Join your hosts, Caleb and Josh and frequent co-host Gabe, on a comedy podcast. It's like a late-night show without any guests you've ever heard of. In fact, it's a show without anyone you've ever heard of. We'll have jokes and songs and fun. Segments. Sketches. Let's enjoy ourselves in a podcast that's like a late night variety show for irresponsible parents.
Question from a friend in a little old place you maybe mighta heard of. Discussion of tumbleweed employment, presidents, and the internet's new word. It's a fun one. If you're down, listen up!
Question from Joy about a drawing her child did in church! We discuss it! We touch on midwest cuisine, the feeling of cosmic domination, and much more!
We received a mysterious letter! In the mail. Containing multiple different variety of questions. In varying formats. Scushin of baths, minjas.
Ever wonder how that book got from the author's brain into your grimy hands (gunk, mud)? Join us as we dig deep into the inner workings of the publishing world, and touch on topics like literacy, the duties of the vice-president, and workplace accidents.
Justin has to wait for Doctor. No, don't want to talk about why. We help him think of how to not think of his health being bad.
We imagine being subservients in one of the great English houses. We choose our belowstairs guys.
INTRODUCING A NEW PODCAST TO THE AAT FAMILY OF PODCASTS: GuyBoys
Lots of guys out there. Groups of guys. Lawyers are a group of guys. Con Artists are another. But it's not like every single guy in the group of guys is exactly alike. They're different.
Listen as each of us pick our GUYS.
Pipes vs tubes? Joy being herself out in public, solving people’s problems? It’s another great episode!
This JUST-IN, we have a question from Justin! He's back and we're nice to him! Caleb explores a new career path. Gabe demonstrates his knowledge of the Red Hot Chili Peppers. It's a fun ep. Song at the end.
Jump for JOY! Another question from the SAMPSON FILES, where they do things a little differnt. I've heard of hummus but HOMELESS? Caleb has something in common with Napoleon. Gabe braves public disapproval to help one of God's most disgusting creatures.
Joy is back with more classic SAMPSON TALES. Get a behind the scenes look at one of the greatest families to ever do it. We got songs. We got pedantry AND pageantry. Have a listen, won't you?
Wow! Long ep! But full of good stuff. Wheelchair alternatives. Question from Joy. Night out at a fancy restaurant. Songs about tragedy and Faux Pas. Check it out!
Mysterious question! Discussion of package delivery in major metrops! Gollum’s Spiritual Life! Poems, songs! This one’s got it all.
Question from POWER USER, Joy. It is an question that is an image. Topics include TMNT, hungry Judges, fun chats with the police.
BACK TO BACK EPS WIT JUSTIN. We try some different things on this one! We try talking about the military and bears. Justin asks us to summarize a book that we haven't read so he doesn't have to read it. Several short songs DURING THE EPISODE.
LANDMARK EPISODE.
He's a visual man, with an artistic hand, finger on the trigger.
We answer the question and it's easy for us.
We talk about consent, hot dogs, setting timers, AND THAT'S IT.
Song at the end.
Check out the bandcamp.
The guys try to help Steven understand what something is. They talk hamsters, donkeys, poetry, proper building ventilation. Song at the end.
It's almost like we planned this one to come out about two weeks before a special holiday. That's right, this is our Mother's Day episode! Just a little less than two weeks early! Brief mention of hoagies. Song at the end.
We love to have question from real actual Sim. Topic of interest is like things about turkey hunting and butlers. Song at the end.
Question about thieving. Ripping off the man. Stealing. Discussion of Highlander. Song at the end.
Wow. Caleb, Gabe, and Josh provide an episode full of great stuff. We've heard of "God's Law"? But what about "Dog's Law"? You'll find the answer to that question and more if you "sit" up and "paw" attention to this ep.
People think we have great taste. Ask my dog. My dog licks my leg. My dog thinks I have a great taste. A beautiful question from a younger listener. Song at the end. Thanks!
BREAKING! We have a CEO asking questions of li'l ol' US? You bet your sweet lil' ol' behind we do! And a very special scene this week - you just might learn something.
A very tricky question from Joy. We weren't tricked, saw through it immediately - but we were able to see the trick. Kind of like the way a coyote can identify a trap, but still respect the hunter. The coyote sees the hunter across a canyon and gives a little nod. And the hunter is like, "Huh?"
A scene, a song.
Great question, Joy! We talk about "Don't Ask, Don't Tell", The Beatles, and emergency birthing procedures. Song at the end. Big fun, much happy.
The guys get a taste of their own medicine when they receive a meandering question that goes on too long. Many thanks to Justin. Song at the end. Peace.
A listener has a question about handling embarrassment. The guys have answers. They use scene work to explore the question, and we end on a song. Gee thanks for listening!
We have a, frankly, disgusting question from a wonderful listener who's been with us for quite a while. Much discussion of hygiene. We attempt to employ a new technique! Song at the end, as is pretty typical.
What do you do about email? Is it worth trying to delight in a thankless medium like email? Find out!
Joy's has a question about a situation that's making her anxious, but Josh, Gabe, and Caleb are undaunted. One of the best/most comprehensive answers they've ever given.
Caleb, Gabe, and Josh deal with a question from a listener about what must be done differently.
Okay, that's interesting. We get a question, we answer it. I guess that's all there is to it!
Caleb, Gabe, and Josh get a question from a longtime collaborator about some dark thoughts he's been dealing with that have nothing to do with them.
Caleb, Gabe, and Josh know a lot about the Amish and refuse to hide their lights under a bushel. Question from an Amish man. Listen up. You WILL learn something. Also, the guys draw attention to some comments on Spotify made by listener/contributor/collaborator, Cy.
Okay - this is an interesting one for the guys. That doesn't mean it's difficult or something. It's actually very easy.
We're releasing this one early, since it doesn't make any sense to release a Halloween-related episode after Halloween.
Very bubbly ep (like a witch's cauldron)!
Question from Justin, about oatmeal as an indicator in relationships.
Check it out!
A rural question from a friend. A series of answers that appear to originate from heaven itself. You love it! Check it out.
Question from a strange contributor, all about FEAR.
Gabe, Caleb, and Josh answer - I think - quite bravely.
Send your questions (audio files, about a minute long) to advancedansweringtechniques@gmail.com
The fellas deal with a series of questions from a . . . neurally complex podcast user. They excavate one or two underlying questions and interact with those as well!
The guys answer a question, a medical question. Tune in to find out their Doctor Styles.
A user question provokes a far ranging conversation of incredibly linear dimensions. Listen up! About doors and tunnels and all kinds of stuff.
A so-called "advanced question" in need of advanced answering! Given that deodorant is bad, but smelling bad is also less-than-ideal, what ought one do?
The answer to this question and more, within.
The Glowing Hour is continuing its beautiful transformation into Advanced Answering Techniques! We received a Glowment from our star contributor, which means that this person did not exactly UNDERSTAND THE ASSIGNMENT! Which is totally fine. We all have . . .
BIG REVEAL in this episode! We discuss some of our Newest Skills, and then move into some INTERESTING TERRITORY. Glowment from Joy!
NOTE: the song towards the end has curse words in it.
The guys deliver the Labor Day ep everyone's been clamoring for. And not a moment too soon!
Also, clever listeners will be able to glean big news about the future of the podcast!
The guys work together to describe the ULTIMATE vacation. Josh follows up with his daughters about some complaints they had last week. What would your ULTIMATE vacation be?
Frequent collaborator Joy sends in a glowment that has the guys wondering, "What's my anesthesia style?"
Gabe and Caleb chat about what is and isn't an episode of the podcast, and discuss Josh's strange absence.
Caleb has continuing trouble with his neighbor. Gabe and Josh do everything they can to help him out. New song.
Gabe is back! A user-submitted Glowment sets off a conversation about a sartorial update for a favorite character. Listen up!
This ep is just Josh and Caleb. Sorry for the late upload. Sorry for not having Gabe on. We regret everything.
Caleb's neighbor is making his life practically intolerable. Find out why! Then listen to a couple great user-submitted Glowments, and probably the worst song we've ever included. Check it out!

Recorded without an audience, in the studio! THRILL at a lost AirPod! CHILL at graphic descriptions of a Renaissance Faire! SPILL curry on a brand new shirt!
The show is live, and a li'l shorter this week. But there's something else kind of special about this ep. It has some surprises. Hunt with Caleb. Parent with Gabe. Go to church with Josh.

We were pretty sneaky on this ep. Whoa. We got away with something. Sometimes we can be very sneaky indeed. Indeed. The funny thing is, IT WORKED. No one's the wiser. A certain little bird told me that. Heh-heh.
Yeah, whatever. So we didn't do any of our own Glowments. Is that supposed to be some kind of crime? We did all user-submitted Glowments, okay? Now quit riding my BUTT about it.
We got some Parables. We got guys who live in prison, or jail. We got way too many kids, and hardly a way to count 'em.

We struggle with the live incarnation of the show. Sometimes when we perform the audience doesn't like it. They watch us and are not pleased with us. Sometimes one of our wives is in the audience.
One time we had a show that we thought went really poorly. Then the wife was asked about it. She said, "Oh, it seemed fine." Then a little while after that, we had a different show, and we said, "That went better!" This, we said it to the wife. So the wife replied to the utterance and said, "Oh, it seemed fine."
What we're learning is that it doesn't matter how we feel. Our feelings are in our hearts and in our ears, and we must learn to be deaf to them.
So here's a really excellent episode. We believe in it. We believe in the user submitted Glowments, and we have a father/son set this week. CHECK IT OUT!

Live yet again from Humble Burger, we want to warn SENSITIVE LISTENERS that people are swearing on this episode. We dig into a Glowment for Podcast User Mike, and find that he is something of an equal opportunity offender. We also have a Glowment from Podcast User Stephen and conduct a scathing evisceration of his family culture.
Fun Game is now called Aud Part, because it is an odd part of the show and is also Audience Participation. Amusings. GNBN. Coupla songs. Parables.

Live again from Humble Burger, we want to warn SENSITIVE LISTENERS that during Caleb's Glowment of the Week he lets some bathroom and flatulence-type humor rip. We are only human. We also really dig into a Glowment of the Week from listener/user Stephen.
Ya got a Fun Game at the top, Good News/Bad News, "Musings" have become "Amusings", we do some ads, and have a song about a HORSE.

This episode - our second live one EVER - is packed. Some might say over-stuffed. Musings, Parables, so on and so forth. We've got an absolutely incredible coincidence that ends up shifting the Glowments a bit, so watch out for that. SPOILER ALERT: If you've ever wanted to find out the twist ending to The Sixth Sense, we've got a song to help you out.

Back on track this week - we've got Josh and Caleb, and Gabe. We've got a new segment called Prove Me Wrong. We find ourselves Musing[s] about toast, and technological innovators, and balloon etiquette. Good News, Bad News - Glowments of the Week. We've got something for everybody, including a short rap song from Eliot. Check it out.
Also, we've got some songs up on our bandcamp for you to check out: https://theglowinghour.bandcamp.com/
This week's episode diverges a little - just Josh and Caleb, and without our typically weekly segments. We do Ads and Quotes 2.0. Then the guys write a helpful letter for Gabe. There's a song towards the end. We think this is going to be your kind of thing.
Also, we put some of the songs up on our bandcamp: https://theglowinghour.bandcamp.com/
This episode starts of with a spot-on impression. Good New, Bad News is pretty medical this time around. Caleb and Josh trade Parables with a serendipitous connection. Gabe is blessed to be witness to a holy wonder in the grocery store parking lot in Glowments of the Week. Caleb goes off the beaten path in Moviechat.org Chat, and we end on a song about an emotionally precarious movie star.
We're gathering some of the songs from past episodes here on bandcamp. Check 'em out!
The second episode of The Glowing Hour Podcast with Caleb, Gabe, and Josh. We share jokes that Joe Biden didn't want. Caleb presents a parable. Doctor Kevorkian makes an appearance on "Good News, Bad News". Caleb muses about horses. A country song about a question a five year old girl poses to her dad. Caleb and Gabe experience a weird thematic synchronicity on "Glowment of the Week". Caleb shares some updated quotes. Gabe presents a fascinating look at a post about The Menu on Moviechat.org. We close on a final song about a ride at the amusement park.
ALSO, Josh had production and composition assistance on the song "Bumper Boats" from Eliot Stevenson, which Josh should have mentioned in the episode.
Come with us and enjoy a more than a half-hour of fun on a podcast that people describe as previously less than a half-hour.
The first episode of The Glowing Hour Podcast with Caleb, Gabe, and Josh. Listen up. We talk a little about The Santa Clause. Josh reads an essay. Stay on your toes for our famous "Good News, Bad News" segment. We catch up with the guys on "Glowment of the Week", hear some fables from Caleb, and end on a song.
Come with us and enjoy a wonderful half-hour of fun on a podcast that people describe as nearly a half-hour.
Check out the trailer for a show so nice, they bought it mice. A show so fine, it shimmers with shine. It's The Glowing Hour. Caleb and Josh host, with frequent help from Gabe. Check it out. It's a podcast trailer that doesn't quit. Check it out.
