom
cuz everybody is a part of this nation whether it's a poor or unemployed but rather than helping them they wanna eliminate them from the system
I'm just speaking the facts n praying to lord
that this nation will remain free as I'm plotting to raise awareness of casualties with my pen my sword.

#14. My school life
As I close my eyes I see memories
the place where I used to live free
the folks whom I used to roam with
time moved so fast, catching life became a gauntlet
back in the time when we were going to school
I used to wake up late and it was a struggle to reach school, before morning prayers
and when we were in assembly a random kid used to tremble and fall then everybody used to stare
teasing the juniors
because we were the seniors
some look out for girls
and some stay lost in their own world
asking friends how much time left for the period
and teacher look at us like we all are weird
during recess we used to hung around that big tree that was our corner
we talk about our classroom shits, watching a new bike asking who's the owner?
some stay busy in their relationship
some just wish when they'll be in a relationship
but top of all it was all abt friendship
if we got a fight we would start a war
riding our bikes and start racing like who would go far
we used to wait for our games period I remember those matches
I remember my football goals and cricket catches
we used to tease our friends whenever they talk with a girl
my school was amazing it was a different world
we made groupies and had fun
a day before the test we used to study till we see the sun
I remember the annual days and all the other functions
at that time school was our only junction
don't know when these days past
but we celebrated it with a blast
damn I just wish if only I could capture those moments in my eyes
cuz whenever we think about school our eyes shine brighter than the morning sky
now those times will not come back but it's time for us to cherish them
because listening to old songs still bring nostalgia about school
so I sit back and reminisce about KV Nazira my one and only school.

Keep my eyes on the prize
doesn't matter what's the size
of the demon inside my head because still I rise
came out as a surprise, most of you didn't realize
you were searching for the truth but you believed them lies
look up at the skies and wave me bye byes
because I am evading the scene while your soul in the grave your just living to die
ya your just living to die because your mind so toxic
forget me for my art, what can I do I'm just an artist
you think you know better you think you know everything
that's the damn reason why you fall for anything
and many things you wanna achieve
I get that, you want to succeed
but the things that you want are they really the things that you need ?
or are you so full of greed?
might as well rectify your creed
because this materialistic possessions
raising your obsessions
but this is my confessions
brain storming sessions
because it's all about inside out rather than outside in
money makes the world go round but it doesn't rule within
this is my pursuit of happiness that money can't buy
you can buy a Lamborghini but what's the point if you don't have real ones to ride along your side ?
I hope you read situations I hope you look at the bright minds
the one who are millionaires are the one who were in it for the grind
I hope you read these signs then you'll understand
believe that happiness is from within and don't ask why
it's like believing that planets are in the galaxy they can tell you how but they can't tell you why

Emotions and joys hold a vision
from my mind to my heart there's a collision
man to man woman to woman
everyone's fighting emotionally to be a new man
compassion and sympathy
what about empathy?
feelings from my heart the strongest organ it has to be
it felt love and hate
everyone can co-relate
lonely times in this struggle of common fate
loyalty and betrayal
fake or real
you can find the contradiction by how you feel
hearts are fragile think a lot before you offer
emotions can be stupid make sure it won't make you suffer
because deep inside my heart there are words unspoken
yet knowing it all I give you my heart, you can return it with joy or you can return it broken.

#11.What a man thinks when he is all alone
I contemplate about my life
it's ok to be wrong because you can't always be right
these are the times when you have to fight through the night
the past moments will take you away from your life
surrounded by insecurities about the coming days
will that be a better day ?
remember, struggle always pays
no humanity but I am trying to stay true
afraid of these times wondering wat I'll be turning into
prayers, I always make for me and you
lord bless me hope I won't turn into somebody I don't want to
in seek of opportunities in this competitive world
it's "do or die" I can't put this is in other words
with a vision to help my family financially
emotionally sometimes I get weak unintentionally
it's mystery how life change its all subliminal
thinking about it everyday it made us all emotional
because there's a constant danger mixed feelings of times turning known into strangers
what else can I do to make my people proud?
when I'm all alone in my mind such voices screams out loud
can't forget my mistakes in times they made me feel regretted
so I confess that I'm going to be a better man remember that
each day everyday a stressed man talkin in my mind
that it's all gonna be ok just trust your grind
hope I can find and build an empire
in my soul there's a fire telling me to conquer the entire
past pain future gain I hold a vision
we are just mixture of such sad and joyful emotions
from my past to future even in my present zone

#8.An evening in my town Nazira
Evening in my town was pleasant and calm
year 2011 the skies were gold and the weather was warm
I saw kids cycling and playing in the park
people were smiling while taking a walk
the street lights were yellow
my town was small you probably knew every fellow
and said hello when you saw your friends hanging around
riding their bikes and making some crazy sounds
it was another reason that I found to be able to live fullest
everybody had their groups and thot they were the coolest
then we used to go to our hanging spot and eat snacks
talk about a good day like what happened to that
later we used to get calls from our home
and I used to notice every glance until I reach home
like the school KV I've been to
the field where I used to play cricket n football
the temple near to that field
and the roads that used to fill with leaves in autumn fall
the generator room that used to blow hot air
the helipad where the helicopter was there
different lanes I knew all the shortcuts from first to the last
and finally that big hump which had big trees n a graveyard from the past but
it's been years that I left that small town
but I still remember how it used to be, every road n every ground
times have changed I know it doesn't make the same sound
but that's how an evening looked like in my town.

If tomorrow never comes
and the world is ending
whom you rather wanna be with ?
what confessions you'll make?
would you cherish the good memories or regret the chances you didn't take?
whom you'll miss the most?
and whom will you forget?
would you be excited for the reunion or would you be upset to get separate?
This year has been absurd
feel like I'm living in reverse
everyday is getting worse
feels like it's a damn curse
there's a drama in my head
woke up I don't even know if I'm alive or dead
flashing lights, I hear those sirens more and more
that's it fuck it feel like it's the last poem I don't wanna write anymore
it's happening now I'm crossing roads
this feels like a completely different mode
don't know where I'm heading but I'm moving ahead
I faced all of my fears, dealt with the things that I've said
although I won some and lost some

the road seems bleak
but you don't get weak sooner or later things will fix
hold into your life and try not to quit
circumstances are unreal

greatest are greatest cuz that's wat they deal
I know the clouds are dark
everything has a purpose search it in your heart
even in your highs or even in your lows
even if your moving fast even if your moving slow
even if your bills are high n mind is stressed
lord's only testing you stay humble and blessed
even in your wrong decisions even with your fakes
trust the lord he never make mistakes
search the hope within and fight for your existence
nothing like perfection it's all about consistence
your purpose is valuable and when you realize it, the things will fix

alone in my room with dim light
again I found my loneliness beside staring at the ceiling's crack they left me like it was yesterday
no pleasure in this town just try to survive each day
guess I never understand some people most times I don't know how to react
died too many times in living in a world I didn't create
maybe I'm depressed or having bad days
leaving everything behind just to see what stays
