We are working through the last chapter of the Book of Ephesians. Paul starts off with talking with the children and those who have their parents present in their lives on how they can glorify God through honoring their parents. Paul also emphasizes how it starts with the men on how they set the standard with the children and how to bring them up.
We are getting closer to the end of the road with the Book of Ephesians as we close out chapter 5. Although marriage is a common topic within the church, we dive into what it means to submit to one another and how we can either contribute to order or disorder within the family based on the priorities we have set.
Here “On The Road…Again” Podcast we continue our travels through the Book of Ephesians chapter 5 and we see how the Apostle Paul is setting us up for success but warning us about taking advice and guidance from this world and the avenues that this world offers false hope. But in all things we are called to submit to one another in service WITH the fear of the Lord.
We continue our journey with the Apostle Paul through the letter to the church in Ephesus. Paul continues with setting the standard of living as we journey through our transitioning period from “darkness to night” and from “death to life.” But most importantly, we need the assistance and the activation of the Holy Spirit so we know how to walk in all “goodness, righteousness and truth.”
We pick up where we left off with the Book of Ephesians chapter 5. We are seeing how we are called to be imitators of our Father in Heaven by way of Jesus the Christ.
On today’s episode, we continue through the Book of Ephesians and the Apostle Paul speaks on the transformation process when it comes to the way that we act, think, say and feel by taking off the old and putting on the new. We are no longer slaves to this world and its way of thinking but we are a new creation in Christ Jesus and have adopted a new way of life.
We are now on the back half of our journey through the Book of Ephesians. We see starting off within chapter 4, not just the attitude of one who serves the body but in addition the purpose of the 5 fold ministry and the role they play in our lives.
We are half way done with the Book of Ephesians here at On The Road…Again podcast. We finish chapter 3 seeing how our posture of prayer ought to be continuous and maintain a spirit of humility. All the while, we also examine the fact there is a spiritual war taking place, then and now, and how we need both the Holy Spirit and each other in order to be overcomer’s through Christ.
We continue our journey through the book of Ephesians here in this episode of On The Road… Again podcast. We come to the knowledge that the book of Ephesians is not just a prison epistle of the apostle Paul, but we also learn that we are fighting a spiritual battle against the kingdom of darkness who tries to kill, steel, and destroy our faith and tries to disrupt our walk in Christ. But the apostle Paul encourages us to pick up our weapons of our warfare, and to know that we have authority to fight through Christ.
We continue our “drive” through the Book of Ephesians and we see that we are reconciled not just unto the Father but unto one another and how crucial it is that not only are we built up spiritually but that we build each other up within the Body of Believers.
Our journey continues through the Book of Ephesians. We are introduced to the fact that we do have adversary during our faith journey who tries to keep us tied to our own pride and desires. The Good News? Because of FAITH IN JESUS, we are saved by faith through grace; not by our own works, but because of the finish work of the cross.

We are given the reason why the Apostle Paul was thankful and rejoiced over the church in Ephesus, and it was not just their faithfulness to Jesus but their faithfulness to the body of believers. We break down the importance of the body of believers and pray for those who have been hurt by the church.
Today we begin the journey through the Book of Ephesians. We examine how we gain much through Christ and the benefits we get to enjoy while being in Christ. All the while, we see that our faithfulness to Him during turbulent times is a testament to our character.

Stand guard, love on one another, and be safe.
