3- Follow up with everyone to make sure they received your record requests and if it's been completed.
4- Request all medical records from both hospitals.
5- Follow up follow up follow up.
6- Get your complete history of your doctor visits over the past 2 years (it's something necessary in British Columbia)

Heather talks to Dr. Eric Payne is a pediatric neurologist and clinical researcher. He worked as a pediatric neurology and epilepsy consultant at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN from 2014-2020. He completed medical school and pediatric neurology residency at the University of Calgary and Alberta Children’s Hospital. He then pursued fellowship training in pediatric neuro-critical care and epilepsy at the Hospital for Sick Children in Toronto. He obtained a Master of Public Health from Harvard University. He is board certified in Pediatric Neurology (Fellow – Royal College of Physicians & Surgeons of Canada) and Clinical Electroencephalography (Canadian Society of Clinical Neurophysiologists). His research has focused on neuro-inflammation and improving long-term cognitive outcomes among children with refractory seizures and critical brain injury.
He is also a member of the Canadian Covid Care Alliance.
