We all need a safe space, a place to showcase it all whether it's the good, the bad or the ugly. Often I find myself feeling as if there are not many places to do this. Or if there is, there's backlash and individuals are quick to showcase their feelings no matter the affect. This can heavily turn you and your comfortability against your own self and shut many doors. The Ugly, Beautiful Truth is a safe space where it is all laid out. With no embarrassment or judgement, we will have those conversations about things that may have started as an ugly truth but blossomed into a beautiful story.
Buckle up everyone...this is a good one. Today I was lucky enough to be joined by Ms. Hayley Myers to talk about confidence! From the second I met Hayley, I knew her to be a strong and confident young woman. Although her strong persona was a bit intimidating at first, I have gotten to know her and see what she has built for herself, and I could not be more proud. Hayley is someone who I look up to in many parts of life, but this one especially. I invited her onto the podcast because we experience similar day-to-day life with school and our environment. In addition to that, we have similar views on society and the world. She is building a foundation, a safe space like I am with this podcast, and I knew she would be someone great to have this conversation with. We hope you enjoy it!

Hayley and Sophia

Today we are talking about dreams and taking those significant steps in life. Everybody on this earth has a dream...maybe a million dreams, but what are they doing about it? There are a million and one questions regarding this idea, but it all leads down to you. What are you doing about your dreams? Are you taking steps to achieve them? Are you fulfilling your purpose and happiness in life? Most of the time, we are not. Fear is our biggest enemy in this subject and many others, but it does not mean you have to let it stop you. Lots of love, forever and always.

We never truly know what is going on in someone else's life. Whether they may be a family member, a friend or even a stranger, it is so important to be kind and patient towards others. Being kind and taking acts as such can make a world of a difference for anyone. It makes them happy, it makes you happy and brightens their world up. Even if its effects is just for a day, it is worth being kind. This is just a little reminder as we go into this next week. Thanks for hanging with me.

Hey everyone, I hope all is well!! Today I wanted to talk about mental health and the side effects of it. In no way am I saying that I know everything about mental health and its' side effects, I am just speaking on my experiences and what I know from it. I want to be there for as many others as I can and thats why I am taking this step to be as vulnerable as I am and will be. So cheers to my first official step!! Thank you for all of the support and love regarding The Ugly, Beautiful Truth and I! F + A, Sophia
