This is the most recent video production I worked on featuring an artist who happens to be a dear friend and frequent collaborator. This project presented a unique challenge for me due to its length - over 4 minutes - but I was determined to create a cohesive story out of the footage we shot in Milan. The video follows the artist as he goes around the city with his keyboard and various other equipment, like a grasshopper searching for the perfect spot.

It was a truly rewarding experience and I have to say, Valerio Savino is a talented and versatile artist. You can easily find his music on any popular digital platform. He even owns his own recording studio in Milan and works as a producer. Recently, I suggested he move onto blockchain technology and he took my advice, as you'll see from the beneficiaries listed below. I was able to work with Sooperlooper on the Linux platform - specifically Ubuntu, MX, and Debian - and discovered the fluidity of this incredible open-source software.

As a dedicated musician, I refuse to settle for pre-formatted sounds and dislike feeling obligated to create music using "preset" templates.
I'm a niche musician who specializes in folktronica, and the excerpt I've included is part of a 15-minute composition. The piece features a D major tuning, with the intro starting in D minor before transitioning into an open D to encourage the audience to connect with their inner selves and the divine through the music's vibrations. Shrooms, weed, peace, and love - that's what it's all about!

I primarily work on Linux and prefer the Debian operating system because it is stable and reliable. Recently, after experiencing a crash on my hackintosh, I decided to switch entirely to Linux for video and music production. I am currently testing soopelooper on Ardour for a streaming show that I am organizing. This software is easier to use than Binklooper or other similar programs because I do not need to build the entire structure of the song to loop in live mode.

È pieno di barzellette, aiuta la tua mente a fare le sinapsi corrette per capire il significato più profondo oltre lo scherzo.
Questo video è basato su questo concetto, intenzionalmente fatto fuori sincrono, è una scelta creativa che riflette i
problemi sociali che sto cercando di ritrarre.
La disarticolazione del video rappresenta come la nostra società sia fuori sincrono e manchi di armonia, e come le cose che dovrebbero funzionare insieme non lo siano.

L'umorismo nel video ha anche lo scopo di far riflettere più a fondo lo spettatore sul messaggio che c'è dietro, proprio come le battute nel Wúménguān. Utilizzando umorismo e scelte creative, il video mira a coinvolgere ed informare il pubblico sulle questioni sociali in un modo pungente, quasi strasfottente.

Wúménguān; literally it means "no gate"
It's a Buddhist book which introduce the reader to the "state of Zen"
It's full of jokes, it helps your mind to do the correct synapses in order to understand the deeper meaning beyond the joke.
This video is based on this concept, intentionally made out of sync, it is a creative choice to reflect the societal issues I'm trying to portray.
The disjointedness of the video represents how our society is out of sync and lacks harmony, and how things that should work together are not.

The humor in the video is also meant to make the viewer think deeper about the message behind it, just like the jokes in the Wúménguān. By using humor and creative choices, the video aims to engage and inform the audience on societal issues in a unique and thought-provoking way.

The song begins with soft voice whispring a "call to pray" (don't ask me why, but i think it's time to pray, meditate, think and stop talking) slowly the voice blends in with the sound of the Turkish traditional instrument, the saz. The melody is reminiscent of the rich history and culture of Turkey, a call to explore its wonders and embrace its beauty.

Throughout the song, Mario's voice takes the lead, gently asking the listener to open their heart and soul to love, to the spiritual world, to the beauty that surrounds them. The lyrics are filled with imagery, taking the listener on a journey through the colorful landscapes of Turkey and encouraging them to find inspiration in its beauty.

I am currently experimenting with sound settings for live streaming. However, I faced some challenges finding the perfect setting as Apple software is quite limited to preset sounds.

My goal is to create a full concert in the folktronica style. Although the sound in my current video is almost decent, there is still some fine-tuning to do. It has taken me about a month to get to this point, as using SooperLooper was quite challenging.
Each track has its own unique bit, which required some innovative workarounds. Nonetheless, I finally found a solution and am excited to continue refining my sound for live streaming.

Trip to Turkey is a music i wrote for my daughter, a memento to keep, the trip to Turkey.
For the guitar i used a Berber Tuning, it was very intriguing.
I 'm producing an #nftmusic i guess that this composition is quite good, obviuosly this is just the idea,
but it's interesting that the entire song has been produced with low quality instruments but the result is nice...

Domenico is a real musician,he plays guitar, piano, drums and he has 10 years on his back of hard music lessons since he was a little kid to.
I really enjoyed working with the crew, we spent an entire day in a skateboard area, was very hot, but the footage we produced are the most interesting i ever did.
Let me tell you that Domenico has the kick to go very far. He worked hard to produce the video, we moved from one location to another in a very short time, in the end, we made almost 3 hours footage, which is really a lot of material... the video is just stunning i had so much fun building the entire "story" it was like a puzzle, and the promo as well is fantastic.. i didn't really synchronized the promo, i created "jump-cuts" from the images i liked the most.. and it worked perfectly.. i love the promo
Behind his music the touch of Alberto Boi and Valerio Savino, at the guitar Carmine Migliore with his white Strato-caster with virtuosity created a dreamy and evolving atmosphere.

In this promo I was looking for a simple effect, we were in the back of the teathre sort of "skid-row area" right behind the posh one.. ironic.

Well, It is filled up with graffiti, some or them are projects created by art-schools, associations or what-so-ever, others are just wild artistic expression of dissents.. very impressive.

By the way, i created some simple slides.. with very sharp pictures, worked the pictures directly from FinalCut in RAW extension, to give a stronger impact.
The effect is very nice, pulled up exposure on the whites and reduced the main channel.. nice result.

Hot in summer, cold and wet in winter the worse weather you can imagine, not far form a river which is used to flood the rice fields in springtime,this little village is built on one lonely small road which takes you to what in the past was -- under the second world war -- a border very desired by both parts.

To keep the rice ( strategical for the army to supply troupes with real food, no shipping no cost a huge advantage on the enemy) So, the inhabitants used to store the rice in glass-bottles and buried the harvest in the fields. Impossible to find it unless you know where to use your shovel.

This "trick" was used during the century to keep the rice always perfect. They used to sell the rice in bottle, which was the best one, the most expensive one, and the rice in a bag, which was the "second-choice" cheaper.
So, this documentary has been filmed with a "crappy" phone, is from my personal collection.
Now that i can finally publish it on a real free and indipendent platform... here i am..

This is one of my video-production, i did a little work on the sound, mastering and adding a few voices on low pitch,
pushing the middle-sound. The problem was to find a nice setting for the bass, I'd like it slightly dry.
Working with the crew was nice, we filmed in Cislago, my little town.
The area is wide open and offers an empty space, with no distractions.
The biker scene was filmed by me
attached as i could..
One hand at the bottom of the biker and the other firmly attached as glue to my gimbal...
It was fun...
The singer (La Ile) decided to distribute the song by her self, using my little Label, MGR from CDbaby.
