Planeta Patineta, Spanish for Skate Planet, is a podcast that serves as a platform for Chicago’s local and Midwest skaters to share their stories, creative endeavors and give listeners an insight into their busy lives revolved around skate culture. Not many take a chance on skateboarding and relocate to a new city searching for growth opportunities in such a competitive sport. Access to public transit and endless street spots highlight Nae’s experiences living in the city. For Nae, Chicago has become a skate heaven in comparison to her upbringing in Champaign, IL.
