Stephanie and I talked about the challenges of being a Kingdom entrepreneur. We also talked about how the Lord Ordered Her Steps through the different seasons of her life and the miraculous path that the Lord laid for her to meet her husband, Bryan, and more.
Stephanie brings her tea to various events in the lower Southeast and is always available on her website cornerstoneteacompany.com. Her husband of nearly 5 years, Bryan, is affectionately called "Mr. Tea Lady"despite only moonlighting as her employee. She is always willing to talk about three things: Jesus, tea, and plants.

As we try to move forward, if we are still stuck, there will be no change without a battle, if only in our thoughts. We must want what the Lord has promised us.Â
Joshua, Yeshua, a picture of Jesus, the conqueror. The Old Testament is Jesus concealed, and the New Testament is Jesus, revealed. As we fight, just like Joshua, we draw from the Lordâs strength, not ours. The Holy Spirit continues to remind me that we are not going where we think, and it will take a lot more effort than we thought.Â
We will have to fight for whatâs ahead of us, Iâm not sure why we thought that it would be easy. The Lord told Joshua...

The Promised Land, the promises of God are already ours. The Lord knows our heart, but do we know where our hearts are?Â
Store your treasures in heaven, where moths and rust cannot destroy, and thieves do not break in and steal. Wherever your treasure is, there the desires of your heart will also be. - Matthews 6:20-21
As we consider the question, Where is our heart... it will require us to do a reality check and some serious soul searching! We must no longer simply serve the Lord in words, but in our deeds. The Lord knows our heart, but do we know our heart? We must answer that question, before we can truly walk in what the Lord has promised us.

In Luke 17, as Jesus was talking to His disciples about the coming of the Kingdom of God. Now I must admit, I must do a lot more studying to understand the full extent of this conversation, however, in verse 32, Jesus said, âRemember Lotâs wifeâ. You may remember the story of Abrahamâs nephew, Lot, and his wife who had to flee Sodom and Gomorrah because God was going to destroy the city for its wickedness. They were told â Donât Look Back"! Unfortunately, Lotâs wife turned and looked back, longing to return to the life she knew, and she became a pillar of salt. She now represents those who are so attached to earthly things, and whose hearts are still in this world. In Proverbs 4:23 NLT, it says, "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life". The Lord knows our heart, but do you know your heart?

I must take you back to the inception of my Holy Ghost Downloads podcast. The first episode was entitled âWe will walk across on dry landâ, which was an interesting message while we were deep in the throes of a pandemic. The Holy Spirit wanted us to know that the children of Israel were leaving Egypt after more than 400 years of bondage and in some ways, so were we. We are entering the next leg of the journey as we are âCrossing the Jordanâ. We may not be totally in the clear, however, we are so much better than we were when we began this extremely difficult journey. When the Israelites left the wilderness, they had to cross the Jordan and although the land was theirs, they still had to defeat all the inhabitants before they could possess the land. We too are Crossing the Jordan, but are we willing to fight to possess what the Lord has promised us...

This episode is not designed to address those that have been wounded by major trauma, emotional & physical abuse, or the loss of a loved one. Although there may be scriptures that will apply.  However, I do want to speak to those that have been hurt emotionally and or offended by others. The Bible says,Â
The spirit of a man will sustain his infirmity; but a wounded spirit who can bear? Â The human spirit can endure a sick body, but who can bear a crushed spirit?
The most hurtful part about being wounded is that in many cases, the person is not an enemy, but someone who we thought was a friend, or worse yet, a very close family member. How could they have done that? I thought they loved me. I trusted them. Not only how, but why becomes a better question. Let's search the scriptures for some answers,,,

I would like to ask you a question, âif we knew that our life pleased the Lord would it make us happy?â It is with this question, that I believe that the Lord has asked us to âpivotâ, not only in our actions, but in our perspective of Him and life itself. I believe that this is a pivotal moment for us, a gamechanger moment! I donât know about you, but Iâve spent a lot of time focusing on what the Lord created me to do and maybe not so much on what He created me to be, which isnât a bad thing, but we must keep it in perspective. Do we trust the Lord with our happiness? The Lord knows what it will take for us to pivot not only in our actions, but in our thoughts, as He orders our steps into the next leg of our journey.

Did we really hear the Lord? This is the time that we will truly second guess all our decisions, when things start to happen that we just didnât expect. But obviously, this has always been a part of God's plan us. He has not said to turn around, He simply needs us to pivot, just to take a one quarter turn, for us to make a slight adjustment! Stay on track, the course hasnât changed, itâs just an aspect of His plan that we did not anticipate. Ultimately, we must realize that for us to be truly ready mentally and spiritually for whatâs ahead, According to Dr. Dharius Daniels, we must be ready for the blessing and the burden. For us to get more of what we do want, it will be accompanied by more of what we don't want. We know that we are going to work hard but we must work God's way, by developing a divine rhythm. He gave us His example of working six days andthen rest, not because He tired, but because He accomplished what He set out to do. Therefore, letâs follow His example, because our blessing is on the other side of our obedience, our diligence, and our determination.
When someone has been given much, much will be required in return; and when someone has been entrusted with much, even more will be required. NLT The Lord will move us when He is ready, so we must continue to be patient and persevere. We must trust God's timing and we must be careful not to try to work against our own deadlines, but to move into the Lord's timeline... what He is building in us He will build in the right way and at the right time.

Today, Iâd like to focus on what the Lord's freedom means in our workspaces. The freedom from anything and everything holding us back or thatâs standing in our way of doing what He has called us to do and to do what the Lord desires of us. In Matthew 5:16, it says, Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven. After over 30 years in C`orporate American, as I look back, I can honestly say, I do not believe that my light was shining most days. But now, I realize that His light was shining through me. How about you? We may think that our jobs have nothing to do with our calling, however, I believe that the Lord brings purpose to every place He takes us or allows us to go. Now before you jump to conclusions, as I did, I too was taught that deliverance only applies to sin, and I tried to explain that to the Holy Spirit. So, the Holy Spirit had to show me that deliverance also means liberation, freeing, rescue, or salvation from anything and everything holding you back or thatâs standing in your way from what the Lord is calling us to do. But there's more to it, so let's explore...

For the past few weeks, we have learned that we must let the Lord lead us, allow the Holy Spirit to guide us; to know, and accept that we're in the middle, and above all we must trust the Lord with our entire being! Like David, weâve been Anointed for the Palace, but weâve been sent back to the field to tend the sheep until the Lord says that we are ready to become king. Although David had been anointed for the palace, there was more preparation for him in the field tending the sheep. Much of this training in the field prepared him for the palace. However, he wasnât quite ready to be king, so may I ask what have you been anointed to be? So, I am sure that I am not the only one that the Holy Spirit has told that we have been âanointed for the palaceâ. This is something that He truly wants and desires for us to internalize, So, letâs dig a little deeperâŚ

We know that April is a major part of spring, which is a season of new beginnings, rebirth, and restoration. However, during my brief Google search, I alsofound that April is a part of the Nisan season, a season of miracles in Jewish culture. Last week, for most was Holy Week, the week between Palm Sunday and Resurrection Sunday or Easter. I found it rather refreshing to start the first full week of April on vacation. Now Iâm sure, that by this time, you must be a tad curious as to what does any of this have to do with todayâs topic which is âIn the Middleâ. As always, please allow me to explain. On Tuesday morning, I was reading my Lent devotional and it started by describing a scene of three trees on a lawn. The tree in the middle may indicate that Spring is here, with bright flowers in bloom, while the other two may still look like winter, with only small buds on their branches. Just like those trees, we may find ourselves in a place where one season may not have ended before a new one begins; the seasons may simply overlap. Do you feel like you may also be âIn the Middleâ, somewhere between your anointing, your calling, and your purpose? Then I believe that we may need to look at what the Holy Spirit has been saying to us over the past few weeks...

As I sat at my laptop preparing for this week's episode, instead of pulling up my draft, I started wondering why the Lord wanted me to become involved in the Women of Virtue Walking in Excellence journal project. Random thought, I donât think so. So, as I sat there, the Holy Spirit reminded me of an experience that I had journaling many years ago, when I was suffering from depression.
WARNING: I am by no means advocating that this is a proven medical solution for the illness of depression, I am only sharing my experience with journaling as I worked through my depression.
After going to a counseling session with my husband, which was rather enlightening, I decided to go to Barnes and Nobles and find books on how to reconnect with my spirit. So, to find out what happened, you must listen to the entire episode. :-D I must admit that I have no idea why the Holy Spirit took me this way this week, but obviously someone out there needed to hear it, which is why it is crucial that we take a quiet moment to listen to what the Holy Spirit is sayingâŚ

Well Iâm sure that with a topic like âReluctant Obedience", you must be curious of what does that really mean. Itâs an oxymoron at the very least, so please allow me to explain⌠The question is, how many times have we been reluctantly obedience, because we have taken responsibility for something that wasnât ours to begin with and thought that we could control the outcome. Ultimately, when the Lord tells us to do something, reluctant obedience is disobedience, and we never want to be guilty of that. I have found that knowing the Lord as a loving father, we understand He will chastise us when we get it wrong. So let's explore this a little further...

Last week, our topic was âHiding or Hiddenâ â Part 1 and we talked about the impossibility of trying to hide from the Lord, and more. So, this week, we were supposed to look at the idea of âbeing hidden by Godâ. Iâm sure that you have looked at this weekâs topic, "Hiding or Hidden", and have immediately wondered, Whatâs the difference? Well, I am glad you askedâŚ. Are we trying to hide from God? Or Is He keeping us Hidden?  We know that we canât hide from God, but we can shrink back from those things that we know He has told us and needs us to do. We may not be intentionally trying to hide from the Lord; however, we may be unconsciously avoiding what the Lord has called us to do by becoming preoccupied with all our other stuff.  So, do we have the courage to come out of hiding, from behind our stuff, our insecurities, or other people? As I mentioned in the last episode, I have found myself in the Winter season, and the Lord has continued to clear my calendar, one client at a time. At this point, since I have been at this place before, I was even more convinced that the Lord was freeing up my time for a specific reason and it was not so that I can play Words with Friends. Â Although Winter is a time for rest, which means a time of âpeace, ease or refreshmentâ, we must also understand the biblical definition of entering Godâs Rest! Â Biblical rest is not only something we do for our body, soul, and spirit, but a form of worship.Â
While in Winter, Â we must determine if we are mentally and skillfully prepared to reap the harvest. Â We often talk, wish, and pray for the harvest, but what about once it comes... Â Remember Our Steps are Ordered!

Last week, we left off with Galatians 6:9 KJV, which says; And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season, we shall reap if we faint not, and we will come back to it a little later. In the meantime, you may not have realized it, but we have five (5) seasons, Winter, Spring, Summer, Fall, and DUE season. The Holy Spirit has been rather persistent with this message of Seed, Time, and Harvest, so Iâd suggest that we listen very carefully as we look at the seasons through the eyes of a farmer.

Weâre already 30 days into a new year and I'm very concerned that we are already consumed by the mental chaos of busy and out of our divine rhythm. A stream of clutter is slowly turning our mental space into a chaotic mess. Â The year has just begun, and it is much too soon to allow our mind to become cluttered with thoughts of discontent and defeat. Â We are going to pause, take a deep breath, get out our journal and take some notes on what Iâve shared with you over the past few months. So, as I was lying in bed, early Saturday morning, anxiously awaiting to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit, when I heard in my spirit, SEED, TIME, AND HARVEST, thus my topic for this week. Farming analogies are used throughout the Bible, so I started my search, which began at GenesisâŚ
As long as the earth endures, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night will never cease. â Genesis 8:22
For this episode to make sense, we must put ourselves into the place of a farmer, and remember that farming is very hard work, extremely labor intensive. As we are pushed into our purpose, there are some scriptures related to farming that I'd like to share with you. Although, we are only eight days into the new year, it has been very interesting what the Holy Spirit has been saying to me and maybe to you also. I believe that in 2023, we are going to be PUSHED into our Purpose, like never before. Â The Lord is going to PUSH us this year, because He is truly tried of waiting for us to do what He has already told us to do. Â We are being PUSHED out of our comfort zone and beyond what we may consider our inadequacies and our limitations. We are moving rapidly into 2023, another year of Godâs Favor, but we must be careful not to pray away the mountains that the Lord may send our way. We must understand that the Lord is always strengthening us for this journey. Â We canât afford to allow our mind, heart, or soul to become cluttered with thoughts of discontent and defeat. Â Although it may get tough, the Lord is always on our side, especially when adversity comes. This may be somewhat of a weird introduction to this weekâs episode, but I almost missed my miracle, which is why Iâm saying to you, âDonât Miss Your Miracle!â...
Well, my story began about 4 years ago, when my husband broke his ankle after he slipped on the ice. Being the man that he is, not knowing that it was broke, decided to cinch up his boots real tight and walk on it for TEN whole days. As I casually passed by him and saw that his ankle was rather swollen, we realized that there may be a problem. There are a few more interesting details to this story, but you will just have to listen to the entire episode.
Ultimately, everyoneâs situation may be different, and this may not apply to you, but for some of us, The Holy Spirit wants us to know that we may be looking at our Miracle and just NOT realize it... My prayer is that your prayers are answered, and your miracles happen, but it just may not look the way you thought it would.

There are times when we must tell the enemy NOT TODAY! Â We must let him know that we will not entertain one taunt, threat, distraction, discouragement, or setback. Now before I tell you the rest of my story from last week, I want to remind of the question at hand, Are you Loyal to a Fault? Loyal to a friendship or a relationship, even a family member, who may have become a distraction or a disruption in your life; or maybe we are loyal to a job, a position, even a church, that we have lost sight of our purpose and even ignored our calling. Â Amid the agony of my decision regarding returning to my church, I realized that this was not just about COVID concerns. My church and I have changed a lot over the past 3 years. Early one Sunday morning, the Holy Spirit asked me this question, âHave you become loyal to a fault and in essence, lost sight of where I need you to goâ. But, as I believe that some of us have done from time to time, I pushed past it and started to go about my day. As my day went on, I realized that the Holy Spirit was setting me up. At some point, I was going to have to answer this question. So, have you have found yourself being âloyal to a faultâ, the Lord will allow time for us to let âitâ go or He may just have to take âitâ away, so that we can move into the place that He has promised us⌠Stay tuned, thereâs more to this story!

Do you have those close friends or relatives that you donât talk to often, but you are very close? You may see them on Facebook from time to time, but as life happens, years may go by without actually talking to each other. But, in a moment, the Holy Spirit will say just call them. Now this is the challenge, do we take the moment to call or do we put it off or maybe you just text to say Hi. We must admit that the pandemic has changed a lot of things, but it should have made us even more aware that we need to say in better contact with each other than ever before. We have technology that allows us to see each otherâs faces even when we are thousands of miles apart. But, unfortunately, technology can be a two-edged sword, because I believe that we have lost the art of communication, to text is faster and easier. But now, we donât have the opportunity to read the body language, or sense how people are feeling by just their tone of voice.
Life is too precious, we just can't afford to miss a moment, especially those quiet moments when we need to listen to what the Holy Spirit is sayingâŚ

Last month, I turned 66 and although I know that my steps have been ordered through all the good times and the bad, I finally have a confidence that Iâm truly living on purpose. Â My life still has its challenges, but Iâve learned to âstop sweating the small stuff", I turn the big stuff over to the Lord, and if I'm not sure what size it is, I give it to Him anyway. Are you in a place of uncertainty? Are you growing weary in your efforts to keep moving? As we said last week, you may be in the wilderness. Â Although the wilderness may feel like a place of stagnation, maybe even boring and non-productive, itâs a place of the Lordâs provision and protection until we are ready for where He needs us to go, to the place that He has promised us. If we were to look back over the last 12 months, what would we see? Now, if we could look ahead 12 months and what would we see? Are we looking at all the pieces of the puzzle, are we connecting the dots? Are we seeing the Order of our steps? Or have you found that we are in the wilderness?Although, the Lord may lead us into the wilderness and provide for us while we are there, He doesn't mean for us to get too comfortable with it and settle in the wilderness, however, it is a part of the journey!

Last week, I suggested that we all take a closer look at our own respective journey through life. As the Lord molds our wet clay on the Potterâs wheel, the process may begin smooth and gentle, but at some point, it may get a little Hot⌠He must make sure that the clay solidifies and begins to harden, so He must apply some heat. We must remember that as our wet clay begins to harden, the Lord will bless us with a unique design of gifts, talents, wealth, knowledge and so much more to serve a very specific purpose that will benefit others and glorify Him.

I believe that at times, the Lord may become somewhat frustrated with us and because when He whispers, we donât really listen, so He has had to Shout! Thereâs a noise in your spirit that is so very loud that you canât ignore it. I believe that this may apply to some of you, and you know who you are⌠Thereâs a major shift happening in our lives and the Lord has had to result to shouting at us, because time is of the essence.
There was so much in last weekâs episode, âPreparing for the Journeyâ. The Lord is constantly leading us towards our destiny and many times, we don't even know it. He is ordering our steps and guiding our decisions, as we move from one place to another in this life. However, the question begs...

Imagine with me, for a moment, that someone very close to you; spouse, sister, best friend, someone who knows you, almost better than you know yourself, told you that they were taking you on a trip, but they are not going to tell you where you are going. They are just going to give you a few details, so that you can prepare for the trip.
Isnât the Lord the same way and He knows us better than you know ourselves? So, how are we preparing for where the Lord is taking us? He doesnât have to tell us where we are going, we just have to get ready and put things in suitable order for the journey, with the information that we have. Last week, we talked about living in the overflow, meaning to be saturated with God's presence to the point we begin to overflow His Glory. Since we cannot contain His Glory, the overflow becomes the catalyst to our calling.  Logically, this sounds reasonable, however, spiritually, we will be stretched beyond our own ability.  We cannot afford to be so preoccupied with just living life that we forget why we were created!  We must be ready when the door opens, because itâs the small opportunities, at just the right time, that may count the most, which is why we must always be listening to what the Holy Spirit is sayingâŚ

Although we often ask God, Why?⌠do we really want to hear His answer? When we think about it honestly, God doesnât actually owe us an explanation for what He does or how He does it. The topic for this week's podcast was all in my corn flakes⌠and whatâs fascinating is that I didnât realize how much so until Friday. The Holy Spirit continues to Blow my Mind on how He works, and in most cases, we donât even realize that Heâs working on our behalf, especially as we move into new unchartered territory.
Earlier in the week, I was listening to a message entitled âThis Doesnât Fitâ, by Dr. Dharius Daniels. At the end of his message, he talked about the fact that he had never fit in, even when he was called into ministry. He said that even as we are walking in our calling, we are not healed from that feeling of being different. I too never quite felt that I fit in anywhere. I often wondered if something was wrong with me. I always felt weird. But I was never supposed to fit in and neither are you!

So, letâs take up where we left off last week, are you in a dry place as Elijah was, sitting by the Kerith Brook watching the water dry up? But remember, this is a place where the Lord has sent you, a place that felt really good, at first, but then the Lord may just send a disturbance in our lives to bring us out of hiding for those that are waiting on the other side. In this day and time, do we truly know how to listen? Listening takes time and effort. It may be just me, but do you occasionally simply zone out during a conversation, until itâs your turn to talk. The process of listening is especially difficult, when itâs silent. Wait! âŚthat sounds like an oxymoron.
I'd share with you a little story about the prophet, Elijah and I pray that this may give you a little more context to what I mean, when I say listening through the silence. Sometimes, to establish something new in our life, God must disturb us, disrupt our peaceful place with plenty of water and set us in a place that is dry. Then, at some point, we will have to move just like Elijah.
Are we listening in the silence waiting for our next set of instructions from the Lord or are we simply waiting for our next turn to talk?

Let me begin by asking what is a âbreakthroughâ? I looked for a definition that would be befitting for what Iâm about to share and I found this: A breakthrough is something that changes the course of your life going forward and ensures that things will never be the same for you again. Most of what a breakthrough requires is for us to have the courage and the bravery to stop settling for second best.
For the past few years, especially with the onset of the pandemic, I've continued to try to understand where the Lord is taking my ministry. It was during a actual life coaching session that I received my breakthrough. Weâve never sure of the exact path that the Lord has laid before us, but His message to me has been very consistent, and that is for all of us to pause and listen. However, it was during this coaching session that the Holy Spirit added a whole new dimension to my message to us.

We are in a season of grief and loss, like we've never seen before. For some of us, our lives may seem to be in total darkness right now. For others, we may encounter those moments of darkness when our situation may seem hopeless. But remember, into the smallest crevices of our lives, the Light of His Glory will shine through. The Lord is the only one that can strengthen us, that can hold us up, even in the darkest places.
It is also in these times that the Holy Spirit will give us the smallest nudge, what may seem like a trivial direction or instruction. But we are living in a time where we cannot afford to ignore what may seem trivial. As Iâve said, and will continue to say, we must pause and listen to what the Holy Spirit sayingâŚ

I believe that the Lord is taking us somewhere and itâs time that we take a long, hard look at where we are and or where we should be going and if we are not going anyway, then we must ask the question, "What's really Standing your Way? I am reminded of a message I did a few years ago entitled âConnect the Dotsâ. Remember the Connect the Dots books. There were dots all over the page, but in the center of the page, the dots had numbers on them. When you connected the dots by the number, a picture appeared. During the month of April, I spent a lot of time talking about falling, but now we are up and running or walking really fast. Now, while many of us are tired of talking and or even hearing about the last two years and believe me I understand. Last Monday, I was sitting on my bed after sending out the podcast for the week and my eyes were drawn to the cover of my journal which says, âGod is with her, she will not fall.â Psalm 46:5 ⌠Now I found that quite interesting, in light of last weekâs episode, âFalling on Our Faithâ. So, I was a little confused. But think about it, falling on your face usually denotes failure, but falling on your faith, isnât really falling at all. But, of course, I had to go the Bible for further clarification and this is what I found, it's not "If you fall... it's when you fall". So have your fallen and now you are not sure whether you even want to give up at all?

I would venture to say that most of you will not be able to truly enjoy this weekâs podcast, because you are just too busy. The only time you can even take 5 minutes to listen, is while you are driving to work, working, or driving home and for those of you that are not commuting, Iâm not sure when youâd have time. We all have a story, with the good and the not-so-good; the ups and downs; the detours that take us off course and the roadblocks that stop us in our tracks. Although, we would rather not acknowledge that God allows the unexpected tragedies, He continues to give us miraculous blessings. So, as we began to talk about last week, when God said, âI know the thoughts that I think towards youâ in Jeremiah 29:11, He already knew our story. Yes, Heâd already read the book, cover to cover. God Knows our story and now, we have to stick to it!

I donât about you, but I have soooo many questions right now!  I believe that we all are looking for answers⌠We ask God for an explanation and He says "Just Trust Me".  Knowing all the challenges that we face, He continues to Bless us, because God Has a Plan! One of my favorites, if not my very favorite scripture is Jeremiah 29:11 and it may be yours too.  But early in 2020, the Holy Spirit gave me a whole new revelation regarding the content in which that scripture was written.  So, over the next few weeks, I would love to share more of the story with you and get your thoughts and comments.

After my encounter with stress and anxiety, of the worst kind, that I experienced the week before last, I feel like I can breathe again! As I had mentioned, the issue was on instant replay in my mind for the entire week. Ultimately, I realized that I had made an assumption, justified my assumption and drew my own conclusion. Some of you may be able to relate... or maybe not. Â There are a few lessons that I've learned, I'd like to share with you.

It was early Friday morning and I hadnât received my Holy Ghost Download for this week. I have to admit that I was a tad discouraged and in the midst of convincing myself that it was time to stop doing the podcast, because only 2 or 3 would isten to it anyway⌠and the Holy Spirit said, âif only for oneâ!
In my moment of pride, I found myself being driven by todayâs culture, which measures success by the numbers, especially in the world of social media. Unfortunately, the Holy Spirit had to remind me that the Lord determines our success.Â

Yes, this is another movie reference from Encanto. In the movie, Bruno, the son, had a gift that was perceived to have a negative effect on their lives, not only by his family, but by his community, So Bruno left and no one was supposed to talk about Bruno! Is there someone that has simply walked away from you? Someone that you held close and just can't understand why they would leave. I would venture to say that over the years, we all have built up defense walls to protect ourselves; our feelings, our emotions, our hearts. It has been our only means of survival. We tell ourselves that it really doesn't matter, we are ok, but in actuality, we are not ok. The Walls Must Come Down! It's time for us to release any bitterness that may be lingering in your heart and the healing process will begin. The biblical definition of âhopeâ is to trust in, wait for, look for or to expect something beneficial in the future. As I continued to read about âhopeâ, I found something very interesting. Last week we talked about experiencing Doubt and I felt that it warranted a little more discussion. Doubt is such a natural response to a situation that we are uncertain of the outcome. But doubt can only be a temporary state of mind and our task is not to allow it to last too long. On the other hand, Joy is a choice! It's up to us to decide that the "Joy of the Lord is our Strength". This is not about feeling happy, it's choosing to be content, not to doubt and have faith that the Lord is faithful. So let's dig a little deeper into the scripture and see what it says....

Recently, I have read that the more we try to suppress, repress and even rebuke our doubt, that feeling of uncertainty and other uncomfortable feelings, the more stressed and anxious we become. Â Do you realize that the Bible talks about every conceivable emotion and or situation we could experience? Â This week we are going to look at what the Bible says about Doubt!

It was 6:30 last Wednesday morning and I was wondering what to share with you this week... but I was on the verge of tears, because I was in my feeling AGAIN! Last week, we talked about Spiritual Fatigue and this week we are going to look at Spiritual Vitality.  I have found that Spiritual Vitality starts with a real, long, DEEP breath. This is where spiritual rejuvenation and restoration begins. These days, we have a new daily routine ⌠but are we breathing? Or have we simply pushed pass our feelings and our fatigue? Â

I pray that you were with us last week, when we talked about "Waiting is Hard"! Although, this week I thought that we would look at Jeremiah 29:11, one of my favorite scriptures, the Holy Spirit had other ideas. While listening to a message last week, I discovered that one of the main reasons why "Waiting is so Hard"... is "Spiritual Fatigue"! Â We become physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually tired. Are you not just tired of waiting or are you just Tired?!Â

Have you ever considered asking the Lord for patience? If so, I'd strongly suggest that you don't... until you think it all the way through. No, I'm serious! In order to have patience, you not only have to learn how to wait, but you have to learn to wait in anticipation and expectation, not frustration. Â Let's embrace the opportunity while waiting, especially during difficult times, to make room for development and personal growth.

We welcome you back to Holy Ghost Downloads! Â We have never had to endure tougher times than these that we are experiencing right now. Â So, I thought that I would share what the Holy Spirit has been saying to me over the past year and a half to get me through. Â The first Holy Ghost Download was in July of last year, when I felt that the Lord had just put too much on us... a worldwide pandemic, racial injustice, grief and losses like we'd never seen before. Â But then He reminded me of the miracle of Moses and the children of Israel crossing the Red Sea. Â I pray that this encourages you as much as it encouraged me....
