Today, more and more people are struggling with their emotions and realize that how they react and respond has not been healthy for themselves,  their children , family members, and close friends and others . 

This podcast is a conversation about the ways in which we can better understand and  respond more effectively to the stressful moments in our daily life---and gain control of that merry go round called life.

Take a time out , grab a cup of tea or coffee  and listen to the stories of others who were once struggling with  what was happening in the world  and learn how they were able to respond more effectively when in a more emotionally healthy frame of mind. Simple changes to how they processed and responded to these stressful moments had a more positive impact on their family and friends .

Timeout for parents is a conversation on the importance of emotional healthy parenting. We will be discussing the three R’s. Retreat, Release, Regroup and the effectiveness when applied throughout the week. 

Parents are often overwhelmed with work, bills and managing life. Single parents especially are forced to carry the weight of their entire family on their shoulders. Which leads to stress frustration and negative interactions at home. 

Learning to retreat, release and regroup will allow you the time to reflect on what's happening with you personally, reflect on what's important. Which is not destroying our love ones through negative interactions. 

Practicing the three R’s during your timeout will have a positive impact on the people you love.
