Circuit Riders
The Circuit Rider Training Podcast exists to encourage our generation to live the lifestyle of Jesus. We collaborate with ministries and leaders across the globe to equip young people that are dedicated to multiplying the message of the gospel. From this collection of teachings, you will be trained and commissioned to use your passions and skills for the Kingdom of God.

Amy Ward teaches from 1 Corinthians 12 teaching on the gifts of the Spirit and answers questions from the CRX about how to operate in them. She defines the gifts of knowledge, discernment of spirits, the gifts of power, and the vocal gifts and goes through how each one operates and their purpose in the body of Christ. Amy talks about how we can let our presumptions about how the Holy Spirit operates can get in the way of the Holy Spirit and she teaches the CRX how to operate in each gift in a way to represent Jesus rightly. It is an important lesson on how to be a human and operate in the power and knowledge of the Holy Spirit by loving well and making mistakes.
Amy Ward teaches the CRX how the Holy Spirit is God and who he is and where he appears throughout the scriptures. She brings the school of the reality of waiting and experiencing the Holy Spirit fall at Pentecost. She then teaches about the attributes of the Holy Spirit in the Bible and how he can operate in our daily lives.
Peter Louis begins the second day teaching about the perfection of the cross. He talks about how our old self has been buried and how we must walk in the new inheritance he’s given us. He talks about how we must release the power we’ve given to man-made ministry and behold the power of the cross. He dives deep into a revelation of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus and he tells us to surrender to the crosses all encapsulating love of God.
Peter Louis starts day one of gospel week explaining how we must not only know the gospel, but we must also consume and take part in it. He urges us to never look beyond the cross and the sacrifice of Jesus for everything, because everything else will fall short of our expectations. It’s an invitation to allow the gospel to offend, change, and speak truth into our lives and never move past the blood of Jesus.
Michael Pierce teaches during Voices week on the importance of understanding the significance of Christianity in all races and cultures. He goes into the scriptures to highlight the evidence of people from many different backgrounds that were affected by God and the Bible. He confronts the belief that Christianity belongs only to white men by talking about the history of missions while also addressing the history of injustices done by people who've warped Christianity.
Yasmine Pierce teaches on understanding on having a worldview of how important it is to use the power of our voice to empower the marginalized. She teaches how biblically the scripture teaches us that Jesus has a plan to have all nations come to himself. She emphasizes the fact that laborers are few and that many people have been disempowered to preach the gospel because of their ethnicity. It’s an important topic because it was the heart of Jesus’ ministry to empower the marginalized and broken, and believers it is something we must emulate.
Matthew Nelson teaches on the topic of injustices from the Freedom Manual. He explains how injustice is usually the root of strongholds and sin patterns and teaches us to aim for the roots of injustice to experience true freedom. He teaches us how to recognize injustices in our lives and uses the Freedom Manual to create a framework for pulling the root of injustice.
Matt finishes off the week teaching on power and authority, defining both and teaching on why both are so important as a Christian. He goes into scripture to reveal how both power and authority have been given to those who believe in Jesus and how to operate in both against the schemes of the enemy.
Matt Nelson teaches the CRX about the importance of taking authority over words and phrases that come out of our mouths. He teaches us how powerful speaking words of life are in spiritual warfare and how dangerous words of death can be.
Matt Nelson defines for us what strongholds are in spiritual warfare and he gives us tools to operate in spiritual warfare. He gives us practicals for walking in breakthrough with the 4 r's from the Freedom Manual.
Matt Nelson overviews freedom and teaches on Original Design from the Freedom Manual. He draws our attention to the freedom and deliverance that Jesus brings to us by our identity. It goes against our own perception of freedom that we expect a harsh rebuke or correction and is done in love.
Derek Mack summarizes the history of the original Circuit Riders, and all the information we have about their history to this point. From the shores of England to the frontiers of America the Circuit Riders have a long history of pioneering America and seeing revival.
Derek Mack shares a message about the Courageous Heart of Christ from the Culture Shift Manual. He brings us into the Biblical expression of courage, represented by the life of Jesus, and how we can live that our in our own lives.

Lenny Hernandez speaks to the DTS about words of knowledge and walking actively in that spiritual gift. Lenny explains that there are no levels of anointing, rather we are fully anointed where we stand now and need to exercise the gifts. Lenny speaks on John 4 and the woman at the well, explaining what faith can do in the room and for ministry.
Jake Mason speaks on relationships - sharing from his experience, his marriage and the Bible. He explains the importance of marring someone who has a similar calling to you while also emphasizing that God won’t force you into a relationship or marriage. Jake tells of his and his wife’s story and shares advice that he learned along the way.
Jake Mason shares what the Seven Spheres are and how they shape the way we live. Jake asks the question, how many of these spheres are shaped by a biblical worldview? He encourages the school to be sure that the things of the world are not influencing us more than our biblical worldview is influencing us. Jake states that believers are meant to disciple the nations and explains that in order to disciple, we must open our mouths and take a stand- not by creating a new system but by walking in the power of the Spirit.
Jake Mason teaches on the four laws of logic, emphasizing the importance of agreeing with the truth of Scripture in our lives. Jake explains that the truth is Jesus and that is what we should build our lives upon. He mentions that as believers of Jesus, we will disagree with other people and emphasizes if we don’t stand on the Rock that is the truth of Jesus, we will fall. Jake encourages the school that Scripture is everything and to build our lives upon it, with reverence and the fear of God. Jake ends the podcast by explaining why we trust the Bible as believers.
Zach Nash shares how God is grafting people into the Circuit Rider storyline, explaining what it looks like to carry the DNA of a Circuit Rider and a leader. Zach shares his testimony with the school as well as stories from his DTS, emphasizing that God meets us in our weakest and most vulnerable states. Zach encourages the school to expand their mindsets from "doing a DTS" to realizing God is writing a much larger storyline. Zach touches on the mantle of field evangelism falling on Circuit Riders, what faith can look like and the joy that comes with laying our life down to see the revival Jesus is creating.

Chase encourages the school to keep giving their yes to Jesus, highlighting that we will never know what can come of our simple acts of obedience. Chase explains that expansion of the Kingdom comes when we say yes. He then highlights the importance of servant heartedness, telling the story of Jesus washing the disciples feet. Chase encourages the school to remain in the active love of Christ and ends his time by sharing how he and his wife Lindy said yes to adoption.

He shares his ability to find deeper intimacy and friendship with Jesus through this unique time in his life, encouraging the school to go after the same thing. Chase emphasizes the importance of diving head first into the active love of Christ, explaining how it will allow the Lord to do the most in our lives. Chase says the key to deeper transformation is to be undone at who Jesus is and concludes his time with a prayer for a deeper love encounter.

JT asks us to consider what a Jesus protest would look like and urges us to evaluate whether or not the Bible is informing how we engage with the world.

Through his personal experience with his aunt, Nina Simone, and brother, Jaye Thomas, we learn about music birthed from black culture. JT speaks on the righteousness and justice of God. He emphasizes that the Gospel of Jesus is a Gospel of justice but that there can't be true justice apart from Jesus.
JT Thomas, founder of Civil Righteousness, shares part of his story and brings us into the storyline of what God is doing in the African American community. We learn more about racial injustice, pathologies of oppression and God's redemptive nature. He emphasizes that God is present in times of trouble and the importance of Biblical unity.
Taylor continues his teaching on Biblical Worldview. He emphasizes that as Christians, we don't get to pick and choose what we want to obey. Taylor highlights the importance of knowing the truth and growing in intimacy with God, even when out flesh doesn't want to.
Taylors Stutts teaches on what it means to have a Biblical Worldview. He tells his testimony of realizing the importance of having a Biblical foundation and explains the power of being hungry for the Word of God. We learn the importance of allowing God's Word to change our lives.
Lindy continues to share on what it means, as believers, to live out our identity as priests. We are encouraged to not only live set apart but also to stand in the gap for people so that they can be made right with God.
Lindy speaks on our identity as Christ followers and who we are as a priesthood. She explains why that's relevant today, not just part of the Old Testament. We learn the importance of being set apart from the world, not defined by it. She emphasizes that obedience and surrender are keys to bringing us closer to God and living out our true identity.
Lindy teaches on what it means to live a lifestyle of worship. She shares her testimony and the process of fully surrendering to God. We learn that true worship and true pursuit of God lays a foundation of friendship with Him that will continue on in eternity. We are inspired to get rid of a religious mindset towards worship and return to the kind of worship described in the Bible.
Chris Burns shares practicals on how to cultivate intimacy with God. We learn why discipline and consistency are important for building relationship, and how to enter our quiet time with our hearts positioned to receive from the Lord. Chris ends with suggestions on how to establish these practices in prayer.

He ends by sharing testimonies of great people who took God at His Word and radically changed the world because of it.

He emphasizes that if Jesus needed the Holy Spirit, how much more does every believer need to be trusting and listening to the Holy Spirit as well. We learn that prayer is the key to moving God's heart, and when it's done from a place of friendship not duty, it can allow us to live out the unimaginable. Sammy uses Salvation Encounter to speak on evangelism. He encourages us to preach the full Gospel even if we are uncomfortable and reminds us that we don't save people, Jesus does. Sammy challenges us not to let evangelism be limited to certain hours of our week, rather to let it overflow into our everyday encounters with people.
Holly continues on the topic of freedom, with an emphasis on strongholds and injustices. We learn that most things we are struggling with can be traced back to a deficiency of love or a deficiency of truth. We are given practical tools for tearing down strongholds in our lives and walking into total freedom.
Matt shares a bit of his story and introduces the freedom we have available to us through Jesus. We learn that even as Christians, there are times when we may have to fight against our sinful nature but that admitting our struggle is not shameful, rather a sign of humility. He uses the story of Joshua in the Bible to inspire us to take possession of our promised freedom and fight to drive the enemy out.
Amy Ward teaches on what it means to walk out in the power of the Holy Spirit. She emphasizes that as believers, the Holy Spirit is a friend that wants to be involved in our daily lives and that without him we can’t walk in the fullness of what God has for us. We learn that through being obedient to the voice of the Holy Spirit we gain wisdom and power.
Amy Ward teaches on the biblical scriptures we find about the baptism of the Holy Spirit. When we are continually filled with the Holy Spirit and allow Him to have control in our lives, we are clothed in power and operate in the spirit. By His spirit we can operate in our giftings, speak in a heavenly language, and walk in the fullness of our faith in Jesus Christ.

Brian Brennt explains how surrender is essential for total freedom in our lives. We learn that we have to be willing to surrender our right to convenience, comfort, appearance, and recognition, in order for God to use us in wild ways!
