The idea for GGWP Academy was born and based on Jacquie’s experience as a gamer, her family being a gaming family, but perhaps most significantly her son being a gifted gamer at 9 years old and making an income of $15k a year for this unique skill and capability.

GGWP Academy became a reality when Jacquie made the idea a reality when she successfu7oly pitched after an arduous qualification process to be admitted into the world’s only Esports Start Up Accelerator “Lead Sports Accelerator in Germany. This meant Jacquie had to leave her family for 4 months to participate in the Accelerator Program.

Who are our guests?

Peter joined Everymind in January 2019 as Project Lead for the Mental Health and Research team, with a focus on supporting mental health and small business. With more than five years’ experience in mental health project management and policy development, Peter has specialised in system and service improvement projects at both national and local levels and clinical settings. He has previous experience in international development and human resource management. Peter is passionate about improving outcomes for people with lived experience of mental ill-health, their families and support people, and reducing stigma around mental health issues and will be fielding your specific questions during the course of our webcast.

Peter will be joined by Tarnya Davis, the Director and Principal Clinical Psychologist at NewPsych a Newcastle based psychlogy practice which Tarnya founded upon her return from her work as a psychologist in the UK.
