We have all heard it before, the classic and oh so dreaded "I'm not ready for a relationship" line. Whether you are the one giving it or receiving it, it's generally never what a person wants to hear. As someone who has spent far too much of my time contemplating what it means when they say "I'm not ready for a relationship" I am hear to shed some light on what it means when they say they aren't ready for a relationship, how to avoid getting to this point in a relationship and my best tips for progressing at the same pace as your partner.

Relationships are TOUGH, but I know I made them 10x harder in my own head.

Today we are talking relationships, dating advice and mixed signals in a relationship. Post breakup clarity is a real thing and let me tell you what, working on myself has made my past even more crystal clear. We call them mixed signals, but is there really a such thing as mixed signals? Or are we just ignoring the obvious and allowing behavior we don't want instead of accepting the behavior we deserve. Oh the lessons I have learned over the years, oh the lessons I'm sure are still to come. I don't have it all figured out, but I'm optimistic about where I'm headed in this department.

Ever wondered why the chase in dating gets you so hooked? Join me as we unravel the science behind our addiction to romantic uncertainty, diving into the role dopamine plays in this never-ending cycle. Discover how the anticipation of a reward and the uncertainty of the outcome can skyrocket our dopamine levels, leading to the addictive nature of the chase in dating.

But fear not! We also delve into the science of love, attraction, and monogamy, examining the roles of other neurotransmitters such as cortisol, serotonin, oxytocin, and vasopressin. Learn the importance of taking time away from dating to cultivate self-produced dopamine through high-quality activities, like building new skills and deepening your friendships. By understanding the science behind dating, you'll gain a greater understanding of yourself, your relationships, and how to break free from the dopamine-driven chase.

Let's talk diet! When I started my health and wellness journey this year, diet was goal number one. I know it sounds dramatic, but I'm serious when I say that doing the Whole30 diet changed my life. Please go back and watch my first videos if you haven't already!

Anywho, after seeing what a difference diet made in my life I am on a mission to investigate and understand the biggest diets out there and today we are talking about the keto diet. I am joined by health coach, Julie Saad, who is a keto expert and specializes in helping women with ADHD reduce or eliminate their symptoms through the keto diet.

She explains what the keto diet is, how the keto diet works, what your macro counts need to be in order to be successful on the keto diet, understanding the science before the keto diet and how the keto diet has been shown to not only help with weight loss but also reduce symptoms of a plethora of mental health disorders including ADHD.

We challenge you to reframe your mindset and challenge the narratives around diet. Your diet is a personal choice, but have you ever considered if keto could be right for you?

In this week's solo episode get ready for a MAJOR life update! I am so excited for this next chapter in my life and I can't wait to share it with you all!! this year has been a whirlwind in the best way possible and with that comes a lot of feelings good and bad. this week I talk about overcoming perfectionism, my fear of failure, and the fear of what other people think. I'm in a constant battle with my own thoughts and I know I'm not alone on this one. all of us have dreams, goals, and aspirations, but so many of us let our fears and imperfections keep us from truly pursuing them.  I'm right there with yall, trust me, it isn't easy so let's normalize these feelings and lean into that uncomfortably. As cliche as it is, growth truly does begin outside of our comfort zones.

Realizing just how badly I spoke to myself and making the conscious effort to shift my perspective has been one of the most transformative experiences on my self love journey so far.

Your limiting beliefs are a direct reflection of your fear and doubt. Until you become brutally aware of the way you speak to yourself and make the proactive effort to flip the script and eliminate your negative self talk, your life will continue to be a reflection of your fear and doubt.

I am on the journey of eliminating my limiting beliefs  and I want to share with you how I do it. Be easy on yourself, this is a skill you will be using for the rest of your life!
