A "trigger warning" may be necessary for this story, as it shares intimate details of my journey during the time when my baby was in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit fighting for his life. (I mention Flight for Life, IV placements, Postpartum depression, & other related experiences)
This story is mostly upbeat, but has its heavy moments. I respect where each mom may be in their journey, and never want to trigger one into negative memories; at times however, the details come out and are useful to share to those ready to hear.

I wrote on the white board before quickly rushing out of my house: Leave me alone.
I didn’t really want to be left alone, but I didn’t want the chaos that came with what lay behind the door holding my warning to those brave enough to follow me.
I just needed a break, a moment of surrender to cleanse myself of the circumstances that invite our expansion.
Like Jackson Kiddard says……anything that annoys me is teaching me patience, anything that angers you is teaching you forgiveness & compassion, etc. ect.
I invite you to a moment of my surrender through this story, and the joy that comes from feeling supported by something bigger than me.

One foggy evening, I get a knock on our home door that, at first glance, appears to be a mistake…..
…As the plot thickens, it became clear there was no mistake….THIS was a Divine intervention- a moment in time that set the stage for future joy.
The best stories are not our LIFE story, but moments in time that touched our hearts and expanded our minds, elevating our humanity.
This is Origin Story. Enjoy!
