This is a podcast started by Sussex Men's Hockey to raise awareness for mental health and to shine more light on sports at university. We feel that if we speak about the different sides to mental health and not only how it affects us but also how we deal with it, it may encourage people to talk about mental health more and make them feel more comfortable opening up about subjects they talk about less. We also want to shine a light on sports more at Sussex as it is such a massive part of our lives. We hope you enjoy it!

Welcome to episode 14 of the podcast! This week's episode is hosted by three lovely gentlemen by the names of Matty Marett, Owain Boffey and Rollo Squire with a guest star by the name of Arian Chehreh. Arian is the manager of a very successful events company in Brighton known as Fat Poppadaddys who are known for doing their main events at Chalk, a well-known night club in Brighton. In this episode, the boys ask Arian about night safety, especially with students. Arian tells us how about they make their events a friendly environment, what their main protocols are, how they manage tricky situations, and how they dealt with the major spike problem within Brighton nightlife. We also ask Arian about how he remains calm in stressful situations and then we all discuss the best methods to ensure the best safety for students on nights out.
