Welcome back.. today I share about Aceh's culinary specialty in the form of Kuwah Eungkot Paya (swamp fish soup). Kuwah eungkot paya is usually cooked together by men by working together, starting from finding fish in swamps or rivers, cleaning them together, cooking them until eating them together.Kuwah eungkot paya is usually made at night during the dry season, why does it have to be the dry season..? In the dry season the swamps start to dry up and fish are very easy to catch.
In addition to Aceh's spices to add to the flavor of kuwah eungkot paya, this kuwah eungkot paya is also added with young bananas or banana heart fruit.

I drank coffee with friends this time at Om Din Kupi Kubra's coffee shop which is located on Prof.A.Madjid Ibrahim Street, Sigli City, Aceh.
At Om Din Kopi provides various types of coffee drinks, one of the most famous is Ulee Kareng coffee which is made by a professional barista.
All coffee shops in the Sigli city area do provide Ulee Kareng coffee, but the taste is different from the concoction at Om Din Kupi, the taste is more solid on the tongue.

Asam sunti is a typical Acehnese kitchen spice, especially Aceh Pidie which is made with dried starfruit. Sunti acid is always available in Acehnese kitchens, both in villages and urban areas, without this sunti acid, Acehnese cuisine is incomplete, then how do you process starfruit into sunit acid?. Check out this brief explanation.
Take a ripe starfruit to taste. Usually starfruit grows in the yard of the Acehnese people in the village.
The wuluh starfruit that has been picked is then collected and washed and soaked for one night.
After the immersion process, the wuluh starfruit is dried in the sun or dried in the sun. This drying process usually takes about 7 days or more, depending on the hot sun.
In the afternoon or evening, the dried starfruit is collected in a container for the process of giving salt, the salt must be given accordingly so that the quality of sunti acid is better.

This is our trip to Pulo Aceh for a few months, our goal there is to see the beauty of Pulo Aceh while cycling.I actually don't have a bicycle yet, but on the invitation of my friends who are nature lovers and there are friends who can't come, so I borrowed the bike, finally I was able to go to Pulo Aceh.
Because Pulo Aceh is located in the middle of the sea, to get there you have to use a fishing boat that specifically brings tourists to the island of Aceh.
Had an overnight stay in Pulo Aceh, the morning after breakfast we immediately cycled around Pulo Aceh until we got to the lighthouse. This lighthouse is called the Willem's Toren tower which is located in Meulingge village, Pulo Aceh, Aceh Besar district, Aceh.
