Texas pastor Ryan Binkley isn't just on a mission for God. The preacher and businessman has also decided to run for president, with his faith distinguishing him as an intriguing candidate.

A "deeply alarming" situation has unfolded in Colorado, where a Christian-owned coffee shop has reportedly been under fire by LGBTQ activists, communists, and others over the owners' "biblical stance on sexual sin."
"Since its opening last month, The Drip Café, a Christian-owned coffee shop ministry in Denver, has been targeted by protesters over its belief that homosexuality is sinful," Christian Post reporter Ian Giatti wrote earlier this month. "Owner Jamie Sanchez believes the Denver Communists and other LGBT protesters were triggered by Scripture on the website of his coffee shop's parent nonprofit Recycle God's Love, which ministers to the local homeless population."

In the last couple of months, thousands of more churches have left the United Methodist Church, having their disaffiliation votes approved by their UMC conferences. Updated totals show that as many as 6,000 churches have left UMC in the last couple of years — and the issue shows no signs of slowing down.
"For the last several ... decades, the United Methodist Church has been in a big debate about whether to change its official stance on LGBT issues," Christian Post reporter Michael Gryboski says. "At present, the UMC prohibits the blessing of same-sex unions and the ordination of non-celibate homosexuals."

The National Center on Sexual Exploitation recently released its annual Dirty Dozen list that documents how 12 entities are purportedly profiting off sexually exploitative practices. The list includes companies that NCOSE believes are “fueling sexual exploitation through their business practices, policies and products,” according to Lina Nealon, the director of corporate and strategic initiatives.

"The Gospel really is all we need." That's the lesson Leah MarieAnn Klett took away from her recent coverage of a Nigerian ministry that shares biblical truth with unreached people groups.
"It's extremely dangerous to be a Christian in these areas," Klett said. "And it's very dangerous to go into these areas and reach people with the Gospel."
She specifically shared a harrowing story from Oscar Amaechina, president of Afri-Mission and Evangelism Network in Abuja, Nigeria, who revealed that he and other missionaries were almost murdered by a group — but that an act of simple love and compassion changed everything and had an eternal impact.
