You know those people in your life...the ones you aren't always in contact with but you can pick right up where you left off or if you reach out, they are there in a second? This podcast includes some of these incredible women I have in my life. Truly forever friends and what real BFFs are! It's hard to get us to stop talking or laughing, and this episode may be boring or make no sense, but it was exactly what I needed!
I hope everyone is as lucky as I am to have lifelong friends like these!

One Mike is a handful but two Mikes is just out of control. This session was definitely "rambling" and I'm not sure we really got anywhere but it was fun! Mike Lee and Mike Lair were a blast and although we went off the rails less than half way in, we at least laughed through the whole thing. It also helped to have Money's wife, Heather, there as well! I guess even if the hour dosen't make sense for you, it made perfect sense to us at the time :) Enjoy!

Well, it's been awhile, but no better way to get back into it than with these two ladies who are my spirit animals! I did record this in October so it's a bit delayed but a perfect time/laugh for the colder weather. Honestly, we were all over the place but we couldn't help it. This was a blast to get back into recording, and I promise to get back on track in the new year.

A Joe Brown request but you can't blame him! These three ladies together are a riot and we didn't even get into all the things we could have. You might have to change your undies for this one...I almost wet my pants a couple of times. There is no control with Laurie, Krissy and Bobbie but it's always a good time. This podcast was probably a hot mess but we had fun - even the audience was a mess!

Every year, two Alexis boys return to their hometown to help one of their long-time friends with harvest. While they travel here to do some hard work with long hours, they do find time to fit in some fun and laughs. If you know of any girls who fit the term "chatty kathy", you obviously have not met these fellas yet. This is the longest podcast yet and could have been longer if I hadn't shut them down. Although Heath had so many strories and topics, Mike and John took over! Enjoy the show and be looking forward to Farming: Texas to Alexis Part 2 during next years harvest season! Please remember to share, review, follow and keep coming back! New songs for your Ramblings playlist: Red Red Cattle, Heath Austin (if you can find it); Friends in Low Places, Garth Brooks; Heading South, Zach Bryan; More Than a Feeling, Boston; Love Me, Aaron Lewis.

It isn't often that people ask me to be on the podcast or tell me that a certain group needs to "represent" but when they do, we make it happen! I was told that we needed some "younger" guests and so I made them come on. Marly asked and so she grabbed Maggie and it worked out perfectly. I'll be honest, it wasn't easy but is was fun and these girls are a hoot! Please remember to share, review, follow and keep coming back! New songs for your Ramblings playlist: Keg in the Closet, Kenny Chesney; Whiskey Girl, Toby Keith; Bartender, Rehab; Redneck Girl, Bellamy Brothers; Run, George Strait; Fat Bottom Girls, Queen; Rain, The Teskey Brothers.

Gimpys is a local treasure but it is the people of Gimpys who are the real gems! Tiffany and Misha are two of the best. They are so fun and take no shit! We probably could have recorded for three hours, rambling on forever. So if you are ever in this area and want some good bar food mixed with some great people, Gimpys is the place! Please remember to share, review, follow and keep coming back! New songs for your Ramblings playlist: Shoop, Salt-N-Pepa; Free Bird, Lynyrd Skynyrd; One Headlight, The Wallflowers; Forever Road, Darius Rucker; Cool LIttle Bars, Ashley McBryde.

Some people have cousins who become forever friends and that is the case with these two. Dana Shull Hoefer and Nicole Butcher Brown are "built-in" best friends and although it took forever to convince them to come on the podcast, it was, of course, full of laughs. I am lucky enough to spend a lot of time with them in one way or another and I'm so glad you get to experience their craziness that I love. New songs for your Ramblings playlist: California Girls, Katy Perry and Snoop Dog; Feel Like Me, Joe Stamm Band; All I Wanna Do, Sheryl Crow; Here Comes the Hotstepper, Ini Kamoze.

If you have a sister, you are lucky...especially if your sister is anything like mine! Even though my sister lives in Florida, we are very close and when she made a quick trip home, I convinced her to podcast with me. Sometimes just conversation and drinks with friends is all you need! Jen and Jori make for a fun hour even though we talk to each other all the time. They were so nervous but sounded like pros. Belly laughs are a given when you ramble with Loren Follmer! Even though he isn't from the Village, he lives close by and you may recognize his voice from 97.7. We finally get to talk "off air" and about all the things you can't say on the radio. We are both addicted to people watching, especially at the beach and at the airport! Loren is one of the funniest and most positive people I know and I'm sure you will enjoy the banter. He will definitely need to be a return guest...enjoy!

Happiness is meeting up with old friends after time apart! One of my longtime friends, Tina Kohn, came to town to catch up. So this podcast is what happens when one of your favorites that you haven't seen in way too long comes to town. We may have "chatted" too long before we started recording so I apologize if it sounds like we've had a few beers! She may not have grown up in the Village but knows some people who have. We remember fun times and try to figure out why people do some of the things they do. Please share, review, follow and keep coming back! New songs for your Ramblings playlist: Humble and Kind, Tim McGraw; Levon, Elton John and Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters, Elton John.
