Be Christ Centred exists to point to the primary importance of the gospel in a lost and broken world and to equip God’s people with foundational, Bible truths so that they can provide a sound defence of their Christian faith - what they believe and why they believe it. To challenge erroneous doctrines, where they occur, and to grow in grace and the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, through the truth of His word.
BONUS | Writing about a perceived evangelical downgrade in 1887, Charles Spurgeon commented that the church was turning away from the truth and “going down hill at breakneck speed.”
In the past few years, the bride of Christ has once again found itself under attack from a new enemy, originating in the early 20th century from a Marxist sociological and philosophical school of thought, based in Frankfurt, Germany.
In this audio-article, Kevin Mott explores Critical Theory and its various offshoots, explaining how atheistic ideas perpetuated by those academics involved in the Frankfurt School have infiltrated the classroom and taken root in today’s young minds, wider society and the church universal. In a world that no longer regards truth as absolute, we are urged to “keep thy heart with all diligence” and stand firm upon the word of God.
The written article was first published by Bible League Quarterly, July-September and October-December 2021 respectively, and is now reprinted in booklet form for wider circulation.
