Radio was full of memories from shows long remembered. But it was also a platform of little known shows. I thought we'd explore the little known shows tonight with well remember radio stars. The first half hour is from a little known showcalled Notes from your soldiers notebook. It features the songs of Bob Everly and the announcing skills of actor Boris Aplon whom you may remember from Captain Midnight. The 15 minute shows are from December 9 and December16 1942.
Our final show is called Oakies College. It features Jack Oakie with Bill Goodwin announcing and guest stars Joe Penner and 13 year-old Judy Garland. The show we will hear aired on March 91937.

Radio Out Of The Past salutes two well remembered radio shows.
the first is the Adventures of Nero Wolfe with a show entitle Room 304 from April 27 1951.
The second program is the Whistler. But not from Holywood. The Whistler like Escape and other programs sometimes did a series produced in other cities with local stars.
In this case we'll hear what the Whistler sounded like in Chicago in a show called Blind Impulse from December of 1946 with a well known Chicago radio cast.

Hi everyone. Tonight's productions will show you that time travel has a price... Your life! Its time for x minus one and Tales Of Tomorrow to bring you The Old Die Rich!
There is more than one side to a story... Why are elderly people dying leaving tuns of money in their own bank accounts?
The answer will be amazing and also a little incredible. Maybe at the end of the day, its safe to observe the following. The future changes, and the past retains itself if preserved.
