This week’s guest has 2 daughters and when they started using screens during the pandemic, they were torn in wanting them to be tech-savvy, but also wanted them to be well-rounded.

They set screen time limits, but their kids threw tantrums and rebelled when their time was up. Life turned into a negotiation. As parents, they found that fighting against Roblox, YouTube, Minecraft, and TikTok was a battle they could not win.

Like all parents they tried parental control apps, but the existing technology didn't work. They were hard to set up, their kids broke out, and they got bombarded with notification requests for extra screen time. Fundamentally, they found the approach of simply limiting screen time flawed.

Something better was needed and so they made Carrots&Cake.

The app focuses on improving the quality of kids’ screen time and now their kids have balance, are happier, and their family has more time to connect.

As a child, AJ was frequently bullied for his hearing impairment. Instead of letting social challenges define him, AJ strived to overcome them.

In 20 years of clinical medicine, Sheila has taken care of a lot of very sick children but to an even greater extent, she saw kids with lifestyle induced problems. Poor sleep, unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle, unhealthy weight and frequently a lot of depression and anxiety were keeping these kids from living in their best health.

Dr. Sheila Carroll is a board-certified pediatrician and obesity medicine physician who is dedicated to helping children achieve their best health.

Shelia opinion is a child cannot be expected to change their lifestyle habits by themselves. Children need their parent's and caregiver's help. And parents need help figuring out first, exactly what to do and then, how to actually do it.

She does this by working exclusively with parents who are willing to focus on modifying their own behaviors to ultimately improve their child's health.

Fiona is the founder of Home Sweet Homes, a co-parenting journal and planner aimed at helping young children adjust to life after a separation or divorce.

As a single mother to a 5-year-old boy, she experienced first-hand the challenges that come with co-parenting, including stress, anxiety, guilt, and a lack of resources to support young children.

Fiona searched for tools and products to help co-parents and their children but found that there were few solutions available that directly involved children. This inspired her to create the Home Sweet Homes journal and planner, which evolved from a $2 mini planner she found at a dollar store.

The Home Sweet Homes journal and planner is designed to keep co-parents and their child connected and informed about each other's daily lives, while also providing comfort and joy across their two homes.

Fiona's mission is to bring positivity out of a difficult situation by combining the benefits of a journal and planner into a tool that stays with the child. After countless hours of brainstorming, writing, editing, and designing, Fiona had the first prototype of Home Sweet Homes in her hands in February 2021.

When her kids were young she parented intuitively which worked pretty well. Then they hit the teen years and life became chaotic, tense, and drama-filled. This weeks guest felt worried, angry, frustrated, scared, and exhausted.

She told her kids what they “should” do and what they “need” to do. She offered her wisdom and told them why they were wrong and what the “right” way was.

And when none of that worked, she punished them. The result was more conflict, arguments and they shut her out.

Like most parents, she read books, listened to podcasts, and speakers, but nothing seemed to worked.

In 2016, she found a program which showed completely new parenting communication strategies that dramatically changed her relationship with her children and made her house a more calm and peaceful place to be.

These strategies and tools were so life changing that she knew she needed to get this information into the hands of as many parents as possible.

Jeanine Mouchawar is a professional life coach who specializes in helping parents navigate the challenges of raising teenagers.

This weeks guest has a passion for raising awareness about a silent epidemic that affects all of us: every country, race, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, faith and creed, single or dual parent homes, yet it is stigmatized and not talked about. It is prenatal exposure to alcohol.

Patricia says if your children are not responding as expected to traditional approaches of parenting or discipline, chances are that the root of the problem is altered wiring in the brain from prenatal exposure to toxins and/or trauma (there are over 50,000 things that can alter the development of a baby in the womb), which means there are biological reasons why rewards and consequences, praise or punishment are not changing their behavior. Patricia isn't about shaming mamas! She just wants to raise awareness.

She is also a trainer and neurobehavioral coach, a Certified VIRTUAL Coach, a podcaster with a podcast, Living with FASD. and if that wasn't enough she is writing a book geared to reaching the 16.6 million adults in the US who are impacted by prenatal exposure to alcohol, most of whom have no clue.

When we understand both how our children's brains, changed by drugs, alcohol and/or trauma, drive their behavior, and as we understand what we bring to the table in our interactions with our children, these shifts will happen.

This week's guest is deeply passionate about parenting, mental health, and wellness,

They grew up with the impression they were losers, feeling worthless and helpless.

The environment they rose from wasn’t healthy and they struggled academically, and while resilient, they felt inadequate for a long time.

Avi Wolfson was as a young adult, diagnosed with Bipolar Type I (previously known as Manic Depression) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD).

Anxiety was evident and present within his family but seldom talked about, nor did he have permission to feel sad or express any feeling besides happiness. In addition, he felt pressured to take on heavily religious activities but had no interest in them; this all took a heavy toll, leading him to drink, take drugs, and music as vices.

Avi joined the US National Guard in high school to absolve himself of this shame. he was proud to serve a country that he loved and protect the society in which we live so freely, but being in the military didn’t prevent any of those problems, nor did it make them go away. and he was back at square one and rock bottom.

Avi has struggled with MDD, Bipolar I, and has gone through very dark times in a traumatic childhood as a young, separated father to a girl, they believe their experience and unique perspective on single parenting would be valuable as he has become a stronger and more resilient person by finding light within my darkness.

Dr. Paul Sambataro, a neurocognitive scientist with the American Academy of Primary Care Psychologists, has created a program called "The Emotional Budgeting Program" to support the mind's ability to process information and emotions. This program has been clinically tested and has shown successful results in reducing anxiety and stress in children, adolescents, and adults within 6-8 weeks of daily exercise. The program is based on brain functioning theories and principles for productive functioning and helps organize overwhelming emotions and subsequently improves daily function.

As a Neurocognitive Scientist, he has assessed countless young students devastated by overwhelming anxiety and emotional turmoil disrupting their ability to problem-solve issues in their daily lives. impacting processing speed and memory.

He has also noted similar issues in adults in private practice which has led to an understanding that the inability to process and organize information input into the brain creates a sense of anxiety, stress, and the state of being overwhelmed which limits function.

Many adults experience overwhelming anxiety and stress resulting in emotional pain. Relief for emotional pain is often sought through ineffective self-medication or self-harming behaviors. This program is designed as a supplement to a strong therapeutic partnership with a therapist.

After wife and husband research and writing team Kasey Edwards and Dr Christopher Scanlon published their bestselling book Raising Girls Who Like Themselves in 2021, they started getting the same question over and over again: what about boys?

Parents are worried about their sons - that they have low self-esteem, lack confidence, and are angry and sad. They’re scared that boys will lose their sweetness and joy as they get older.

The problem they discovered is that while “girls can do anything” there is still only one “right” way to be a boy.

There are still dangerous assumptions about boys being tough and being able to handle shaming, harsh punishments, and pressure to perform. This is suffocating our boys, limiting their potential, and in some cases, killing them.

But Kasey and Christopher have the antidote in the newly published book - Bringing Up Boys Who Like Themselves.

Using a friendly, guilt-free approach, they show parents why and how to help their boys discover for themselves - who they are rather than forcing them into the masculine straitjacket.

With the right approach and strategies, parents can build a strong foundation within their sons so that they can withstand whatever life throws at them and soar to reach their potential.

Roger Pollard is a writer, teacher, and coach based in Miami, Florida.

Growing up, sports were his life, and he played a variety of sports, including baseball, basketball, football, and soccer.

While his parents supported his passion for sports, they also emphasized the importance of academic performance. After playing college football on a scholarship and coaching he worked as a Graduate Assistant for the Middle Tennessee State football program. He used football as a tool to pay for his Sociology degree and Masters in Sport Management.

Pollard pursued a head coaching position after completing his Master's degree, which he held for 10 years.

Throughout his coaching career, he found that his ability to inspire and motivate his players was the attribute that held the most power. He believes that the ability to help a person find their motive in times of extreme fatigue, both mental and physical, is worth its weight in gold.

Pollard's writing is an attempt to dig deeper into motive and explore what goes on inside people. He draws on his experience in the classroom, weight room, and football field to explore the difference between people's actions and words and the ability to bring comfort and tribulation closer together. His writing is an extension of his drive to inspire and motivate people and he hopes to accomplish the same feat through a different discipline.

What can I tell you about this week's guest …..

Angela is a seasoned performer with 3 Melbourne Comedy Festival Solo Shows under her belt. She has been a support act for many of the big names of comedy and she was a finalist in the Kings of Comedy contest and a preliminary finalist in Melbourne in the Raw Comedy contest. More recently she has been a writer for, ‘Mainland Tonight’, and ‘Pitch’. Angela is known for her razor-sharp wit and has been pleasing audiences in all the best venues in Melbourne.

Angela has a rare auto-immune condition, so when covid hit she had to lay low until they found a vaccine. It gave Angela a chance to focus on writing. Rather than her usual comedy writing, Angela enjoyed where her brain went when writing for children. Angela first started writing funny little stories for her niece but soon realized there was a bigger audience for her stories. Angela’s main aim as an author is for children to laugh while they learn. Angela grew up on a farm in regional Queensland and this experience flavours her writing for a unique storytelling experience. The innocence of simpler times. She found it soothing while the world seemed to be going insane.

During the first year, she published 4 illustrated children’s books and her books are getting rave reviews on Amazon and are beautifully illustrated using the latest in digital technology.

Angela’s books are perfect for parents who want to feel good about their choices and for children who love a good story. Your child will ask for them again and again and, sometimes, that will be a good thing.

This week's guest is appearing on the show for a second time, Doug Noll is a mediator and peacemaker who teaches people how to listen and validate others' emotions, which he calls Listening Others Into Existence.

He believes everyone has a deep need to be heard and validated and that listening and validating someone's emotions is the most powerful and precious gift you can give, costing you nothing.

Our culture however teaches us that emotions are bad, and we have learned from our parents to repress our emotions. This causes people to feel uncomfortable when someone is crying or angry, not knowing how to console a grieving friend, dealing with a screaming child, or avoiding hard conversations. As a result, people do not live in emotional safety, are scared of emotions, and are even afraid to admit to their fears, leading to misery, unhappiness, and despair, especially in relationships.

Doug's life became one big struggle as he was born nearly deaf, almost blind, and crippled with two club feet. He learned that emotions were not safe, and he became numb to his emotions. However, his work as a mediator and peacemaker forced him to confront human emotion straight on, and he discovered how to listen to others into existence. He taught inmates serving life sentences how to be peacemakers in maximum security prisons and then taught his skills at the highest levels of government in Washington, D.C. Today, he focuses on teaching emotional competency and de-escalation skills based on how our brains are hard-wired, which he believes is a solid foundation of empirical neuroscience.

This week’s guest has been a single parent for the last 10 years alongside being a director and then Chief Operating Officer for a consultancy business. Throughout that time, she has juggled the challenges of building a supportive and positive home environment for herself and her child whilst handling the increasing demands and expectations of an executive role in what has become an increasingly volatile world.

She has worked through various situations that at times have felt overwhelming; trying to create more time, being present for the right people at the right time, managing her guilt for not always being there for her daughter, being concerned with comparing herself to others and what her daughter might be missing or losing out on, and struggling to be the role model she want to be for her daughter. Not only all that but she has felt challenged at work about her dedication, felt vulnerable to criticism, felt the need to work twice as hard as others to prove her worth, and struggled with visibility and setting boundaries to find a harmonious balance between home and work.

This week's guest survived a rough childhood, torn between a narcissist of a father and an unfeeling and emotionally neglectful mother, she learned that she was the only one she could depend on and always felt like 'the black sheep' and found it hard to trust anyone. In her teens, her lack of control led to anorexia and binge eating disorders. her weight was about all she could truly take charge of and by the age of 17, she had also become a binge drinker- leading to becoming an alcoholic by age 21. After transferring this lack of self-relationship to relationships with others, She found herself at the end of a string of emotionally vacuous and harmful relationships- culminating in a marriage to a narcissist and her self-esteem issues came back and again via her weight- she protected herself by becoming morbidly obese. That was the only way her body could physically be off-limits to an abusive husband (or so she thought). After 14 years of being told she was ugly, worth nothing, a horrible mother, and much more- she left!  packing the kids, dogs, and cats into the car, loading a truck, and leaving town. The next 4 years saw a drawn-out legal battle which saw her lose everything except her babies. And she had to start again but the toll of Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) and Adverse Childhood Relationship Experiences (ACREs) and her adult relationship disasters (including the one with herself), years of stress, and physical trauma to her body culminated in multiple conditions that threatened to end her life. She threw herself into study, learning about the systems of the body and how they each worked in harmony with each other, she sought help with her trauma and became truly well, truly loved

She continued her study continuing to become stronger, more able to handle anything in life, and free from the past both physically and emotionally. She is now an instructor of PNEI of Trauma, the lead practitioner at Wholistic Natural Health Australia, and the host of her own podcast A Magical Life- health, wealth, and weight loss"

Asher is an expert in human health, development and education and provides quality information to parents and teachers to help improve parenting, teaching and childhood development.

Asher’s most powerful experiences as a child were all involving Nature. Experiencing the contrast between a public education devoid of Nature connection, and then a Steiner education rich in Nature connection – left him with strong impressions of what is most important for learning and life.

On this quest, he has studied holistic health, human development, kinesiology, education, business, media, and natural sciences.

If all that wasn’t enough Asher is also an Integrated Movement Specialist level 2 and Holistic Lifestyle Coach level 2 with the CHEK institute. And has recently published 2 books: Connecting Children to Nature: the Essential guide for parents and teachers & The Soil Big Book, an illustrated book on soil science.

However the more Asher learnt, the more he discovered the challenges and damages that modern life is having on current and future generations – and he became passionate about helping to overcome them.

After meeting geologist John Rowntree in 2016, he was invited to join the Life Rocks team. John, seeing his passion for earth science education, quickly made him CEO. Since then, The team and I have evolved Life Rocks into a non-for-profit foundation always working hard to bring joy, education and nature to children, parents and teachers through fun, scientific and interactive experiences, media, books, games and workshops.

This week’s guest Laura Reardon teaches parents about how to respond to their kids' big emotions and challenging behaviors in a way that creates more peace rather than more conflict in their homes.

She was graced with 2 children, a boy, and a girl, although not a single parent...and yet…In their growing-up years, she felt frustrated, worried, and unsure how to respond to their big emotions and challenging behaviors – one would lash out while the other would shut down.

She tried many things like counting to 3, consequences, rewards, and ignoring unwanted behaviors but none of it helped. And in the end, she found herself yelling…and worrying… and felt alone in this whole parenting thing.

Motivated to grow into her best self and help her kids grow into their best selves, she earned a certification as a Child Behaviour Specialist from The Early Years, completed Parent Coach training from Happily Family, and completed Emotion Coach training with the Gottman Institute in addition to her degree in psychology from Northeastern University.

And based on that training she created a 3-step plan for how to respond to the big emotions and challenging behaviors in her home in a way that supported her in managing her own emotions and behavior…and supported her kids’ in managing theirs.

This week's guest since she was 8 years old, has studied people’s behaviors.

It was not intentional but necessary for her survival.

She lived in a warzone. Of course, you wouldn’t necessarily know that by walking past her house, but you did if you knew her family. She also never knew when the war battles would occur. Therefore, she always had to be prepared. One way she prepared was by studying the behavior of those in her family which would mean she had a leg up and always be one step ahead of her abusers and homes toxicity.

The bottom line is her life was full of … ABUSE…VIOLENCE…FEAR! Today, she is grateful for her extremely traumatic childhood because it had a significant impact on her to be the therapist and coach who easily “gets it.”

Elizabeth Louis is a personal and professional development coach who focuses on the significance of mindset and perception. Her witty, direct, and transparent communication style educates individuals by showing them life is a choice. We can either choose to allow our brain and emotions to control us by reacting or we can choose to take control and respond, as we consciously desire.

This week’s guest is a Canadian educator, parent, and coach, residing in Fukuoka, Japan.

During a rich career in education spanning four decades, she has been dedicated to empowering children, parents and teachers to be their best and do their best.

A self-confessed nomad, she has experienced a variety of countries and cultures, both as a teacher and a school leader, and her perspective of the critical role parents play in the life of a child has deeply impacted her mission.

She has been on a mission for almost 25 years to understand and then share with others the emotional world of boys, and the pressures society places on them. The discord between what expectations are and how boys really feel often results in them shutting down their true self and resorting to misbehaviour, rebellion or depression.

She was raised in a poor neighbourhood Southeast of Brazil, in a family of heavy drinkers. When she was 4 years old, her father had a heart attack and died. She had a rough childhood with lots of struggle and violence, sexual, physical, and mental abuse, that brought a lot of pain and fear into her life.

She started drinking heavily to numb the pain and hopelessness when she was around 12 years old. The addiction to alcohol and the destructive behaviour were a big part of her life for many years.

When she was 26 years old and with a 3-year-old daughter she finally moved to the US, she was so thirsty for a change that she taught herself English in that first year; worked in a variety of different jobs – including house-cleaner and as a prepper that became a painter at an auto body shop; all while taking night classes and being a single parent to her daughter.

Finally, after a few years of hard work, she got what she wanted “9-5 office job.” She was still drinking heavily and feeling miserable…..That’s when something started changing inside of her, I started rethinking my life and my decisions. There was this subtle voice, always reminding her of her father’s premature death

She realized that something had to change, or she would end up like her father and just the thought of her little girl losing her to alcohol was unbearable.

But I’m not going to tell you the whole story as I’m going to let her tell you how she found herself and got over her alcoholism.

Jeanne Sullivan stopped putting others first, and STARTED creating her living out loud and on purpose when she hit her romantic bottom--after a string of men who held her back and one couldn't be her partner-- she realized she needed help.

She learnt about law of attraction and realized she had always been an amazing manifester. The trouble was, she had focused for years on what she didn't want, which conjured chaos. What she had to learn was to release resistance and focused on what she wanted?

That shift took a lot of work and many thousands of dollars in coaches and relationship masters to figure out why she was still dimming her light for love

For two years, she overhauled her life, letting go of her resistance to love, her feelings of not being enough and the people who did not nurture her. She also decided that being 40-something was an asset, because it made her wise.

As her confidence, self-worth and vibration rose, the men she called in improved. However, they still weren’t; quite right; they were mostly cubs looking for cougars. When she turned her marketing skills on herself, she realized her "personal brand" online was out of alignment with her soul mate vision. She was playing it way too safe, presenting as vanilla instead of rocky road!

After deciding to fly her freak flag online and putting herself out there in a confident and authentic way--and got energetically aligned with her soul mate vision. She rewrote her profile and posted it, feeling the shift to her core.

The very next morning, several men who shared the similar values and goals contacted her, including her now husband

The moral to her story is, when you learn how to get aligned, the universe takes your cosmic order and delivers it to you!

She is an author of the book “Be the Soul Mate You Want to Attract” and has appeared on ABC7, NBC, Today FM, Virgin Media TV and many more…

Some topics she covers include:

  • How to teach your kids to entertain themselves so you don't have to spend a ton of time planning or engaging. You can engage when and how you want to, instead of when the kids are bugging you.

  • How to spend more time outside when you feel like you don’t have time, the weather isn’t perfect, nature feels too far away, your kids span multiple age groups, and you/your kids don’t know what to do

This week's guest is a parenting expert, astrologer, and author (her day job is banking attorney). She writes positive parenting books based on astrology in order to help parents have the best, strongest relationship possible with their children.

She offers an unique perspective on astrology and positive parenting, including reparenting as an adult in order to better parent our children.

She was a single Mom for a few years (now remarried). And her divorce prompted a review of her life and she realized that she needed to heal from childhood trauma, including the death of her father and narcissistic abuse. She began using astrology, including the study of the birth chart, to become a better parent and she has written two parenting books and publish regular astrology and parenting content on my YouTube channel

One of her main tenets is that parents should respect children's intrinsic natures rather than pressure children to be how the parents want. I call this tendency parenting from a place of ego, since it's more about fulfilling the parents’, ego needs rather than the child's soul needs.

This week’s guest is a certified clinical hypnotherapist.

She discovered that 100% of my 1:1 client’s have found the seed of their adult issues in childhood trauma, but mostly simple misconceptions they made as children.

So, she thought if this is the case why not learn how to help children see their thoughts clearly, ask the right questions and take advantage of this early stage of development to instil positive suggestions that will set them up for success in the future.

It all starts by learning about yourself and doing the healing work on your own.

(You know, the whole 'put your oxygen mask on first and then help your child' analogy.)

Her passion is helping parents and children diagnosed with ADHD, conduct disorder or learning disabilities flourish and achieve their best.

What drives her work is asking the question - “why are they suffering?” and not “what are they suffering from or what is the disorder/diagnosis?” This question ultimately led her to develop this intervention program full of novelty, discovery, structure, responsibility, routine, and faith in each child’s ability.

She is a firm believer that there is a holistic way to approach the adaptation to and management of life with someone who presents ADHD symptoms, without the sole reliance on medication.

Today’s guest has been a college basketball player, Customer Service Manager then after his daughter was born, he became a police officer with the Cincinnati Police Department, where I was a SWAT Hostage Negotiator.

In early 2012 he was diagnosed with a rare form of Melanoma, which presented on the bottom of my foot. By the time the melanoma was detected, it had metastasized to a lymph node in my groin.

After two surgeries to remove the tumours, he was put on a weekly injection of the drug, Interferon, to help keep the disease from coming back.

He took those weekly injections for almost 5 years before the Interferon became so toxic to my body that I ended up in the Intensive Care Unit with a fever of 108 degrees.

There were times he felt so poorly and was in so much agony that he prayed to die. Each day was a struggle to use his mind to override his body's apathy and distress.

One thing he learnt during all his pain and suffering is that you have two choices. You can succumb to the debilitating discomfort and misery, or you can learn to embrace it and use it to make you a stronger and better human being and he chose the latter.

I realize pain and discomfort can beat you to your knees and keep you there if you let it. But I also came to appreciate that I could use my hurting and anguish to make me stronger and more resolute.

He has recently written a book, entitled Sustainable Excellence, Ten Principles to Leading Your Uncommon and Extraordinary Life, to help people find and live their uncommon and extraordinary life. His hope is that people who read the book will lead a life of significance, as well as a life of success.

If there is one thing, he’s learnt is that as long as you don’t quit, you can never be defeated.

This week’s guest is a multi-passionate mompreneur who loves to help women "shine within." She believes in living and leading with the heart (versus the mind) through energetic healing, intuitive development, holistic self-care, and creative expression.

Her nursing experience taught her a lot about the vulnerability in times of trauma, chaos, and tragedy. During her time in the critical care unit, she volunteered free Reiki sessions for her colleagues. It was during this period when she realized how much she loved providing gentle healing and balancing to the human spirit.

VAG CON envisions a shift in cultural perspectives by rising up and celebrating the divine feminine through the acceptance of women of all backgrounds. We see a gathering of soul sisters who are ready to ignite the divine feminine within us and around the world. We find new meaning to womanhood and femininity through a holistic approach by recruiting experts from the health, wellness, spiritual, business, and creative industries.

The goal of this first VAG CON is to bring together diverse women of all ages, ethnicities, sexual orientations, religious or spiritual beliefs, political and socioeconomic backgrounds. We believe in the divine feminine, a sacred energy force that stands for justice, peace, unity, creativity, love, and light. It is time to raise women’s voices through education, connection, and inspiration.

Hi, everyone, this week is the continuation  of the interview I had with a really really good friend of mine who I have known for the last, dare I say it, 25 years.

Lindsay McGinley has been a single mum on and off for 20+ years of 3 wonderful girls.

Previously I had worked with Lindsay in the insurance industry as a contact centre rep and then in many other project management roles…..however the universe had different plans for both of us – with me moving to London and then Australia and her married an army guy moving to Germany and having her youngest daughter Sophie.

Lindsay is now an artist, has moved back to the UK, and tragically 18 months ago she and the girls lost their darling husband and father to a heart attack and once again Lindsay is not only dealing with being a widow but a single mum again.

This week I have Adam Hooper talking to me - a sperm donor,

In 2015 after investing the standard donor processes in Australia he decided he didn't want to expose his 2 existing children to incest or for his sperm to go to someone who wasn't appropriate and created Sperm Donation Australia the first of his Sperm Donation World communities

Currently in Australia more and more people are looking to his community or similar as a way to find a donor and conceive their children over and above the more conventional clinic method.

Adam plans on changing the world for the better by breaking down the stigma and creating acceptance.

Today I have with me a passionate fun-loving lady, who does her utmost to help the parents and boys of my local football club perform at their very best by offering home cooked, natural, nutritious, and nourishing food in the club’s canteen.

Little do her customers know she is a single mum of a wonderful 12-year-old boy working as a Librarian at a local primary school in the week and running the cafe business at weekends

In her younger years she was in the Army Reserve driving trucks and learning how to shoot things and is currently studying a Bachelor of Science in Nutritional Medicine and is passionate about offering our kids nutritious and healthy options. steering them away from the 'fried chips and processed food' and offering healthier, homemade (but still fun and delicious) choices.

She has been doing the single mum thing for close to 7 years now.

It’s a real pleasure to see her friendly, positive self every Saturday.

After years as a consultant, recruiter, trainer, coach and mum, Diana felt stuck, frustrated, disappointed and quite anxious that she would never find direction or purpose beyond the home again and it wasn’t until her early 40’s when she finally realised (in her words) ‘what I wanted to be when I grew up!’

She realised that her experience of feeling terribly lost about what she wanted to do was incredibly common.

Diana could see so many other women feeling exactly the same way, and she realised there was an incredible opportunity to help and support these women as they navigated the process of re-connecting with their professional identity.

This was when Diana decided to develop a program to support mums wanting to go back to work. To get them past the fear and overwhelm and help them see, they have significant worth and value outside the home as well.
