LETTER WRITING TO NURSING HOME RESIDENTS: An American woman from Pennsylvania who befriended two Laois Nursing Home residents has flown over to see them this week. On a search for her own Mother who has County Laois roots, Kathleen Gore White has met with 2 people she has been writing to during the Pandemic. Kathleen speaks with Ann Marie on the Open Door about the emotional journey, to not only met her Pen Pals but the search for her Mother's place of birth who passed away when she was just 5 years of age.
