Exodus 34:21 - Six days thou shalt work, but on the seventh day thou shalt rest: in earing time and in harvest thou shalt rest.
Growing up we were taught that you worked Monday – Saturday and you rested on Sunday because it was the Lord’s Day. When we don’t rest, we cannot think clearly on what needs to be done and what should be done. The body can only run for so long without a break.

I did this talk July 30th. I have spoken on this before, last year, but this time it is live and it is still relevant a year later. I always to this kind of talk right before school starts reminding parents and teachers prayer doesn't start a school, it starts at home.
Enjoy!!!!

Romans 12: 10-14 says:
10 But why dost thou judge thy brother? or why dost thou set at nought thy brother? for we shall all stand before the judgment seat of Christ. 11 For it is written, As I live, saith the Lord, every knee shall bow to me, and every tongue shall confess to God. 12 So then every one of us shall give account of himself to God.
As children of God, we are not to judge but love one another. God made us all different for a reason. Being different gives different perspectives on things, it gives new ideas, fresh solutions, it keeps the world we live in from being boring and mundane. A lot has changed for Jesus’ time, and He knew it would, but what remains the same is our love for another.
Why are we going through yet another deadly school shooting in less than a year? We just had this conversation last June in Texas and now we are going through this again in our own front yard (not the backyard, this was right in our faces). Now Tennessee is on the map for all the wrong reasons, for being the deadliest school shooting since Texas. In 3 months time, this would be 19th shooting in 3 months, which is just ridiculous.
Today's Topic: What To Do
Scripture: Romans 12:15
When you praise, I praise. When you weep, I weep. Just as God intended.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV) 2 Corinthians 5: 17
God wants to remove our old to replace it with new, but He will not fight us to do it. We either want His blessings or not.

People need to know God has not forgotten them by seeing what He has done for us.
Too many people feel if they tell what God has done for them it would be telling their business. No it is not. He blessed you so you can bless others, and sometimes, that's just telling what God has done for you so it gives them that ray of hope that their help is on the way.
I come from a singing family; even my baby brother will lead a song sometimes. My dad used to sing a song called, “Serving the Lord” and the part that lead into the verse said, “Serving the Lord will pay off after while”. A verse of the song goes: “I got to keep on working yes I have. Cause I want my starry crown, I know that my way will get brighter even though my friends sometime let me down. And O what a time it will be when my Savior, my Savior face I see. Serving the Lord and oh it all pay off after while”.
Now that I’m older, and have had my own trials and tribulations, I now understand what that song means and how it means so much more to me now.

For years, with the help of some donors, me and the hubby did what we could for how many we could help but now is the time to be humble and ask for donations from others so we can help more people. So many more people need help and we need to get on the ball and do what we can to help. Remember, God blesses us so we can bless others not to keep the blessings to ourselves.

People keep using the excuse, "I'm not being spiritually fed at my church". What does that even mean? Do they even know?
Romans 12:12 - “Rejoicing in hope; patient in tribulation; continuing instant in prayer;”
Psalms 54:2 - “Hear my prayer, O God; give ear to the words of my mouth.”
People are still quick to blame the lack of prayer in schools as the reason for all the danger our kids are in today while trying to get an education, but it has nothing to do with it. Prayer does not start in the school…it starts at home.
And Jesus said unto him, “Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.”

You need not fear the darkness if you are walking with the Light of the World
Depression can be caused by many different things. There are no clear signs of depression, and you will never know who suffers from depression. Like me, I have been suffering from depression for now 9 years. Listen to find out why and how I still manage to stay sane....most of the time.
We need to do more, or we will lose this world forever. We don’t need to trust that someone will speak on our behalf because they will not, they have their own agenda. Our youth, young adults, adults and seniors need us now more than ever at this time. It’s time for us to stand up for what is right even if means standing alone.

In light of everything that is going on, one thing is still the same, this young man saw death as the only way to get peace. Playing the coulda, shoulda, woulda will not bring ALL those souls back. Blaming who should have done this, or why did they not do that will not explain why the violence occurred in the first place.

Ezekiel 37: 18 - 22
Isn’t it great when someone explains something to us that we just don’t get? To be able to follow along and really understand what is being told to us is a great feeling. We don’t feel so lost or confused anymore and can give the right answers that go along with the discussion, all because we understood what was being said.
You cannot accept the call of God and not be willing to explain to His children so they can understand what He expects of them in their daily lives.
We, as children of God, should not wait until the battle is over to shout praises. We know in the end we will win, so why wait until then to shout to the heavens? We go through so many things that will only make us stronger, make us more appreciative and make us humble.
36 For ye have need of patience, that, after ye have done the will of God, ye might receive the promise. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Hebrews-10-36/
We have missed out on so many blessings because of our lack of patience. God made promises, and He has kept every one of them, it is us that keeps breaking our promises to Him. Because of our continued broken promises to Him, we cannot receive His promises to us. We live in a world that is fast, quick and is always trying to find a loophole to get what we want faster than when we really need it.

31Let all bitterness, and wrath, and anger, and clamour, and evil speaking, be put away from you, with all malice: 32And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you. –EPHESIANS CHAPTER 4 KJV (kingjamesbibleonline.org)
The Oscars Slap
Sunday, March 27, 2022, the Oscars were on television, but what everyone is talking about is the slap heard around the world. All that preparation, planning and excitement was wiped away because of the actions of Chris Rock that caused the reaction of Will Smith. This also showed the world that money, fame and status mean nothing, and they are just like the rest of us when we let anger get the better of us.
(For if a man know not how to rule his own house, how shall he take care of the church of God?) - 1 Timothy 3:5
We have people leading us in the church who can’t even lead their own house. Meaning you have hell and high water going on in your house but try to promote peace and love in the church. If you can’t lead the souls in your own house to God, how can you lead the souls in His church?
In thee, O LORD, do I put my trust: let me never be put to confusion.
https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Psalms-71-1/
The Lords word is final. There is no confusion, you know exactly what you should do, He has made that clear. The confusion comes in when we listen to the people of the world tell us what they “think” we should do. If God set you on your path, only God can change, and/or, end it.
But love ye your enemies, and do good, and lend, hoping for nothing again; and your reward shall be great, and ye shall be the children of the Highest: for he is kind unto the unthankful and to the evil. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Luke-6-35/
Be ye therefore merciful, as your Father also is merciful.
https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Luke-6-36/
These verses say we have to love our enemies and do good, doing what we can for them and not expecting anything in return. The last part is hard for us; we can’t do something for someone and not expect something in return. We may not ask for it right way, or at the moment, but at some point we want to get rewarded for our good deed. This is how we miss out on so many blessings because we did something only to get something in return and that is not what God intended for His children. As children of the King, we are to do good deeds because we are supposed to not because we want something in return.
Psalms 73:26 - My flesh and my heart faileth: but God is the strength of my heart, and my portion forever.
This verse tells you in spite of your pain, body failing…God is still your strength. Which means STOP COMPLAINING!!!! At least you can feel your pain.
We complain if we are a little stiff, got a backache, headache and don’t let us get a migraine!!!! We will call out of work, not got to church or do anything for that matter because we are in so much pain (in our minds). Pop an aspirin, or a prescription pain meds, and you’re right as rain. What about those who don’t have that option?? Pain is part of their daily routine and most of the time we don’t even know it. Why? Because they know that even though they may be in pain, they still got up this morning, they still can-do somethings for themselves and they know God has not forgotten about them.
Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. (KJV)
2021 brought death, depression, despair, uncertainty and fear. The question is are you going to bring that with you in 2022? 2022 is a time of new beginnings, new adventures, new challenges and new blessings.
This verse is telling us that anyone that be in Christ is a new creature. That means we are revived anew and not being the old version of ourselves. Our things are gone and all the old will become new. This means the old things are gone and are placed with new things. The problem is some people do not want to let go of the old things. Some rather keep holding on to old things (sentimental value I guess...who knows) but we cannot be blessed with the new God wants to put in our live due to having no room for it because of the old things we still carry around like trophies.
This is a short message to tell you how much you mean to me and my ministry. There's more to do in 2022!!! Thank you for your prayers and your support.
“That I may publish with the voice of thanksgiving, and tell of all thy wondrous works.”
https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/Psalms-26-7/
I pray Thanksgiving was a blessed day for you all. Spending time with family, getting out and socializing face to face, being safe through it all. Even though we have lost family, friends, and for some jobs we still have a lot as well.
LORD my God, I pray thee, let this child's soul come into him again.” - 1 Kings 17:21 (KJV)
The story last week breaks my heart. We lost another angel to bullying who felt taking their life was the only answer at 10 years old. At 10 years old, this baby has not had a chance to live life fully before she took her own life. The story, Black Student Isabella Tichenor Dies by Suicide in Davis School District, Where DOJ Says Racism Is Rife (thedailybeast.com), goes into some detail on the circumstances of what started it all.
I decided on this topic when talking to a parent of one my earlier babies. One thing we tend to forget, and overlook, is how the kids are taking going back to school from being out for over a year. Just like the adults returning to the work force, we have changed. We don’t look the same, we don’t act the same and our outlook on life is now different.

We are going to talk about how me having low self-esteem has affected me and the choices I made growing up and how it still affects me now.
The song I mentioned, it’s a too cute song that just makes you smile.
I Look Good video: Bernadette Cooper - I Look Good (Official Music Video) - YouTube
We are talking about self-esteem today and this will be a 2-parter. The 1st part is hearing from our youth on their thoughts about it and how they rank their self-esteem. The 2nd part is hearing from me with my life story of what I went through and how it still affects my life, and my decisions, still today. They need to know that we have dealt with (and still are dealing with) self-esteem issues, like them, and that we are here to help them if they need it.
I came across an article about Hume Fogg and the party bus noise. I saw students and adult, outside, with their signs, and I had to reach out to one my babies that I knew went to that school. I asked them were they out there too, they told me no but they did sign the petition because it was very distracting.
Today we talk about dressing appropriately. This is another topic the youth wanted to discuss, about how others are dressing in relation to the school dress code for girls against what it is for boys.
What it comes down to it is the student feeling comfortable, but still being respectful to not only the ones around them but being respectful to themselves as well.
Tennessee Mask Mandate
Today we are talking about:
Remember, to not take others word for anything, do the research for yourself. How I feel will not be how you feel when you do your own research, but at least you had the information in front of you to make that decision on your own.

A couple of weeks ago, after the students had time to adjust to returning to in-person learning, I asked my youth group what was bugging them.
The following is in their own words when I asked how they felt about returning to in-person learning.
Talking about what is to come, in 2 weeks, after talking to students about what is on their mind and the topics they want to discuss. Learn what is troubling our students and what we can do to "really" help them.
Pray For Our Teachers – Preach the word
2 Timothy 4:2 - Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all longsuffering and doctrine. https://www.kingjamesbibleonline.org/2-Timothy-4-2/
Thought For The Week: Unseen heroes are always seen by God
We all have a calling on our lives and sooner, or later, we will accept that call. Teaching is not as easy as it looks. Ask a teacher to run through a good day and then run through a bad day. Teaching is the one job you cannot lose your temper, have a bad attitude or be rude at all. Even though some do all three (3), there are those who are making a difference and putting the excitement back into learning that makes our kids want to go to school (those who can) and actually learn and not spend class time updating their social media sites.
We are all teachers, in some form or another, and we are all here to preach (teach) others on the blessings and miracles of Jesus and how He can help us every step of the way. We are to be instant when we preach and do it in, and out, of season. We are to reprove (scold, express disapproval), rebuke (to criticize sharply), exhort (give warnings or advice) with all longsuffering (patiently enduring lasting offense or hardship) and doctrine (something that is taught). All these things we do on a daily basis anyway, and it can be done respectfully, the main thing is to preach the word and be instant when we do it.
Today preach the word. Pray to God to give you the right words to say to get His message across without offending anyone. When He answers, say what He told you to say nothing more, nothing less and do not change it. We have the tendency to half of what God tell us to do because we have our own points, and opinions, we just have to tell them that as well. It is then when they are offended and friendships, families and jobs become unnecessarily stressful. Do what God tells you and bring hope and life back to someone who thought all was lost. Our job is to bring God’s children home, not drive them further away.
God Bless all our teachers!!!! You are appreciated, loved and well respected!!!!!
Always know that the Lord will be our refuge for the oppressed. He will be our shelter in times of trouble. Every day we are oppressed about something or another, and now with schools back in, that burden has now multiplied.
We are praying for all the students everywhere going back to school. We pray for all the souls walking through school doors this year. We are praying for the teachers, the administrators, the custodians and everyone working with the students this year.
You can’t put God on a building and think it will stop the violence. God has to be in the hearts and souls of all who enter those buildings and that starts at home. We are still trying force God on people and it is having the opposite effect. God is not something you can force on someone. They have to, not only, want God to be in in their lives but are willing to receive Him as well.
Introduction into Wednesdays discussion on what we, adults, can do to teach the babies on how to stay safe as they return to in-person classes next week.
Talking about depression and how we need to start the conversation so another soul does not have to face it alone. How they can find hope so they don't have to walk this road alone.
toward the end you hear a trickling waterfall, had to regain my peace, it was getting emotional for me
Intro into Wednesday's, July 28th, discussion about depression. How we all know it exist but how nobody talks about it.
Friends, and foes, will turn against us. For whatever reason, they will find a way to turn what we say and do back around on us.
This is a welcome to you for joining me on my next adventure and what you are to expect each week on Wednesday
This episode I will be introducing myself and telling you a little bit about me and how I got to this point. Next time, I will talk about how the older generation got added to the mix and the blessings that flowed from the new souls that were saved.
