advocacy and grassroots activities for Sudan. Speakers included Richard Williamson, the U.S. Envoy to
Sudan, discussing the current situation on the ground and addressing the issue of normalization of
relations with Khartoum; Roger Winter, a former State Department Special Representative for Sudan and
a
member of the U.S. team that helped negotiate the CPA and an Advisor to the Enough Project,
discussing
the breakdown of the CPA; Omer Ismail, also an Advisor to Enough; Alex Meixner of the Save Darfur
Coalition; Colin Thomas-Jensen, Enough's Policy Advisor; and others.
