Cyclical Living Series: Recent Episodes

Lou Perham

The Cyclical Living Series is here to turn up the volume on a cyclical way of life. We'll be diving into how we can live this way within our modern lives. We're also sharing the gifts we can receive from doing so.I'm really passionate about sharing the language and information about cycles, the feminine body and it's processes so we can be more informed and able to advocate for our needs. I was 32 before I learnt about what was effecting me and why I was experiencing so much pain and dis-ease. That was way too late in my eyes. I went on a path of healing and learnt so much along the way. I also met some amazing people. This series is all about opening up the conversations I'm lucky enough to have regularly with them. The field of cycles is wide and fascinating. Cycles are all around us, be that moon, menstrual, seasonal, sleep etc and they effect everything from our capacities, capabilities, productivity, creativity and more. I want more people to have access to this incredible knowledge and so I created a platform to amplify those who are sharing this wisdom. Why wouldn't we learn how to harness cycles so we can optimise, heal, and grow in a way which is truly aligned to us.

This week on the podcast I am sharing a conversation I had with Hannah Dudley, an Astrologer & Intuitive Mentor. She teaches sensitive women in soul led business how to lead with their intuition and feminine energy, so they are always moving in alignment with their deepest values. She works with their natal chart & the moon cycles as a compass.

We went into some juicy conversation which includes:

  • How her period pain woke her up to her cycle’s influence
  • How the moon cycle mirrors the menstrual cycle
  • The corker question she asks herself to ensure she’s being discerning about managing her energy and staying committed
  • Where is the natural time to celebrate your achievements in your cycle and we share our celebration practises
  • Why is ovulation just as much about receiving as it is about giving

I hope you enjoyed this episode of the cyclical living series.

This episode is my first solo episode which faces into some of the language and 'maps' of the cycle. Understanding this turned my world from black and white to technicolour.

These frames, offers a way to explain what is occuring in our body which many of us have no explination for. It normalises these processes which is so incredibly important.

Getting used to some of this language will also help for other conversations I have as we head through the series. This episode adds to the Cycle Tracking Toolkit if you're interested in giving it a go yourself. We cover:

  • What menstruality means
  • What the two energies of the cycle are and how do they show up
  • The inner seasons of the cycle and how we can lean in to them

Here are details on Red School my mentors and Wild Power their book, which is the source for this conversation.
